Lovely building converted into a hotel with each of the 10 bedrooms rooms having their own style. The staff were excellent and our room was very comfortable. There appeared to be sufficient parking on the days we were there. We didn’t eat in the evening there but the dining room looked amazing.

The breakfast lacked a little. Being a 5 star hotel the choice of breakfast items and its availability was limited, but what there was was freshly cooked. The breakfast area is shared with non hotel residents and so extras - such as a croissant were at an additional charge.

The hotel was a last minute booking, notwithstanding this it was literally superb. The staff were extremely helpful and professional upon our arrival and thought our stay, the room was very clean and all the furniture, furnishings and condiments were to a very high standard. I couldn’t recommend the hotel more highly. If we visit Huddersfield again we would certainly stay here again. The absolute icing on the cake was the presence of EV charging for residents, great at the end of a long day, removing the anxiety of locating a charger in an unfamiliar town. And they were free to use. A gem of a hotel!

What a gem! From the welcoming staff, superb service ( the staff go out of their way to be friendly and ensure you have the best possible stay). The room was beautiful and comfortable. Bar staff were excellent ( thanks Kai) Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the nights we stayed but breakfast was one of the very best I’ve had anywhere. The whole hotel is spotless. I would highly recommend the Manor House to anyone.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, and roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfast. The breakfast is , and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Also, the almond croissant is amazing, too! The room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

From the warm welcome by the friendly staff, the decor and scent as you enter the lobby, the personalised walk by staff to your room, the little touches like the homemade fudge on arrival and the facilities were very extensive and homely. Staff were all amazing and so friendly. Couldn’t fault it. Would 100% recommend and look forward to returning soon

Nothing ... the only small thing was the heating was not fully working as it should in the main bedroom and a small heater had been put in which was a little noisy but nothing that is a big issue.

The staff were welcoming, helpful, and really knew their stuff. Our room (number 10) was just beautiful, every feature oozed quality and the whole room was immaculately clean. We dined elsewhere in the evening, so I can't attest to their dinner menu. However, the breakfast was amazing - in the quality of ingredients, their preparation, and presentation - and the friendly staff happily accommodated special additions/changes to our dishes. It's been an altogether wonderful experience. 10/10.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The service was incredible. Amelia was welcoming and showed us to our rooms. The beds were amazing, the showers lovely and hot. We had access to some lovely toiletries. You can cast to the TV to show whatever you want. The food at breakfast was lovely - had toast and yoghurt which was obviously very good quality.

Bed was comfy and the showing was very large, not sure about the coffee machine though not as enjoyable as I would have expected. We did enjoyed the breakfast very much. Staff were very good and attentive.

Due to the wind the windows made thudding noises all night which meant we did not get a good nights sleep.

Superb accommodation and lovely welcoming team. Good breakfast choice and the waitress was super friendly and helpful. Dinner was of exceptional quality and service top notch. Bar was good, and busy on our Friday late afternoon. Lovely touches in the room, nice decor and very large bathroom - it was just a shame that our room (no 6) was on the front of the building and facing a very busy road so there was a fair amount of traffic noise. We would certainly stay again, just not in room 6.
