The staff were great, was met with a lovely greeting and showed to my room. Had an evening meal there and it was delicious, big shout out to Alex on reception and Sue who cooked me an excellent meal, have to admit was too big for me to finish. Little side issue here! Normally when you ask for salad you get a poxy bit of lettuce one piece of tomato and cucumber, mine had about 8 items including egg and 2 sides, Thanks Sue it was brilliant. Room was adequate and very clean, well done to the whole team.

Was a couple chatting loudly all and I mean all night, but this was.no fault if the management.

Last minute booking due to not being able to stay at another booking due to it being in habitual. Manager and staff changed rooms to accommodate to what I had booked online which was cheaper. The staff were fantastic, explained everything I needed to know about the accommodation, how to order breakfast to anything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable and met all requirements. The value for price was excellent including breakfast we had in the morning was fresh and delicious. Service was polite and friendly, not rushed, patient. From going to a nightmare of a situation it lead us here and I can highly recommend this as a place to stay. Petrol garage to the side at lowest point 1.27 per litre on the day and cafe open 24hrs. We travel up that end quite a few times in the year and I will definitely come back to stay. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable and a pleasure to be there.

Absolutely nothing.

Upon arrival I did think I had booked something maybe not to the normal places I would stay ! From the outside it looked a bit shabby !. To the point of almost finding somewhere else . I had paid so I ventured in still apprehensive . Smiley welcoming lady checked me in and showed me the room. What a surprise, lovely clean room with en-suite. Ventured back down for food , again amazing scampi & chips beyond expectations. Slept great on a very comfy bed. Went for the inclusive full English breakfast. Well the breakfast was 10/10 best I’ve had in a long time, inc fresh orange& toast. The waitress was so nice and friendly ( enjoy France in the tent ) To summarise this place . NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT COVER . Absolute bargain with the best breakfast included with a smoky face. Thanks

The staff where absolutely amazing so friendly! Breakfast in morning was amazing. Nice and quiet. Quick service. Rooms very clean.

There was only a few niggles that would make it even better than what it already is aside from this i would book again. The mattress needs updating as you could feel the springs. Dogs barking out the back at 7:30 in the morning from guests for about an hour means I could not get a peacefull morning. Shower.is a little cramped so if your on the larger side you won't have much movement but water pressure is good.

Lovely place to stay, very central but nipped away on a quiet sidestreet. We stayed in the family room, which was perfect for me, my husband, and two teenagers. Very spacious room with everything you needed. Very comfortable beds, lovely continental breakfast in the room. Only one negative, but it can not be helped. We could hear the room above with the squeaky floor walking around early in the morning. Would definitely stop again.

Food was available 24/7 my favourite dish was Lambs Liver, onions, gravy, vegetables & mash absolutely fantastic. Very reasonably priced and a great location for visiting Rugby League grounds and museums in West Yorkshire. The staff react promptly to any requests. The food arrived very quickly. There was ample parking space.

The en-suite shower in my room was so small I struggled to move and could barely fit inside. Any large framed people would instead benefit from the shared bathrooms which are much wider and more generously sized.

Breakfast is incuded in the rate and there's a 24h cafe, so no chance of turning up in the restaurant at 9pm after a long day to be told the kitchen is closed, or to be told the restaurant doesn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Not a dislike, but a bit of advice. The £70 en-suite rooms are much better value than the £55 shared bathroom rooms, which are small rooms with a bad and telly. Probably a throwback to when lorry drivers stayed in these places, before sleeper cabs became common.

The room was bigger than I expected for the price, and very clean. Facilities were a tad basic, but more than you'd expect for the price asked. Breakfast is included in the price - the food is is true to it's transport cafe roots so the menu is limited, but it's served up very quickly - just don't expect an a la carte menu. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's an unpretentious place - a hotel it isn't, but it offers affordable, comfortable and friendly accommodation. If you're on a tight budget you can't go wrong choosing this place.

There wasn't anything to really dislike - but if I was being really picky it would be the lack of a soap tray in the shower.

The room I booked was the lower standard but it was perfect for my needs, small, comfortable, warm,clean and i felt safe as a single female traveller. There was enough storage for my clothes and a tv to pass the evening.The breakfast was amazing ! Probably the biggest meal ive ever set eyes on. The motel has a lovely atmosphere with many locals coming in for food, and the late bar , juke box,and pinball machine was an added bonus.

The soundproofing between my room and next door was not great but luckily next door retired at a reasonable hour .

Room was decent and ensuite decent size too. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had evening meal and breakfast and both were excellent. Lots of choice on menu for main meals. People travel to restaurant only as food is so good. Would recommend to everyone. Petrol station next door for paper, milk etc.
