I had a very enjoyable stay at Tong Park Hotel ..the staff were very helpful friendly and accommodating There was a lady serving breakfast one morning and she was absolutely super. She was so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for her she really was brilliant. The breakfast was absolutely delicious every day of our stay as was the dinner in the restaurant compliments to the chef ..I will definitely return.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable with everything you could want ..the decor could do with freshening up as the paint work looked old and was chipping away but that was the only fault ..

The hotel is in a lovely country area. We needed accommodation for me, my wife and son as we were on a university trip to Leeds but needed accommodation near Bradford to meet our son's girlfriend's parents! The room was large for all of us, and we had a great stay. It was clean and comfortable. It was a wee bit noisy when we first arrived - a wedding reception I believe - but this died out very early and wasn't an issue. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we walked along the road to a garden centre for breakfast. But, we did have a drink in the bar and that was fine - very friendly staff throughout the stay. Just make sure you register your car registration with reception so you don't pay a parking fine!! We did go for an 8km or so circular walk before heading off. Lovely countryside...

Great location, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. Easy to park. Breakfast included. Good value for an executive room. Breakfast service on weekdays was excellent, we were very impressed. 12pm checkout time was perfect.

The lift was out of order, self service breakfast on the weekend was a shambles and very stressful. The food was either non existent or over cooked. There was some disruption from a guest who had been waiting for service and food resulting in some unpleasant language and distress. We also couldn’t find staff when we needed a highchair.

This hotel is in such a quiet and peaceful location right in the country. The only reason I stayed in this hotel was because it had aircon and I needed to get out of London heatwave for the weekend. The UK hotel standard in general is very low compared to the rest of the world's hotels as majority of hotels in UK do not have aircons and across the world, having an aircon is a golden standard so I commend this hotel for having this. The property exceeded my expectations.

Everything went smoothly with no real issues at all. Only thing to add would be faster wifi and there was no hair dryer but besides that there were no complaints.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times whilst working in the area. On my last stay the room did not meet my expectation and I gave feedback around this. Only 2 weeks later, I returned and the staff had listened as the room I stayed in 104 was lovely. It was immaculately clean, had been modernised throughout and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were amazing, as always, so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious also. It was so nice to return and know that staff had listened to the previous feedback around the room and immediately rectified it. I will be returning again following this visit.

Nothing, it was a great stay

The hotel was very modern and clean. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. The public spaces were very attractive and well looked after. Very good on-site parking.

Unfortunately, the lift was out of order when we arrived. This is just one of those things, but there was no offer to have our luggage taken to the rooms. Breakfast was served with turkey bacon and beef sausages, neither of which I am particularly fond. Had I known that this was going to be the case, I would not have booked breakfast; instead, I would have traveled to a cafe or farm shop for breakfast and most likely saved money as well.

The character of both the building and location are stunning. The whole place is immaculate; the housekeeping team do a fantastic job. Staff are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate guests’ needs wherever possible. My last stay was in the midst of a snowstorm; most places were closed down, but Tong Park remained operational with a skeleton staff and I would say they were a godsend to guests at the time! The evening menu/restaurant serves some of the best food in the area and in my opinion deserves far more recognition than it currently gets. I stayed for quite a while (due to the snowstorm) and worked my way through a decent chunk of the menu day by day; each meal was delicious and it’s, again, now one of my go-to places in the area; I’ve now taken friends & family and had business meals there, with each person saying the evening menu is amazing!

The breakfast was lacking. The set-up and food available wasn’t worth the price, BUT I spoke to the management team about this and they were very open to receiving constructive feedback. Their plans for both short and long-term improvement will, I’m sure, be well received by guests in future.

We were initially put in a first floor room, and because my husband has emphysema and the lift was out of action I asked if we could have a ground floor room! And we were given an executive room at no extra cost!

We came down to reception to get a breakfast token! Unfortunately there was nobody manning reception even though we rang a couple of times! So we went through to see what was on offer, it was cereal and fruit, no meats! Again there was no one about, so we left, and instead had breakfast at Tong garden centre!

The location.

The attendant at breakfast was not very attentive. Coffee was almost empty. No bacon set out, so I asked for some, and it was delivered promptly. Our room was quite warm, making it not optimal for a good sleep. We opened the windows as wide as would allow, and moved the sheer curtains aside to allow for maximum air to enter the room. Tried to get some cool air from the air conditioner, but though it did blow some air, it was not really cool.

Arrived late due to working nearby. Great welcome on reception. Access to food was still on and had a decent meal at 9 30pm, which was great. Bar, restaurant area is spot on and modern. The gent serving us what great too. Breakfast was spot on too. Nice professional staff as was the theme throughout, good food and clean environment

Room I was in (215) is a little dated. It was clean with everything you need but showing signs of age eg carpet, windows, wall paper. Far from a deal breaker but keep an eye on it I was fine and it might just be a coincidence but the pipe work in that room seemed to make lots of noise….worth investigating further
