The hotel is located perfectly next to the train station which was great for us. The lobby is gorgeous, very plush and comfortable. The majority of staff were friendly. It was great to be able to store our bags before and after we checked in. It was a special occasion so very nice to be upgraded to a better room on check-in.

Some of the party wanted drinks when we arrived at 11 and the bar was only at 12 so I feel like you're missing a trick by not opening a little earlier. My sister was hoping to use the gym but thought it was a little small and with no air con so I don't think she ended up using in. We had a slight issue at check in whereby our bags were put in the incorrect rooms and the name on the booking for two nights was wrong but we got it sorted. I couldn't access any apps of the tv or connect my phone to it but it wasn't too big an issue.

Good location, easy to get to. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable.

The lift took ages. After waiting outside for it to check out for 10 minutes we gave up and took the stairs. The queue to check out was very large and slow. We wanted to get the discount on our car parking at the train multi-story but also ended up leaving this as it would have taken so long to get to the reception desk. The aircon controller was difficult to work and the lighting was made up of a series of lamps which were nice at bed time but not very bright for getting ready. Couldn't get the TV to work easily either. On balance though we liked the hotel and our stay.

We got a free upgrade which was a lovely surprise when we checked in. The city views did not disappoint either. The bed was super comfy, my only regret was not having enough time to spend in the room. I'm from Leeds & had always wanted to stay at The Queens Hotel & it did not disappoint.

Everything was perfect! I dont think there was anything not to like. At a push I'd say an additional mirror in the bedroom would've been great however there were 2 in total, one in the bathroom & another in the bedroom with amazing lighting around it.

The breakfast options and quality were very good. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel is very impressive in size and style - but could do with some sprucing up internally. The exterior obviously suffers with discolouration due to the pollution from vehicles and cleaning it would no doubt be expensive and require regular attention. The room/en-suite sizes were good. Windows were the old metal frames with a newer internal secondary glazed unit. Needs new double glazed units - presumably required to meet existing styling of the original windows. Overall I thought the price a little high for the package provided!

Needs smartening up to give a crisper cleaner look!

Bedroom was lovely and the staff were fabs but felt the stay and price could have covered least 2 breakfasts should have included especially paid £295 for 3 nights. 2 breakfasts would have been more then enough since we checked in at 7ish due to been busy with a dog and traffic getting to town due to the upcoming pride event on the weekend.

Paying a little too much and breakfast not included for what it was. But everything else was lovely and would book again for least 1 night before my boyfriend goes back to Crete in mid August minus my dog as would have him in kennels in future given we didn’t have much time to dedicate our stay as a couple properly. 🌹✨☕️

Large very comfortable bed in a spacious clean room.,with a well equipped bathroom, although due to mobility problems, I had difficultly in accessing the bath, so that I could use the shower. I enjoyed the hot buffet breakfast. There was good choice of tables. Tables were cleared rapidly after use. The staff seemed happy and there were always sufficient numbers.. The hotel has a very impressive entrance. The hotel is adjacent to Leeds City station. There an excellent selection of pubs and bars.within a short walk. I will use this hotel for future visits to Leeds

I found the back ground music at breakfast not overpowering but boring. The high step into the bath

I had booked a comfort double room but was given a free upgrade to a King Suite which was very nice. It had a separate lounge and bedroom area and a lovely comfortable large bed. I was attending a work conference at the hotel so it was in the perfect location. Surprisingly quiet at night given that it is in the city centre. The hotel is a lovely art deco style and the room service food was good.

Not the hotels fault but the ongoing major construction work on the road between the railway station and hotel is a nuisance (until I found out there is a direct access door into the back of the hotel from the station - maybe this could be communicated pre arrival?). It was quite difficult to set the air con in the room as it seemed to be VERY cold, especially in the bedroom part of the room. Even when I switched it off, it continued to blow cold air out all night.

Was greeted by amazing front of house team the gentleman was particulary friendly and accommodating . Although we only had a short break away i did see that the hotel was accepting and welcoming guest from all walks of life which really warmed my heart 🫶such as hosting events for BSL,some sort of employee awards , and welcomed guest for the great pride event . This hotel was also accepting of homeless letting them take shelter under outside reception area where other hotels may of moved them on ( they wasn’t causing a problem they just wanted to stay dry from the rain .

The hotel itself is lovely - common areas are good and amenities nice and clean. The check in and cleaning staff were pleasant and the room was restocked with a good level of tea, coffee, biscuits, water. The location is great - we came by train and it’s right at the station. Super convenient for everything central.

The room was very small - we had booked a cosy double so weren’t expecting it to be huge but for the amount paid for two nights, it wasn’t the best value for money. On returning to the hotel on a Saturday about 11pm, the doorman very aggressively asked us if we were staying at the hotel before he would let us in. This felt intimidating and he didn’t challenge the next guest to come in behind us. Obviously we didn’t fit the aesthetic the hotel expected.

The perfect hotel and ambience, in a perfect location. We loved it and our stay was made even more special when we were upgraded to a suite! A lovely surprise, particularly as we were away for my husband's Birthday!

The light controls meant that when making the morning tea, you had to put all the main ceiling lights on to see, which meant bright lights in the bedroom where my husband was still relaxing. I was also a bit disappointed that no oat milk was provided after me requesting it, twice in advance via messages through Booking.com. Surely a small jug of it could have been put in the fridge below the tea//coffee making station? Some cushions would have been nice for the chairs on the terrace. They weren't the most comfortable!
