Clean room with a very comfy bed, nice shower room, and a friendly welcome at the front desk. We didn't use the other facilities, but I've been to the Sky Lounge before and it's nice. Lovely location by the canal.

There were no sockets next to the bed for charging phones (I use mine as an alarm, so this was frustrating), and the television didn't have BBC 6Music in the list of radio stations!

Exceptionally clean and wonderful breakfast.

No parking concessions. Paying more for parking when hotel spaces were unavailable, unlike in other city hotels that do provide reduced rates with partnering car park areas. One key fob provided per room. Was provided another on request. However, only one ever worked and repeated journeys had to be made to reception for the fob to be reactivated. Inconvenient! Service in Sky Lounge left a lot to be desired. Took at least 20 minutes to actually receive drinks post order with only about eight customers present with three members of staff!

We have stayed a few times and always loved it there,rooms are comfortable and plenty of sockets for chargers,straightners etc.It's in good location if travelling by train or car.The hotel is quiet on a night even with the skylounge above.Staff always helpful and smiling.

On this occasion, the member of staff checking us in was chewing gum and having a conversation with the other staff member while dealing with us,it was abit disrespectful. I found they had the computer screens too high in front of the staff so blocked your view of them so you kept talking to the side of the screen.This was the first time this happened staying there.

Location is perfect. For a night stay, this was exactly what we needed. Room was spacious, comfy bed. Lovely bathroom and fantastic shower.

I noted on my request that I have allergy to duck feather and need feather pillows. The lady who checked us in did not realise that all pillows in our room are already feather free prior to check-in. Poor room service guy came to replace and when checking told us it was already feather free. Came to the room to find my handtowel was dirty, but staff were prompt to change it. Not much ventilation in the bathroom. Maybe could do with an extractor fan? Particularly for the toilet. Main issue for both me and partner was the TV. TV is outdated. Most hotels these days have a digital option (i.e. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube etc) so during downtime, standard TV was boring/annoying.

This is a very good (and good-looking) hotel in a terrific location both for the railway station and the city centre. It has all the positive attributes of a high standard, very contemporary,hotel. Our room was impeccably clean (as was the bathroom), bright, with very good lighting by the bed, which was huge and comfortable. The breakfast was good with plenty of fruit. The hotel's staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel's Skylounge with great views of the city is very popular with locals, but the hotel seems to manage this well. The downside of our stay was the lifts. Only one out of three was working for the four days we were there, so on one occasion, we had a wait of ten minutes. We were led to understand that this is a recurring problem. So the hotel needs to get a grip on this.

This hotel is right in the hustle and bustle of Granary Wharf, overlooking the train station (photo attached shows very cool view from the room). When we arrived there was a private function on so the main SkyBar was shut (we had been told of this ahead of time - communication was great from the hotel). Despite this noise, I couldn't hear a peep in the room. This, combined with the world's best blackout curtains meant that when I woke up at 11am I was convinced it was 4 in the morning. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't eat here or drink at the bar, but the staff we did interact with were very friendly, and security was good. Would happily stay here again.

So so many things! Location to the train station. Literally a 2 minute walk from the back entrance of the station. Staff are all friendly and helpful. (First time in 43 years I’ve left something at the hotel. I’ve called and they are going to arrange to get it sent to me) Bed is comfy. Tv is easy to use. Room a good size. I enquired if ice buckets could be provided before I stayed. They said yes so when I arrived I asked for one. When I got to the room there was 1 waiting for me and then they brought the one I asked for upon check in. I was buzzing! Absolutely amazing service. Finally, the heating/cooling system for the room! Literally the best and easiest to use one ever! I’m not exaggerating too. This was my sixth 4 star hotel I’ve stayed in, in leeds. I don’t think I have to keep trying the others as this was by far the best I have stayed in and I will be staying here again.

There was 3 things I can point out. 1 - waiting for the lift was a nightmare to go down. 2 lifts running and they was always full due to the floors above and the sky lounge. 2 - sink in bathroom was too low but I think the room may have been room aimed at guests with disability. If that’s the case then it’s understandable. 3 - there was no shelf in the bathroom. Looks like there used to be one. Due to this, I didn’t have anywhere to put my things so I just had to leave my washbag on top of the bin.

Room was good - nice to have a fridge. Good selection of food at breakfast. Staff very nice and helpful. Convenient parking.

We stayed three nights and the Sky Lounge was completely closed for a private function on one night and mostly closed off for an event another night. Drinks really expensive in both bars (£8 for a pint of Guinness). We upgraded our room but it didn't look any different from the room we originally booked. Might just have been the view, in which case I would have stuck with what I booked.

It was a fantastic room; we chose the junior suite as it seemed a worthwhile upgrade and weren't disappointed. We've stayed in a standard room previously, which was also excellent, but the suite was worth it

Think the only downside was the skybar, we had been out for a meal for the evening and thought we'd have a nightcap before going back to our room, we came out of the lift and was immediately greeted and asked if we had booked, absolutely fine, however it came across with an atmosphere of unwelcoming and that we were intruding, almost pretentious that we weren't on the guest list for a private party

The rooms were lovely and overlooked the canal, they were well fitted with a fridge and ironing board and exceptionally clean. The bed has to be one of the most comfy we have ever slept in! The hotel staff were lovely and loved the cookies on arrival. The breakfast was superb. It was gorgeous weather so we were able to sit outside in the sky lounge having a night cap before bed! We loved that the hotel has pictures up of Leeds landmarks, which is always so nice rather than random pictures of other unconnected landmarks. We will definitely be staying again!
