the receptionist on my visit was fantastic , very welcoming and friendly! lovely hotel, nice facilities , excellent value for money.

annoying to have to pay for parking which wasnt clear when i booked the room. and i had to pay a fee to use the pool which again wasnt clear on booking.

Loved this hotel from the minute we got there to the minute we left, couldn't fault thing. Really nice hotel nice decor, spacious, clean and modern. Staff couldnt be more helpful. It's the little things that count on a hotel stay imo and nice touches like cookies and chocolate pots for my daughter in the room white company shower gels and creams proper coffee pod machine with a fresh milk machine in the corridor.robes for us all to use for our stay. We had supper in the restaurant and that was amazing couldnt fault it service was spot on. The spa facilities were really good and are really nice and clean. Overall amazing stay couldnt say 1 bad thing and cant wait to come back when we next travel

Lovely serving staff at breakfast, always accomodating and friendly. I have a food intolerance, and I was very well looked after. Thankyou, this alleviated a lot of anxiety for me and I appreciate the effort made.

Booking breakfast times was a bit of a hassle, especially when the restaurant was not at capacity but other colleagues received pushback from front of house when trying to sit together at the one table, when they had different booking times. I understand the need for organising the times to keep the service running smoothly, and feel that staff could be more accommodating when there was no issue seating everyone and lots of tables still free.

The room was lovely, great space. The fridge and tea/ coffee provision was excellent. Once paid a small fee for the spa, we could go any time during our stay and the gym was very good and well sized and the pool / jacuzzi/ steam room / sauna was lovely.

Parking was a bit confusing and staff tried to charge us twice for the spa, but did refund us once the error was realised. Restaurant was too expensive for us. Near a large shopping centre and other options there for food.

Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa, the staff, facilities and food were amazing. Especially the breakfast staff, also Laura and her team in the restaurant at night. They could not do enough for you. The swimming pool was a good size and so very clean. All the rooms were of an excellent size. We were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost, by the manager. The suite was truly wonderful. I will be back to Thorpe Park next time I need to stay in this area.

I cannot fault anyone or anything at the Thorpe park Hotel and Spa, they all went above and beyond normal standards.

Family room was lovely and extra effort put in by leaving a child's robe and 'goodie' bag was brilliant. Tea/coffee facilities and a carton of juice for the little one too! Pool and spa facilities very good and well maintained. Evening meal in the restaurant was a very nice experience and staff paid a lot of attention to us. All staff we met were very polite and willing to assist us (even found some DVD's to watch for our 10 year old!)

A slightly later check out time would have been appreciated and clearer information in the room about breakfast times as we missed the 9.30am cut off time thinking it was actually a later time we had seen advertised....but this was just a very limited menu in the conservatory.

The hotel in itself is absolutely stunning, it is featured with many different facilities, making sure you have a relaxing time there. The staff members were nothing other than exceptional. Even from walking in, the ladies on the front desk were very helpful and friendly to me and my partner and through the night when we needed help with something and a gentleman at the desk assisted us with it. The spa and restaurant staff as well. We both have never felt as relaxed as we did and it is the perfect stay for anyone looking for a day or few of peace and relaxation. I couldn’t credit this hotel anymore, we will definitely be staying again soon and I’ll continue to recommend family & friends here. Thankyou all for our stay!

Great hotel, comfortable, well layed out and spacious on the whole. Excellent breakfasts - the vegetarian option was superb. Great staff. Secure parking though at an additional charge.

No sockets in room near bed so you have to plug phones in on the other side of the room, which is fine until you get up bleary-eyed to turn off your alarm and trip down the step to the part of the room where the sofa/desk is. Is this a design detail? Bonkers if so and will obviously make that part of the room unusable to some guests. Maybe just like that in the room I had? Screen mirroring on the TV was locked out so you're stuck with very limited TV channels, when it would be good to watch netflix etc via the phone.

The rooms are a good size and spacious, comes with sofa, good size desk and comfortable leather chair. I really liked the dairy cow a fantastic innovative idea of having a milk stand on each floor so guests can have fresh milk, to help focus on reduction of plastics. I also loved the proper big mugs for tea and coffee and also a take away cups if you wanted to make a drink for your journey. All thought out really well. Even a water stand on each floor so you can fill up. All rooms come with fridges. The swimming pool, steam and sauna are good size and staff are very friendly - its open to locals and hotel guests and open until 10pm at night. Breakfast in the room was really good and hearty. As was dinner too. Homemade local produce cookies are nice. Also the shower gel/shampoo are white company and you can buy if you like. Parking free for hotel guests.

I think the swimming pool area could be a little more clean, regularly cleaning is required and a lot of water on the tiles so that could be better managed. The Spa was broken on the 1st day and 2nd day the temp was too hot - so they need to control that. I had the Chicken Chasseur for dinner twice once in the room, once in restaurant and both were very different, I preferred the in room one - so some consistency is required there.

Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Space to work and small seating area separate from the bed was lovely. Coffee, tea etc in the room was an excellent quality. Fridge, safe, robes and slippers, all provided. Loved the breakfast, fresh croissant, fresh coffee and hot breakfast to order. The staff were great and so helpful.

The lighting in the room was a little sparse. Could have done with a little more around the work area. The shower was a bit hit and miss, hot then cold, not a big problem, possibly something to do with the pressure. I reported it to reception.
