The cost was very reasonable. Comfortable and very warm and cozy. Kitchen facilities very good for self catering. Great grounds for family and pet walking. This is a lovely scenic area but may be a little isolated for some people. Great shop on campus with lovely friendly staff. Keeps long hours for it's customers!

Rm 15- The shower was hard to adjust. Hot for 20 secs, cold for 20 secs and repeat to end of shower use. Poor! A deep clean is required in kitchen and bedrooms (I had two rooms for family use). No clean linen or clean towels forthcoming even though we were there for 6 nights! Nb linen /towel change was described as being left out for use in accommodation details after every 3 night!! TV in Rm 14 not working. Doors self closing made a racket unfortunately!

For the price, a good, clean and comfortable place to stay - I've paid more for places far less pleasant to stay. Very impressed that no fee was charged for my two dogs. The grounds were very pleasant, with plenty of places to sit. A basic kitchen to prepare and eat food is a good facility to have.

There was a slightly stale odour to the unit I stayed in. The addition of an armchair to the bedroom would have been a welcome addition. The grouting in the wet room was slightly mouldy in places. Some of the doors were very heavily sprung and could be quite noisy, A bit impersonal and soulless

very budget friendly. clean, comfortable and ideally located. we didn’t use the communal kitchen/living area, but the facilities were great. We ate at the Venue bar and kitchen using a groupon. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. the food was exceptional and very decent sized portions.

Student dorm type rooms. There is plenty of storage space. Barriered entry,keypads, and locks so it all felt secure. The grounds in which the apartments are set are lovely, clean, well-kept, and verdant. Everything was clean. Communal kitchen area was well equipped - microwave etc. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean and practical. More than adequate for a couple of nights' sleep/study. Lots of desk space/plug points(not USB) 15 mins or so drive to town centre. Will definitely stay again.

It was quite noisy - every time a door closed it could be heard, something woke me up at 330am- take earphones! WiFi wasn't explained at arrival so spent the first night without. I struggled to locate reception at night There's no lift.

It would have been good if breakfast was on the next morning. Room was fine for the price it was. I wouldn’t have wanted to pay any more though. Easy enough to check in and leave the key in the drop box. The actual venue was lovely for a wedding reception. The room/bed was cleaned and that the most important thing

King bed would be better as double is short for 6ft plus people! Breakfast options. It was noisy but that’s not your fault. It was other guests.

Easy check in, easy parking, secure entrance, clean and functional furniture. Good shower flow, clean towels. Small TV. Didn't use kitchen apart from to boil a kettle but it was clean.

The walls were quite thin which wasn't a problem for me but could have been. The bathroom didn't have a heated towel rail . As the room was on the ground floor I couldn't leave the window open so towels didn't dry. Could be really hot in summer.

I travelled up from Portsmouth to the accommodation and couldn’t be happier to what I walked into. The room was MORE than ample, with plenty of space to put my bags and lay out anything I needed. The bathroom was perfectly suited to a single person away for a few days. The room had been cleaned thoroughly before my visit. I only used the kitchen to replenish my water bottle but was more than happy with the facilities. To stay in Huddersfield centre I was looking at £500-£650 where I only paid around £150 for my 4 night in this place. Completely worth it.

I stayed here to attend a function at The Venue. This was ideal as the rooms are in the same complex and just a few minutes walk away. These are basic student style rooms in apartment blocks but reasonably spacious and with ensuite shower rooms. Each apartment has a good shared kitchen cum lounge with TV, fridges, microwave, kettle and ample tea and coffee. The wi-fi was easy and the connection was excellent. The staff were helpful and communicative. The online check-out and key drop was very convenient.

No frills but very good value.
