Location was great. Staff were very polite and helpful. Also, it was kind of like a maze inside but the staff gives clear instructions, so you find your room easy.

There was a construction going on in front of the hotel and this made directions a bit complicated on maps. Although I found the hotel eventually, I spent quite a time to find the right directions. This was not the fault of hotel though. The bathroom was really small and shower head was attached to wall, it was not moving, like a rain fall, it might feel nice but I would prefer to arrange water direction 🙂

The location was great. Close to the train station and the city centre. The room was more than adequate (with tea making facilities, hangers & so on) and the bathroom very large. The heater was very efficient which was more than welcome in the cold weather. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very efficient. I actually extended my stay there by a day and if I were ever to visit Leeds again, it would be top on my list accommodation wise.

The bath tub is not accessible at all. I didn't realise how far off the ground it was the first time I used it. The sink tap didn't bring out hot water.

I spent two nights and had breakfast at the hotel. My room was very spacious. Both the man that checked me in at night and the Spanish girl that was there during the day were very sweet, polite and helpful. Thank you for taking care of me. Breakfast was more simple than at other hotels, but I believe it was enough and good value foe the price. If I ever visit again, I will definitely stay at the same hotel. The only negative thing was the location of my room which was on the 10th floor and it felt like the end of the world. Having said that, thanks to that my room was big, so it balanced out. Ideally located, the property stands opposite Leeds Train Station and is a short walk from the city centre. As a participant in the International Medieval Congress, I found the daily walk to the campus quite manageable. Our top-floor room provided breathtaking views. The breakfast selection was extensive and varied.

However, the shower's water pressure was disappointingly weak. Having longer hair, I struggled to wash out the shampoo completely. Also, I couldn't for the life of me work out how to get the water temperature right in the washbasin since there were two taps (one for hot and the other for cold water).

The room was so comfortable, the bed was soft, the pillows fantastic and the window opened just enough to let cool air in (I like to sleep when it’s cold.) All of the staff members I interacted with were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. There was noise in the hotel from other guests, but none of it ever bothered me and obviously it’s to be expected! The tv worked perfectly, there were plenty of tea and coffees provided, as well as a hairdryer and shower gel. I would absolutely have this hotel as my first choice the next time I visit Leeds.

Properties a good location and clean, nice stuff very helpful and the reception and entrance looks really bright and inviting. The property is nice enough and we’ve stayed here a few times. Booked a twin room and expected the same as previously experienced, although staff advised they had upgraded us on arrival however the room was very dated and not as nice as we have previously had here. Overall a nice day as normal and would recommend as the location is great. Everything is on your doorstep good places to eat and drink nearby and shopping is also local literally couple of minutes walk from the train station.

Only couple of comments and it would not deter us from staying again as we have returned many times. Rooms are dated and could do with freshening up furniture wise although the showers and bathrooms are fellow decent and clean. Every time we stay, the heating is always on full throughout the hotel which can make it unbearable when the windows don’t always open.

The location within a few minutes of the railway station is great - makes it easy to go on day trips or catch taxis. The hotel has a lift, no trudging up and down stairs. My room was large, with a large bathroom that had a deep tub for soaking. The room was well-lighted and the bed comfortable. It had a desk and chair, handy for working at. The continental breakfast included ham, cheese, salami, and a latte machine. Friendly and informative staff.

It would have been useful to have instructions posted in the bathroom for how to make the shower turn on and how to flush the toilet (put the lid down before pressing the handle all the way - you can't do that with the seat up). Otherwise, no complaints.

I liked the cleanliness of the room. I liked the receptionist, as he was a very kind man. ;-) I liked the location of this hotel. I mainly liked that it is near the shopping area, close to the train station and near the bus station from which I travelled straight to the coast.

Maybe I didn't like the soap refills a little. A bit outdated for me, and I think ;-) if I may :-) that nowadays, when there are so many different, very beautiful and new products in stores, it seemed to me that this could actually be more variable in this accommodation facility. Otherwise, I really liked everything and I have absolutely no tick off for them, I was very satisfied in this accomodation facility.

Excellent location near the train station, easy to find, helpful staff and very welcoming. Basic but clean and comfortable. I didn’t have breakfast so cannot say what this was like. Room was larger than expected for the price. Good water pressure for the shower. Would book this hotel again for a reasonably priced night in Leeds.

Found the room to be too hot and struggled to sleep as a result however I was able to borrow a fan from reception which helped. It was quite noisy from restaurants, trains and people in the surrounding area with windows open however this was expected given the central location.

Lots of restaurants, shops and cultural venues within walking distance. Access to trains and buses within a 5 minute walk and within a 10 minute walk to buses across the England. Although the room was cosy in size it was very comfortable and provided everything needed in the way of essentials. The bathroom had a high warm shower, and shelves on which to place toiletries. The hotel was ecologically inclined regarding recyclable paper, etc., and changing linens only when needed. There is an elevator to the first few floors.

Although not critical, drinking glasses were absent, so we drank wine from the coffee mugs. Hardly a big issue!!!
