We stayed in two double rooms a family of four for 4 nights. We loved the location near the train station and the city centre. The rooms were clean, spatious and had all the facilities. Personnel was excellent. Breakfast was nice with everything.Coffees from a machine were really tasteful with a great variety like, cappuccino, latte, mocha etc. Beds were comfy. 24 hour reception service.

Windows, doors and bathrooms need some renovation. To access floors 7 to 9 had to take two lifts and walk through the corridors. Breakfast is continental with no hot prepared food like eggs and bacon. That was not a problem for us.

The location first and foremost, it's perfect for visitors situated just a few short minutes from the train station. The rooms are functional, if a little dated, shower was good. And the bed comfortable. Plenty of storage space and sockets with a TV and hair dryer along with tea and coffee facilities. It's very quiet which allowed for a good night's sleep.

The layout of the hotel, it's split across two buildings and if you want to get to the top three levels you have to go up two lifts which are at either end of the hotel, and you still have to go up and down stairs. So it's not ideal if you've got heavy cases or have any mobility issues. Make sure to specify this when booking to ensure they assign an appropriate room. The rooms don't have aircon and the windows don't open very wide. You can ask for a fan at reception, but it doesn't really help much

Very well located. The staff was super nice. The room was neat and clean. I wanted to change my room and the staff was very cordial and helpful regarding that. Overall a very pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable. Neat and tidy cabinets. The linen was also clean. The bathroom was quite spacious.

Sometimes the water would not turn cold in the bathroom so it was difficult to get cold drinking water. Had to get it from the reception. The carpet though clean, was a bit stained, so perhaps that could be changed. The kettle in the room was a little dirty. There were some noisy neighbours next to the previous room I was given so had to change it.

Location was great. Staff were very polite and helpful. Also, it was kind of like a maze inside but the staff gives clear instructions, so you find your room easy.

There was a construction going on in front of the hotel and this made directions a bit complicated on maps. Although I found the hotel eventually, I spent quite a time to find the right directions. This was not the fault of hotel though. The bathroom was really small and shower head was attached to wall, it was not moving, like a rain fall, it might feel nice but I would prefer to arrange water direction 🙂

Its right next to the train station. Was a bit intimidating walking through town at night alone but the hotel has staff on 24/7 & doors are manned at night & locked. Room was clean & comfortable. It was cheap compared to other places and did what I needed for the night.

Pillows were a bit flat,2 pillows feels like 1 pillow. It was a pain getting 1 lift to one floor,walking down & across another corridor & up some stairs with 3 bags & cases,on my own with disabilities & to another lift to get up to the 10th floor. Breakfast expensive for a continental breakfast. I would stay again despite all this though this was just some suggestions/dislikes. Nothing needed to change with staff they were lovely,kind,respectful.

The staff at Discovery Inn are first class - so helpful, friendly and professional. For my needs - a clean, comfortable and quiet stay close to the central station on a slim budget, my Discovery Inn room was a good buy. I needed to leave my bag with them after check-out and was hugely relieved that this service is available for £1 for the whole day - I had a shoulder injury so there was no question I could lug my daysack around. The cleaning team were super too - thanks to all! I didn't have breakfast.

There is a rather a maze of corridors to reach the quieter rooms. One of the sink taps in my single room has a missing a lug - (3 instead of 4) but it still functioned - the tap will continue to run if you don't turn it fully off (it's a bit tight) - the sink itself (room 1010) is tiny. The carpets could do with cleaning, but everything else was clean.

The location was great. Close to the train station and the city centre. The room was more than adequate (with tea making facilities, hangers & so on) and the bathroom very large. The heater was very efficient which was more than welcome in the cold weather. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very efficient. I actually extended my stay there by a day and if I were ever to visit Leeds again, it would be top on my list accommodation wise.

The bath tub is not accessible at all. I didn't realise how far off the ground it was the first time I used it. The sink tap didn't bring out hot water.

Loved the location, very close to the centre of town. Pubs clubs you name it you are close to them. I came up to see a show at the Leeds grand theatre and it's like a 10 minute walk (if that) and also the Royal Armouries museum which again isn't far at all. Close to shops and restaurants/takeaway aways (the trinity? Isn't far either, big food court with lots of food options) so food wasn't a problem.

Like I said it's close to pubs and clubs, so you do get hassle from drunk people nearby. Aside from that, I had no issues. As it was bank holiday Sunday you could hear clubs and stuff from my room (10th floor). But I stuck a film on and drowned it out. Also my TV wasn't working and had to use my phone.

I spent two nights and had breakfast at the hotel. My room was very spacious. Both the man that checked me in at night and the Spanish girl that was there during the day were very sweet, polite and helpful. Thank you for taking care of me. Breakfast was more simple than at other hotels, but I believe it was enough and good value foe the price. If I ever visit again, I will definitely stay at the same hotel. The only negative thing was the location of my room which was on the 10th floor and it felt like the end of the world. Having said that, thanks to that my room was big, so it balanced out. Happy customer here

The place has exceeded our expectations— we booked it due to its central location as we wanted to try a few bars nearby but we did think as a compromise it maybe kind of dark and dodgy. But it’s not at all! From the reception area to the room, it’s bright, clean and perfectly served our purpose. The front desk was helpful and friendly. Overall very happy.

None. ( just a note the parking they associated with is expensive (£27)even after 30% discount, so we parked at Victoria Leeds car park, 5pm to 6am for £5, and about £3 per hour after. But it is a 10-12 mins walk. )
