Obviously, this property has a shared bathroom and toilet. It was clean enough and functional. The bar stayed open late on the Saturday I stayed. The locals were very friendly and like their karaoke. I used the kitchen and the washing machine/dryer which was very convenient.

The outer door has signs saying please keep this door locked at all times, which suggests there are undesirables about. Car parking isn't secure.

Well this was a lot better than I was expecting and the location was perfect to where I wanted to be as 0.5 miles from where I was going monday evening (perpuse of visit).

The people in the room next to me as they had a full argument and where shouting at each other until 2AM (and this was when I told them to shut-up). Totally, uncontrollable by the property owner as they did not live on site.

Great value for money. Gives all facilities, and accessories - coat hangers, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with utensils, dishes and cleaning equipment. Bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, and simple.

Location is fairly unfit for anyone not travelling by car or unwilling to use public transport. Our work event was a 10 minute car ride, or a 1 hour walk. Since we had a car, travel was no issue, but make sure to check public transport connections if you plan on booking without a car. Biggest problem was that our room had the beginnings of black mould developing on the walls in the corners - though to be frank, there’s more black mould in my student accommodation than there was in these rooms.

Clean, comfortable, music now and then but to be expected.would stay again. Enjoyed! The kitchen is a bonus....

A hanger would be great in the bathroom for clothing. A Larger sign definately needed on the bathroom door ((Mind the steps)) as 2 steps immediately as you open the door..... I don't no how I didn't break my legs/Ankles/hips.. The Bathroom sign is approx 6-8 inches long..( The Mind the Step) is approx 3 inches in circumference..

Everything was outstanding! Great value for money in a nice area with friendly, down to earth locals. Its clean, comfortable and has everything you need its great self catering. Its like home away from home and its location makes it ideal to get to town to get any business done. Of course there will be noise sometimes at night but it is a pub/hotel, I'm not a party pooper and I don't mind at all :) I'd pick this hotel over others any day. Wonderful little gem.

Great value, being above a popular friendly pub you expect pub noise until closing time, so don't expect a peaceful early night. The shared kitchen was well stocked and clean as was the bathroom.

Parking was a little restricted.

Good communications. Friendly. Has bus stops outside.

My main criticism is that Saturday night is lound music night in the pub. The rooms are directly above so had trouble getting to sleep that one night. Otherwise quiet

Everything! The room was exceptional, very clean and comfortable too. Self catering is great as well as being able to come and go as you please, the location is great too, so it's easy to get to town for work etc. Staff are lovely and the locals are friendly, also amenities are close by so it has everything you need. My first choice for hotels and home away from home.

Weetbix and milk, tea / coffee, toast and spread, cooking facilities were good, dishwasher and washing machine available. It was better than I expected. I was given a key to come and go as I please, the landlady was efficient and friendly. I would certainly stay there again.

It’s a working man’s pub. But truly friendly pub. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly enough. I had Chinese from the the take away and ate it in the bar.
