A good hotel which I will probably visit again. The room was very comfortable, quiet and spacious. I can't comment on the food as I didn't have breakfast or dinner there, but the bar was a nice relaxing place in the evening. The location initially appears a little strange, in the middle of a business park, and although it isn't city centre it does offer significant advantages. The most notable is the good transport links with regular buses into Leeds. Cross Gates and Garforth stations are also nearby, which might be useful. I can't comment on the leisure facilities as I was only there for 2 nights, but will almost certainly explore next time.

We stayed overnight while travelling north from Surrey to Shetland. Extensive modern hotel located on the eastern city outskirts, with easy connection to the motorway network. Clean, tidy, and comfortable room with all the expected facilities. Good restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and engaging. They proved themselves also effective and efficient when a poor attempt was made to steal one of our motorbikes from the car park. While we were alerted by the motion sensor on the tracker unit, the offenders were seen by staff, interrupted, and made off, the police notified, and alternative, more secure location identified for overnight parking. They could not have acted more effectively. We would return and recommend.

the receptionist on my visit was fantastic , very welcoming and friendly! lovely hotel, nice facilities , excellent value for money.

annoying to have to pay for parking which wasnt clear when i booked the room. and i had to pay a fee to use the pool which again wasnt clear on booking.

The spa treatments were top notch. Very relaxing atmosphere. The jacuzzi area around the pool was perfect. I used the functional studio myself to do some yoga and stretching with the foam roller in the studio: and it was a perfect space. The food was perfect as well. Breakfast very nice. I did enjoy the child-free enviroment in the pool area (just the phase of life I'm in as children now in their 20s).

The functional fitness centre was too cold for yoga and I tried to adjust the temp myself but couldn't get the AC off. It is used a spin studio as well and needs to be cool so it is good for spin. I'm not used to couples wandering around in bathrobes when most people there were fully dressed...that is a bit weird. I can understand being at Stobo Castle where everyone is in bath robes, but not sure about it when only a few in robes. But obviously this is a new thing, happy for the couples to be happy.

- Friendly, attentive staff. Really cared about us having a good stay. Opened the bar for us after it had closed. - Fantastic spa facilities which seemed to be popular with locals. - Clean, modern decor throughout the hotel and everything felt really well looked after. - Cosy room had everything we needed and you couldn’t hear the motorway which we were worried about before booking. - The location next to the M1 made it so easy for us to continue our travels. - The White Company toiletries gave the room a premium touch. - Buffet breakfast had a good range of items.

Minor point - uncomfortable pillows.

Room was just fine , although tea and coffee hadn’t been refilled for our second day . No biscuits for day 2 either . Breakfast was excellent with multi choice of foods and beverages . Extremely disappointed that you now charge to use the Spa facilities . A swim in your lovely pool is always lovely , but not at £30 for the two of us . The whole idea of staying in a Spa hotel is that such facilities are included in the price . I’m a member at the North Lakes Hotel at Penrith . I’m going to enquire if they are doing the same ?

Great location and exceptional staff

Lack of security. I returned to the hotel late last night. I was able to enter the hotel, and go onto the 3rd floor where my room was without being questioned or use my key to gain access to the building. My concern is, anyone could have accessed the hotel without question Other hotels I have frequented, I have needed to use my key access to enter the main part of the hotel and the lifts ( which were no working during our stay ) there for maybe something which could be considered. I loved our stay, but thought this maybe worth mentioning.

Loved this hotel from the minute we got there to the minute we left, couldn't fault thing. Really nice hotel nice decor, spacious, clean and modern. Staff couldnt be more helpful. It's the little things that count on a hotel stay imo and nice touches like cookies and chocolate pots for my daughter in the room white company shower gels and creams proper coffee pod machine with a fresh milk machine in the corridor.robes for us all to use for our stay. We had supper in the restaurant and that was amazing couldnt fault it service was spot on. The spa facilities were really good and are really nice and clean. Overall amazing stay couldnt say 1 bad thing and cant wait to come back when we next travel

Being charged extra for spa and swimming even though we were staying guests.Charging guests for parking.Most places that are similar do not charge these as separate Guests should be given full access as part of the cost per night.Breakfast too high at 19.99 pounds as guests at the rate of the room per night, it should include breakfast or charge less.

Breakfast was great, we ate in the restatement for 2 nights. Although food was excellent the waiting time on the first night was long (new menu, teething problems) but we was offered a discount. This hotel exceeded our expectations and I've already recommended to friends and family. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel, great nights sleep. Will be booking your hotel in Manchester (Cottons) for the Corrie Tour and I'm sure we'll be just as impressed 😁
