The room and car park

Underneath chrome tap head filthy you can see it sat on toilet . Dark guy cleaning restaurant did not acknowledge my 2 smiles he worked at turtle pace , tables were filthy , surrounding us , he’d go in kitchen with 3 cups etc he was doing a lot of leg work . Give him a trolley tray . Cleaners for rooms was nice . Lad on reception was nice. We was not told we had to leave a sign for room cleaning so came back to dirty towels stinking bin bed unmade etc he apologised said he forgot to tell us . Mattress was lumpy not as nice as premier inn . Breakfast was cooked perfect , not enough fruit and pastry variety no orange juice 2 days no flavoured yoghurts , coffee machine pretty much not good .

It's just great ❤️ it's the best place to get away from daily routine for a couple of days ❤️ you literally have everything you need there 😊 We stayed many times before but this weekend was the first time we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and let me tell you it was really really good. Apart from that, the staff is very polite, kind, helpful.... All I have left to say is a big THANK YOU ❤️

It has nothing to do with the hotel....but I hope the right people see this.... The lake behind the hotel was a total disappointment.... it's such a pity that such a beautiful lake is so filthy....if council or whoever deals with the maintenance of the lake would keep the area clean and would invest a little bit that could turn into an amazing place that people could go to relax

Although located close to a motorway, it was exceptionally quiet and had grounds that you could walk in behind the hotel. Upon arriving at reception, we were greeted by Claire who was extremely pleasant and it felt as if we have been using the hotel for a long time as her greeting was friendly and very welcoming. Outstanding. We decided to eat at the hotel because the prices seemed extremely reasonable and we were not disappointed. We used the restaurant for two nights and each of our meals were cooked fresh and were beautifully hot. We had the opportunity to chat with Donna who also was extremely pleasant and treated us as if we were regular visitors. Not only were the rooms clean and spacious, the quality of the staff we met were not the usual attitude of a corporate hotel chain but more akin to a small family hotel. Totally recommended. Our special thanks to Claire and Donna who made our stay even more memorable.

Generally, we had nothing to complain about. If we had to pick one thing, our day of departure (and when Donna was not on shift), the buffet breakfast was left a little sparse (due to a large group being in before us) and we had to ask for to have various items to be replenished. There were a couple of items that were not available in the hot buffet which was disappointing. The staff on duty didn’t seem too proactive to keep the area ‘topped up’.

Staff were brilliant, I lost my phone on my first day in Leeds and all the staff I talked to were very helpful in helping me try to find it before I left Room was amazing. Friend was meant to join but cancelled last minute so absolutely massive if you're by yourself. Maybe it's because I am from Edinburgh, but the bar felt amazingly cheap And honestly the greatest thing is that there is a 24h McDonalds nearby *laughing emoji*

Location isn't the best as it's basically part of a service station, so similiar to where you'd expect to see a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn. I knew it was outside the centre but didnt realise its also away from public transport so I had to use taxis. If you have a car, it's worth it, but if you don't, might be worth spending an extra £40-50 for a more central location.

The staff were very pleasant, friendly and were happy to help with any queries. There wasn't enough milk in the rooms (4 teabags, 6 coffee but only 4 sachets of milk), but more was provided when asked. Good shower, clean room. Comfortable beds.

Although the shower was good the shower head was very small for the size of the shower, it felt like you had to stand close to the wall to be under the water, because there was also no proper door on the shower, only a glass panel, water went all over the floor. Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast and nice enough however it was cold and I had to ask for it to be warmed in the microwave. No biscuits in the rooms.

Ocation was perfect as it was in a large service area where close to my relative. My elderly mum in law, my husband, our dog and we stayed in a same room. Our room was big, clean and quiet. All staff was very nice and kind. Back of the hotel was a large green area which was perfect for our dog to take a walk. Price of the room was incredibly reasonable for what they offered (with breakfast). We highly recommend this hotel.

One thing for me was their pillow was too high for me. But I could had taken my pillow, so won't be problem if we decide to stay the hotel again.

Location is good. Facilities in the services are excellent. Parking is good. Outdoor seating at the hotel is great. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Staff are friendly and helpful. They love our dog.

It was very noticeable this time that generally there’s lots of rubbish at the location. There’s a door at the front of the hotel where staff obviously smoke and there’s cigarette ends all over the floor. The outdoor seating area at the back of the hotel is also untidy with rubbish and cigarette ends. Lots of rubbish everywhere at the services and every bin overflowing with rubbish.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and airy and although we travelled as a family we didn't feel on top of each other. There was the open area out the back of the bar/services with the park which was great for the children to run around and play after being stuck in the car and for myself to relax.

The breakfast was a little chaotic but i think we went at a busier time. There wasn't any staff directing us over or seating us and as myself and the children all went together when we returned we had to find a different table. The food was OK but if I went again I'd probably see if there was breakfast available in the services next door instead.

Your staff are excellent,Claudia on reception was lovely,as was the lady in the kitchen and Jane on reception,so helpful considering they were so busy

Corridor carpet was stained very badly,our room was very dusty,you can see the dust,carpet had food and bits on snd looked like it hadn’t been hoovered,bedding was so creased that I folded duvet down to see if he’d was dirty as I didn’t look like it had been changed.Outside our window the laundry was piled up from the Friday when we got there and more was added until we left on Sunday open to anything that wanted to run through it.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was as expected for the price, bed was comfy and it was easy to control the room temp. I loved the outside grounds, lovely walking area and brilliant play area for the kids which was good to run off some evening energy. Breakfast was all you can eat and great that it was included in the price with the room (as was the parking), my kids took full advantage of the all you can eat and the food overall was pretty good.

It's the little touches that could have made a difference. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room but no mugs or spoons if we had wanted to use. The TV worked but the remote didn't. The shower screen was awful and so much water went on the floor, seems like a design issue or not suitable for children who move around a lot!! At breakfast there was no cutlery except for teaspoons and the entire time no cutlery was replenished so we used tea spoons for everything. The glasses for the juice/water were dirty, as were some of the plates.
