Beautiful place.. liked having rooms separate from pub area. Lovely host very friendly and helpful. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of parking. Nice location off main road.

But of confusion on info - website a little confusing (a lot going on) and had slightly different info then info in room. Ie check out - one said 10 and other said 10.30. Would be nice to have more teabags in room as only had one in there. Didn't realize breakfast was an option.. wasn't obvious on site or on booking but was on info in room.. glad we saw it and got it. Water works between rooms a bit noisy

The room was a good size we only stayed for the night but we would come back here again the bed was comfortable and they had good sized complementary tea and coffees it's a lovely place with nice staff that are helpful the breakfast was amazing it was freshly cooked. The place in it self was beautiful it's not hidden as such but it's very quiet and peaceful. You also have free WiFi within the room.

Nothing it was amazing

This is the COMFIEST bed I've ever slept in in a hotel!!!! Wish I knew what the mattress was! 😂 Otherwise the room is just a fairly standard guest room at a pub. Basic, but very clean. And due to location, soooooo quiet. Had the breakfast next day which was lovely and staff were attentive and nice!

I didn't quite realise that due to location it would be best to be in a car! Fair walk to buses and staff had no idea what numbers to catch, and taxis to Huddersfield around £15. This was on me rather than on them though!

The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Our room was very comfortable and had a good nights sleep! The breakfast was excellent.

On arrival at the annex there was the smell of freshly decorated rooms. The window in our room was wide open (presumably to let the smell of paint disperse) which meant room was rather cold. It did warm up quickly once the window was closed and heating switched on.

the room was pre warmed for us and spotless a great selection of hot drinks available in the room. The staff were very welcoming and friendly we ate breakfast and it was superb. there was enertainement on every night in the pub section of the hotel. We would def stay here again and recomend it to others 10/10

Nothing to dislike about the place,the staff or the food

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plentiful supplies of tea and biscuits and bottled water. The shower was excellent ,plenty of hot water and powerful. Staff were very helpful and friendly from when we first arrived to when we left. Excellent value breakfast , local produce. Definitely will stay again.

Not that I didn't like it, but hairdryer wasn't working, and I forgot to mention it . Hot water sink tap is not working

Unfortunately I didn't have dinner or breakfast at this hotel, but rather regretting that, as the offer looked lovely. Also, I lost a necklace and the staff very kindly tried looking everywhere for it and kept me informed by phone, which I really appreciated.

Don't think I've ever come across a shower with such high water pressure, that was very interesting first thing in the morning when I dropped it, I got rather soaked, lol (in fairness though, you could adjust it and I'm not really sure this is fair to classify as a negative).

Accommodation was in a separate annexe to the main building so no noise from pub. Menu in bar had a good choice and was reasonably priced ,food was good too.. Cooked breakfast was tasty and hot, but lacking in a choice of cold items, ie yogurts, and granola.

Breakfast was aweome and the host was superb It made a lovely surprise vs staying at premier inns / travel lodge etc - to have lots of quirkyness The rooms are detahced from the pub too - which is great

Some furniture was dated

Very clean, good-sized room. Modern decor comfortable bed. Great controllable central heating.. Large TV decent Internet for guests power shower and plenty of parking. In the bar spacious, not over crowded seating. Plenty of TV areas for sport etc. Rooms fantastic value. The good selection of food that I've had was delicious. I shall definitely stop aguan when in area. Chris and Helen are great hosts the staff are all polite and professional. Mark
