The central location was excellent. I was unexpectedly attending a conference just a few hundred yards away and didn’t expect to find a hotel in the city centre at such short notice. The price was very good. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful whenever I needed to ask a question. There weren’t any of the wholly insincere, scripted ‘corporate pleasantries’ than I have come to expect when staying at chain hotels. This makes a huge difference to me.

Nothing to dislike really, I was quite happy with all aspects of my stay (3 nights).

without asking for it I got a lovely room on 15th floor with a phenomenal view of the City's Central Railway Station District. My Windows faced east, this meant that at 5 to six I was fully awake just before sunset, then the Room was fully lit and this makes me an early bird, which normally at home a I am NOT the least... in this case it prove beneficial, since I needed to attend a tournament and play at 09:30, and by waking up such early I had plenty of time preparing, showering, having breakfast and have an additional Espresso at WOLFox's outside Wellington as well. Despite Marches & Parades going on this weekend, the room was perfectly quiet. at breakfast defo ask for fried eggs sunny side up, they are available, but not directly at the buffet, otherwise rich choice of Continental cold cuts like Chorizo, ham and Mackerel, really nice!

No brush available to remove unsavoury stains in the bathroom, very embarrassing ...

This hotel was very nice. The staff were nice. The location was good. The hotel was very clean. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed sheet, pillow cases, and blanket were all clean. The towels also were very clean. I was very satisfied and impressed with the cleanliness. The breakfast was very good, it was a buffet with a variety of food to choose, and it was only £10. I was very happy with my stay.

The lift took forever to arrive. There were no bin and towel rack in the bathroom, it would be nice to have them. The shower and sink drains were slightly clogged since the day I checked-in. I wished the hair dryer could be a bit powerful.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The entire property was very clean and well-maintained, with obvious attention to detail. The staff were excellent—friendly, helpful, and professional. I misplaced one of my belongings during my stay and mentioned it to the front desk; housekeeping followed up quickly and contacted me once they found it. I was able to pick it up after work, which I really appreciated. The room itself was spotless—everything was tidy, and even the area under the bed was immaculate, which you don’t often see. Overall, a very positive experience!

Can't think of anything.

The staff were great, always at hand and very helpful and the room was big and clean and it was quiet. The location opposite the station was perfect. Excellent value for money .

The mattress was a little hard and the furniture was mismatched . It also felt they used continental European naming conventions where the last name comes first which made the digital check in confusing (and it wouldn't load for me any way. The telly also had a welcome message with my name the wrong way round and my surname repeated. Not a big deal but something quite visible and hopefully easy to fix.

The room was spotless and very comfortable, with beautiful toiletries in the bathroom. You won't need to bring shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or body lotion. All ESPA products and just gorgeous! Also 2 hairdryers to avail off, and lovely bath sheets in the bathroom. We opted for no housekeeping as we were only there for 2 x days and in replace of this we got 2 x free drinks in the bar (worth £18) If you are getting the bus to and from the airport, the bus stops right outside the hotel coming into the City Centre and just across the road on the way back to the airport. Highly recommend staying in this hotel.

Everything was absolutely spot on!

Great location to the train station.leeds Market. Corner exchange.elland Road football stadium.leeds utd ground..Merrion centre .St John's mall.trinity shopping mall. All in the area.of the city centre.

Drunken people staying over for the Bank Holiday weekend spilling beer in the lift area of the hotel.should have a decent security or door man on at these times.dont mind partying. But was a bit too loud for my son who is autistic so he stayed up in his room resteraunt was closed-circuit the easter holidays.and eating down stairs in the bar area was a problem regarding loud voices making not to good a choice to just have a quiet meal.. needs to be looked at.for alternative option.

We booked this hotel last year and got it at a very good price. It's ideal for its location to the city centre. We came by bus and it's only a short walk from the bus stop on city square. We arrived around lunchtime, but check-in isn't until 3pm. As a result, we were allowed to check in our bags in the storage area until check-in was available. This allowed us to wander round for a few hours without the need to carry our bags around. We didn't choose breakfast when we booked, due to the price of £17.99pp, and wetherspoons just round the corner. However, at check-in, we were given the option to book breakfast at a discounted rate of £10pp. We.opted in, and it was very nice. All you can eat full English, continental, cereals, toast, juice, tea & coffee. Certainly got our moneys worth. The room was lovely. We was on the 12th floor, and had a lovely view over City Square. Massive comfortable bed, nice bathroom, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, and a small fridge. I'd also informed the hotel it was my 50th birthday, so they'd left me a card and a box of 4 chocolates, which I can only assume came from Hotel Chocolat, from around the corner. Plenty of tea and coffee as well. Check-out was just the same. We didn't need to rush off home, so we were allowed to put our bags in the holding area until we were ready to go home.

I wasn't a big fan of the frosted bathroom door or the big mirrored bathroom panel. The shower is a bit complicated to work at first. You don't know which dial to turn to turn on the water or for the overhead shower. Once sorted, it's not that bad. The hotel shower gel was also empty (points lost) I reported this to reception as we was leaving the hotel for the evening, and by the time we got back, it had been replaced (points redeemed). I wasn't a fan of the coffee at breakfast. It was far too strong. Even after 3 sugars, it was still strong enough that you could probably paint your fence with it.

The airport bus stops in front of the hotel (City Station stop, don't be fooled, you are there but the entrance is round the corner to he right). Unlike many hotels they were willing to take a Sainsbury delivery in reception (my loose Yorksire Gold tea), but it was Sainsbury's who let me down.

The lifts can take a while at busy times, there are about 20 floors. Also best to use the electronic checkin if possible because queues can build up at reception, though this time the necessary internet connection on arrival seized up, so I was lucky there was no queue. Checkout online worked a treat, however.

The Location is excellent, right on City Square close to everything. The Airport bus stops right outside the door. Disappointing that the hotel bar is only open to 11pm during the week; for guests staying in the hotel a 12 midnight would be a nice touch. Rooms a bit dated but clean. Pillows not great but for a 2 night stay it was fine. We had a nice view over the square, and the staff were so helpful when our flight was delayed arriving - they helped me check in using the WhatsApp feature. Really helpful and reassuring- Andra was great. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.
