Lovely looking hotel, spacious and welcoming. The room was a nice size and lovely and clean. The facilities were spacious with nice extras such as glasses in the bathroom and complimentary toiletries. There was also a mini fridge with water, coke and kitkats, which was a nice touch. Most importantly the bed was large and comfy and the view at night across Leeds was amazing. We had a lovely stay.

The wait staff on the bar and some of the breakfast staff were quite frankly miserable. Not a smile in sight which was not very welcoming. The reception staff were nice as were the breakfast reception staff and cleaning staff but not the rest. Also at the breakfast buffet the plates were cold and so breakfast went cold very quickly. Lastly one of the key cards did not work and as we were leaving I heard another party complaining of the same thing so this looks like a problem that needs looking into as it is very annoying when you go up to the 10 floor with all your cases and can’t get into your room, it got sort quickly though. But overall all we did have a good stay.

Rooms could do with a bit of an update as they are looking a bit tired - e.g. mattresses aren't great - Premier Inns ones are much better, tiling in bathroom was stained and chipped as well and it didn't seem as modern as the rest of the room. The carpet in the bedroom was stained and the curtain pole fell off the wall whilst I was staying - which the team said they would fix. Also a shame that they didn't have yorkshire tea in a yorkshire hotel!

Separate GF area at breakfast including separate toaster, wrapped bread etc. Breakfast selection. Bath in room, not just shower. Powerful water flow with very hot water. Comfort of bed/bedding. Helpfulness of staff.

GF not marked on restaurant or bar menus. Couldn’t order until someone went to kitchen to ask chef what could be prepared GF. No proper decaf coffee at breakfast-just powdered. Grouting on tiles in bathroom needed cleaned/touched-up (room 504). Bedroom lighting a bit odd. Booking.com said 450yds to Armouries. It is much further and possibly not a walk to be undertaken after dark!

Because the online check in didn't work at all, I had to call various people while at Leeds festival to try and check in over the phone so as not to lose the room. One gentleman was so lovely and helpful, truly amazing. Didn't grab his name unfortunately but he's the best.

When we got to the hotel we were told that we had to check in before 1am due to Leeds festival otherwise the room would be given away. Considering we were there for the festival and we wouldn't have been able to get back in time for that, it would've been nice to know this policy before. Online check in an absolute mess too

The location was good. We came to Leeds for a concert so within walking distance of the arena. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast very nice though I’m not sure what the red sauce was that I put on my breakfast but I don’t think it was tomato sauce . The price was good.

I booked the room as it had a bath. However it’s not a type of bath you can soak in very shallow . The tile grout was dirty and you could tell that the housekeepers not only don’t clean the grout but around taps, warnings and shampoo bottles. The hairdryer was broken and the aerial in the tv was not a good connection.

Great central location and staff on reception were really friendly. The main reception staff were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We stayed for 2 nights for a festival. Great overnight stay and had what we needed. We didn’t expect our room to be cleaned but when we came back from our festival we found our bed had been made which was lovely after a long day.

Not the hotels fault but lots of bad customers staying, high presence of police on 2 occasions. Aggressive guests. And frequently could smell weed walking through halls to rooms. Not respectful at all. In addition I have coeliac disease and found the Restaurant staff very un interested or helpful, when I queried if the gluten free hot food was cooked separately I was met with a comment of “ it’s Gluten free so obviously” Although there was a dedicated area for some gluten free items. Although I checked the allergens I was poorly after eating on both occasions so I suspect there is high cross contamination in the kitchen. An offer to make a separate breakfast for me would have been exceptional customer care. Unfortunately this will put me off rebooking here unless processes change.

We checked out yesterday morning after spending 3 wonderful nights at Leonardo Hotel Leeds, and I can honestly say it was an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help. A special shoutout to Femi, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay extra enjoyable — his kindness and attention to detail really stood out. We were kindly offered complimentary breakfast and bottled water, which was such a thoughtful touch. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and just what you’d expect from a quality 4-star hotel — clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The breakfast was also a highlight — so many lovely options to choose from each morning. It was the perfect way to start the day. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Leonardo Hotel Leeds to anyone visiting the city and looking for a convenient, welcoming place to stay. Huge thanks to the entire team, especially Femi, for making us feel so at home. We’ll definitely be returning!

Great location right by the river and a short walk over a footbridge to the city centre. Clean, comfortable rooms and a comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. We had a great view of the river and city from the 8th floor. Reception staff allowed us to check in early and were very helpful and polite throughout our stay

No car park at the hotel- parking is at the Royal armouries/ dockside which is a 6-8 minute walk away but very reasonably priced with the hotel discount (£8 per 24 hours at the time of writing compared to £36 at another car park in the city centre)

The receptionist was very welcoming and chatty with us.She gave us an upgrade to the executive suite and also vouchers for complimentary drinks.The room on the 10th floor was perfect.We had all the comforts you would expect from the executive suite.unfortunately we only stayed one night but could have stayed longer.The room was spotless,the bed really comfortable and the bathroom suite looked new.We parked in the multi story car park at the hotel reduced rate,it only took 10minutes to walk there.We would definitely stay here again when we revisit Leeds Excellent value for money,a great find.

Very nice hotel. The location is excellent, and the views from the room were excellent. The lobby is clean and very nicely laid out. Was such a great place to relax when you didn't want to be in the room. The facilities in the room were very good for the amount we paid for the room. We had a seamless check-in and nothing was too much trouble for the team there. Loved the location to the city centre and the pubs and clubs would definitely recommend.

There wasn't much we didn't like, but if I was to mention a couple of points that my partner and I did notice, the lighting in the room is a little odd. It is probably meant to be ambient, which is fine for when relaxing, but a brighter option for when needed would have been useful. The only other thing we felt was a bit lacklustre was the breakfast which was rather underwhelming.
