We stayed in the Stay In Superior Suite and it was absolutely phenomenal. It looks exactly like the pictures advertised. Absolutely spotless. Everything was clean, fresh and looked after. Fresh white towels and linen were clean, soft and luxurious. The furniture and room decor is modern and in line with what you would expect in a boutique hotel. You can tell the hotel must be fairly new, as everything is in brilliant condition. The bed was very comfortable and the big in the room is perfect. The suite is very special with the stand alone bath, which was incredible. The room has great amenities with a Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of pods and lots of other included tea and coffee bits. The room also had lots of complimentary bottles of water which we appreciated. There is also a mini bar full of bits you can pay for (Note: no alcohol included.) The shower and bath water temp and pressure was great and the white robes were a lovely touch. This suite is luxurious and perfect for a night away. Really special and really worth it. The staff at the front desk were friendly, informative and professional and got us checked in quickly with no issues. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The hotel is advertised as having a restaurant and room service. This is not the case as it isn't open yet, so this is not available at the moment. We were planning on having dinner in the restaurant or room when we arrived as we're weren't planning on going out and found out the restaurant isn't open which was a shame. Luckily we weren't too bothered and just ordered food from somewhere local, but if a restuarant/bar and room service is important to you, I would double check when this will be up and running.

Very nicely finished and nice decoration and furnishings. It felt much more high end than the room rate would suggest. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good - for the money I thought it would only be continental but full English made to order was included. Towels were nice and was great to have robes as well. Room was very clean. I’ve listed some negatives as well but for the money I would say this really was a very good hotel and I’ll probably stay here again next time I’m in Huddersfield.

There were some maintenance issues. The door keycard didn’t work so had to carry a key which I was told if lost would incur a charge. The blinds in the bedroom wouldn’t close. The shower was very difficult to turn on and off. No AC in the room which in the hot weather wasn’t great.

Great location within the centre. Easy access to all amenities, Staff all very welcoming, polite and presentable. The hotel was clean, room spotless, and a small issue with the shower was swiftly resolved. Breakfast was freshly cooked with ample choice. We managed to park in the hotel carpark, this is on a first come first served basis but easily accessible pay and display car park right next to the hotel. Looking forward to staying again

The only slight negative for us was the temperature of the room, it was boiling, even with the window wide open and the heating turned off. Fan provided in the room but it was so noisy.

I found the room was a little bit small. The bathroom was a little bit tight where the toilet in the shower was toilet holder wasn’t secured on the wall. It was a little bit loose. It was a big gash at the back of the bathroom door but all in all staff was so helpful and supportive cleanliness is why I expected to be on top point which it was the area where it situated right in the middle of town was excellent and I would go back there again

Like I said that this statement above the room was a little bit small and the bathroom was tight. The toilet was too close to the shower door and I couldn’t work the shower. I had to call reception to show me how to use it was a bit difficult so it would be nice if we had instructions on how to use the shower taps.

The room and all areas were clean. It had everything we needed and some. I was travelling alone with my toddler and all staff were helpful and friendly. It was very hot during my stay (unusually so) and as we were on the ground floor, I couldn't keep the window open at night. But there was a fan in the room and that helped. The breakfast was delicious, cooked fresh with a wide range of options and generous portions. The coffee was great! The location was fantastic for what I needed. Right in the centre and there was lots of street parking available.

The perfect location for a concert at the Town Hall as it's right opposite the entrance and only a 10 minute walk from the station. There's also parking a 1 minute walk away and they are building another car park opposite. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We had ordered avocado on a muffin with a poached egg but waiter came to say that the avocados weren't ripe enough so offered us an alternative. The room was spacious, bed comfy and very good shower. The fridge was extremely noisy so after checking that nothing would be damaged, we switched it off when we went to bed. The previous occupants had left rubbish in a cupboard which hadn't been removed but apart from that, the room was spotless. It's a shame that you have to ask at reception for a hairdryer and they aren't available in the rooms but I can understand that. We will certainly stay again.

A short walk away from Huddersfield Railway Station. Very friendly staff. The room was a little cold on entry, but turning up the very efficient radiators soon warmed it up. Good water pressure for the bath and shower. The breakfast and service in the morning was good.

The minibar fridge noise was mildly annoying, but otherwise I got a good night's sleep. The shower fittings were a little cheap - not a problem from an aesthetic perspective but it did take me a while to pluck up the courage to twist the controls enough to get it going, for fear of breaking them. All fine once it got going, though.

Very welcoming, the room and bathroom were cosy, clean and perfect for our stay. The little extras like toiletries and bathrobes were lovely and not cheap stuff either. The robes even fitted big girls like me! The hotel is laid out perfectly (we called it the tardis, was bigger than it looks). There was no interruptions from other guests, didn't even realise there were other guests until sunday morning breakfast time.

Internet is a bit slow and unreliable so I had to hot-spot my laptop to my phone. Saturday morning breakfast was perfect, but Sunday could have done with an extra member of staff, the poor lad was struggling to clear and lay tables and serve all the guests, but he was great, kept calm and made perfect coffees.

Rooms are comfortable and look lovely, bed was comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Bathrooms clean, with small toiletries provided. Minibar in room.

Lighting and position of mirrors not ideal when doing make up, have stayed twice and mirrors too high in bathroom in both rooms and lighting not bright enough over larger mirror in room, could do with a little vanity light. Breakfast choices ok, but only offer turkey bacon with full English!

The location was perfect, right near the high street, close to all amenities. The hotel was very nice to look at, and incredibly comfortable to stay in. The room was incredibly spacious, the television was fantastic, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

The shower was incredibly difficult to operate, the face of the fan was cracked (but when I brought this to their attention they promised to sort it immediately). Aside from that, absolutely no complaints
