Owner Irene was very nice. (So was her border terrier)!Quick communication too. I wound up with a 2 bedroom house to myself, which was a welcome surprise. The house is decorated in African motifs, with vibrant coloured patterns in each room. Also fitted with Middle Eastern glass lighting. Such a contrast to drab, commercial hotel rooms! Kitchen is fully fitted with most everything you might need. Bathroom has a tub & handheld shower. Bed and pillows were comfy and Irene had supplied 3 large, sealable bottles of drinking water. The living room had a decent size TV with Netflix. Everything was clean and up to standard. There's also some shops, takeaways and a large Tesco within a few minutes walk.

If you stay here during cold months, bring warm sleepwear! The boiler looks fairly new and did a good job, but the walls and windows couldn't retain the heat. As per Irene's very understandable request, I switched the boiler off before going to sleep. Let's just say morning was a bit more invigorating than usual! Also could benefit with softer towels and one bright light.

I absolutely recommend this stay in Bradford. Høst was very enjoyable, talkative, and will definitely help you with anything. place is super cozy, with everything you should need. Even with free tea and coffee. For this price it's miraculous. Definitely will stay there again, if I ever come back to Bradford.

Irene was a lovely host. Comfortable bed and colourful and inspiring interior.The hosts dog wash very friendly.

Property was a bit tricky to find as it isn't located correctly in the street on Google maps, so don't just rely on that. The host gave very clear instructions so just follow those.

There is a little book with all the info and tips about nearby restaurants and places to visit. I found it very helpful. Irene is a great host she explained everything, she was patient, friendly and generally nice.

There was nothing I did not like.

Had a lovely stay me and my boyfriend went to see queen's of the stone age and needed a place to stay for the night. The host was very welcoming and showed us to our room. There was another guy with his son who were also going to see the band so she arranged a taxi for us too. The room was really cool I loved the theme and it was very peaceful and comfortable. Our kettle also broke and the host found us another straight away. Overall highly recommend if you need a few nights away 👍🏻

Irene was very friendly and communicated effectively throughout my stay. She could also recommend places to eat out or places to shop if I wanted to cook. I also had no issue parking out on the front.

Irene & Elsa were great, the room/bed are comfy, plenty of free parking on-street.

Not an issue, but worth noting that there might be other Booking.com guests staying in an adjacent room, so worth closing your door with a key provided by Irene, as you won't know who stays there.

Nothing was to much trouble for Irene we felt like family from the start of our stay. The little dog is such a sweet thing and a complete joy to have around. We would definitely go back.

Bradford Digs is very different from staying in a typical Guest House. It is more like staying in somebody's home. Irene is exceptionally friendly, helpful and interactive with guests. It offers good value. On street parking in easy. Decor is something else, an esoteric ethnic taste, and the polar opposite to a bland hotel from a chain. It is a small back to back terraced house, where Irene lives. However I believe if you book on Booking.com you will get a room in the house in front which Irene now owns and I did not view this accommodation. Good choice if you find being alone in hotels is unpleasant.

I really like the house, but it will not be to everybody's tastes. It is a couple of miles from the centre but close to buses. Irene has a small friendly sweet dog which cannot be isolated from guests due to the small size.

Great host, made me feel welcomes from the time I walked in. Room was great, bed was comfortable, there were plenty of tea and coffee options in the room. Owner has a dog but the night was quiet and no noise whatsoever, so had a comfortable sleep. I highly recommend and so booked again for my next visit, good to support our community. The host is a an amazing lady.
