We stayed here for a romantic getaway as it was our wedding anniversary. The stay was Excellent all round really. We thought we had just a normal double room so you can imagine our suprise when we found it was a four poster room with balcony and outside seating area. The room was great and the bed super comfy. Shower was huge and powerful. We both Slept like a log. Had dinner in the onsite restaurant which was fab. The waiter was probably the best you could ask for and couldn't do enough for us. Great guy! Think he was called Blain he even went out of his way to create a message on the desert plate for my wife. Breakfast was again fab with plenty of toast and a fairly big portioned full English. Had more coffee than Ive ever had which was brought to us again by the waiter from last night. In all this was a great stay and I highly recommend.

The hotel is on the outskirts so nothing much around. The wife wanted chocolate so had a venture to see if any shops were nearby but couldn't find one although there is a petrol garage a couple of minutes walk away. Can't fault anything with the hotel or staff!

the room didn't actually have it's own window. the bathroom didn't have a heated towel rail so after one shower your towel stayed wet and the extraction of steam out of the bathroom was so poor the floor was slippy and dangerous after a shower. the TV only had basic channels and no option to access other apps to keep us entertained when in our room. the function which was going on at night was so loud until midnight it kept us both awake.

everything was perfect, the room was gorgeous, the staff were very welcoming, the temple spa products that were also available to use when using the shower was a lovely touch. the food was also amazing, portion sizes were not over facing so you didn't feel too full. we also made use of the spa facilities and treatments (this was booked separately from the room), the spa is quite small but very relaxing, which was ideal. I would definitely stay again

The property was lovely with stunning views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. Excellent value for money.

The room was cold when we arrived, partly due to a window in the bathroom being left open but the temperature of the heating itself was quite low so didn’t really get up to a comfortable temperature. We didn’t raise this with the staff so we don’t know if this could have been corrected.

We went for a celebration family meal for my dad’s 80th. We had Sunday lunch. It was delicious. The staff were very accommodating & friendly. My parents stayed in one of the lovely bedrooms & they had the best nights sleep. I would definitely recommend both the restaurant & the hotel rooms.

The kitchen closed on Sunday after the afternoon service & didn’t open in the evening so they couldn’t get even a light bite for their tea.

My room was comfortable, warm and nicely furnished. It was quiet and overlooked fields. The menu in the restaurant had lots of choice for my evening meal and breakfast. The food was very good for both of my meals.

The shower head seemed a little bunged up possibly with limescale so the flow was very uneven. The television was quite small by today's standards.

Great bar and dining rooms. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast.

Our room was very close to the function suite which was hosting a wedding on the night of our stay…..this proved to be very noisy, which meant we did not get as much sleep as we would like. Was disappointing as the staff had made us welcome. Would have been good to have been warned in advance.

Lovely room with air con/heating on an elevtronic control panel. Comfortable bed and nice ensuite. Food is absolutely excellent. Spa is lovely...

Extractor in bathroom didn't work all the time, cresulting in lots of condensation hanging around. We reported and they noted it staff were pleasant and friendly, perhaps slightly less so than our last visit.

The staff are always very friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely. The location is perfect and the room was well maintained, freshly painted on woodwork as well. Bathroom was very comfortable and clean. This is my fifth visit and will continue to stay here when able or booked.

Me and my partner came here for a mini getaway. When we arrived, we were greeted at the reception and given a key for our room. Our room was clean with a modern bathroom and our bed was really comfy. The spa is lovely! We had the luxury of having it all to ourselves. We also dined In the restaurant in the evening and for the complimentary breakfast that came with our room. The food we ate tasted fantastic and it was well presented by the chef. The waiters were also very efficient with their table service and friendly.

We had to go downstairs and ask the waiter at the bar for some drinking glasses for our room. My only suggestion would be to place some drinking glasses in the rooms.
