The room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. As the weather was hot there was no duvet on the bed, just a sheet and this was perfectly adequate and a thoughtful idea. There was a duvet in the room if needed. Could have done with a drawer or a cupboard to put things in as there was only a wardrobe. Had to ask for a hairdryer as there wasn't one provided in the room.
We knew what to expect with a Village Hotel and chose it for easy bus access to the centre of Leeds. We were taken aback on our 3rd morning, having breakfast, to find the breakfast facilities closing down just after 9.00, i.e. shutting off the toaster, fruit salad, yoghurts and juices all taken away. When asked why, the staff said it was Company policy. This hadn't happened on the Saturday and Sunday mornings, so we can only assume times were different on a Monday morning.

I liked the fact there was a pool although we paid to use it we didn't as we never had time.
The room smelled of fish when we entered, our card lock failed on 2nd day due to needing a battery change and I was desperate for the toilet so had to go back down to the foyer toilets. The bar was too noisy to eat in. They need a separate area for food so people who want a quiet breakfast, lunch, or dinner can avoid the sports cheering and jeering and loud conversations. Never sure why people have to shout at each other whilst dining! We attempted to eat in the foyer but then we were descended on by a large group of teens on their prom night! Not a very leisurely weekend for us I'm afraid. The only cereal on offer was weetabix ,breakfast choice very limited.

We came to stay the night for a wedding. We had a lovely time and found most staff to be very helpful especially with advising on wheelchair access. The wedding was brilliant. The stay was comfortable and clean
I didn't like that the house keep knocked on our door at 10.50 to tell us he should be in to clean our rooms however check out wasn't until 11. We were almost ready just gathering the last bits but I feel he should have checked the time. Also there was very little space in the family room with the sofa bed pulled out. The rooms were a little compact especially with a child who is a wheelchair user but family rooms with access don't exist.

Swimming pool! Plus bar/restaurant and Starbucks. Plenty of parking. All the staff we met were lovely, very helpful and professional.
The family room was a good size. However, the temperature in the room was too warm for us with no temp control and a window which only opened a v small amount. There was nowhere to dry wet swimming costumes apart from 2 hooks on the bathroom door, but then nowhere to hang towels…. Also (despite the too warm room), no radiators. Plus the lighting in the bathroom was weird, so impossible to do makeup in there. Not much better in the bedroom either. The wet swimmers issue would be easily fixed if a small clothes airer was provided.

Location is good. Loads of restaurants near by and supermarkets. The hotel is huge with a spa, gym and swimming facilities which were clean and manned well. Guest was respectful. Staff were so friendly. A massive thank you to Chloe and Belle for decorating our room for my nephews birthday. And thank you to the member of staff at breakfast that helped me look for my daughter’s toy. (Didn’t get her name sorry) EVERYONE WAS SO KIND!! wonderful service! Christmas dinner was fab too!!. Santa came and gave chocolates to the kids. No complaint at all
Wish they had charger ports near the beds but that’s nothing major. Wish there was hash browns for breakfast

We stayed at the hotel for a Christmas getaway. Booked online at a good price, when we arrived the check in was smooth, and the staff was polite and friendly. The room was lovely and clean, and the hotel had gifted small gifts and a card for the kids for Christmas at their own expense. The kid thoroughly enjoyed the pool facilities. The breakfast was full of choices and lovely to the taste, Staff again were very accommodating to us and the kids. The room service was swift and again staff, were great. On our second night we experienced noise disturbance from the floor above us and guests messing about in the hallway. When this was reported to the staff, they explained they would ask the noise to be calmed and for the residents to go back to their rooms as they were teens. The hotel apologised and offered a room change for us, which we ended up taking and it was just around the corner. We had a quiet night after this. But overall our stay was 100%. Staff were great, The food amazing and our room was lovely and clean and just right for us. This was our second stay. We will be back ! :)
As it is an old building you can hear people above you if they are running about or if they have kids jumping around which cannot always be helped. And you can hear people running up and down the corridor, maybe adding some padding to the bottom of the doors to reduce the noise would be good?

Near to the where we wanted to go in Leeds. Swimming in the morning for my little one. Friendly, helpful staff. Good atmosphere in the bar downstairs. Can sit outside with drinks. Great check out time (11am).
Food wrappers under the pull out bed. Cups not cleaned properly. Wallpaper all scratched. Broken blinds in hall way (noticed this on our last visit at Easter, they need taking down). Very uncomfortable beds & pillows on this stay. Quilts too thick for this time of year.

Staff excellent especially on our departure. The girl on reception a young lady tried to her best ability to get a taxi and tried to get us an Uber account. Next because we couldn't get a taxi and we were going to miss our , 2 young men that had been to the gym helped us by taking us in their car and got us there by 9 and wouldn't take a penny from us for doing so. A very pleasant stay indeed
Nothing at all I would recommend it if someone needed a stay over for the airport but hopefully the weather was the downer beyond your control

Staff were very friendly. My room was very comfortable and had almost everything I needed. Bar staff were friendly and the bar prices were reasonable. Great leisure facilities which I used on Christmas morning. Overall very good value for money.
Could have done with a mini fridge in the room, I understand none of the rooms have this. Also I did not have a very nice view from my window, looked out over what I think were air conditioning units on a flat roof, and the windows of other rooms.

Room 238 Good size It was clean During the night it got a bit too warm, the windows could open a little wider I think, we shouldn't treat everyone as potential "jumpers" or idiots! You can keep air con for me, I hate it, give me fresh air every time, at home my bedroom window is open 24/7/365 days, no matter the weather! Bed Very comfortable with two pillows each, excellent. Breakfast Spot on, everything we wanted or needed was there. I particularly liked the sausage and the bacon, as did my partner. the toaster was a bit keen heat wise, my croissant was great and it was possibly the best machine coffee i ever had. Service was great and the poached eggs!
Double room 238 Could be provided with water glasses. Only one chair in the room??? No sockets or charge points for phone. (wake up) The paintwork outside is, or has, become quite shabby. The lift closed too quickly. (dangerously so) Directly over the lobby, the first impression on looking out of the window was, moss in the gutters and a broken slate, simple stuff for any maintenance department, if there is one!
