Lucky enough to meet the owner of the apartment who was very friendly, very helpful with advice he gave for where to visit in the surrounding areas, was very accommodating. The facilities were amazing comfy large bed sofas and TV with kitchen to accommodate any kind of meals if you were planning to cook meals yourself, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, oven and utensils etc. Everything you need. Bath and shower separate was also a great touch.

Parking was a slight downside but in all honesty it’s so cheap and also so close together if needing to change car park or go and pay for parking it takes 2 minutes.

Although the beds are very comfortable and lovely and large, the side of the double bed near the door in the main bedroom was very badly sagging and had obviously had several very heavy people sleeping in it over time. This made it less comfortable. Also, unfortunately (and through no fault of the landlord) there was a very bad fatty/frying smell permeating the kitchen in the flat when we arrived. The previous occupants had obviously fried a lot of fatty or meaty food and it took us a while to air the flat and get rid of the smell – there were two very grease-caked roasting dishes in the oven with just a piece of tin foil placed over each, possibly by the cleaners, or the previous occupants had left it like that.

Excellent and timely communication before the stay with details for travel parking and access meant that you know exactly what to expect. Further reminder details sent just before the stay. Spacious well appointed property. We only stayed for the weekend and spent a lot of time out and about but for longer stays the apartment has everything you need to cook, eat at home and spend a comfortable evening relaxing. Wi-Fi was great and easy to access with enough bandwidth to stream videos. Really comfy bed so we got fabulous nights sleep. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great location, good parking nearby, comfortable bed although with it being a zip link king size there was a gap/seam down the middle of the bed which was uncomfortable to lie on if slept in the middle of the bed, lovely big bathroom, spacious apartment, able to heat to a comfortable & even temperature. Tastefully decorated, good sized TV.

Small shower cubicle, some tongs to turn food over would be useful, a couple of larger bowls and oven to tableware dishes should have enabled more food options to be made, difficult to work the microwave as the button descriptions rubbed off, no cleaning cloths or sponges provided for washing up/wiping down. Sofa very angular and hard side arms so not particularly cosy. The seat pad of the chaise longue kept coming off & tilting - wasn’t able to secure on, just balance on the bottom frame, so avoided using it.

Great location right on the market square - we were attending a wedding at the church in Leek and it was absolutely perfect! Really comfortable and spacious apartments, v comfortable beds. Andrew was great and really helpful in making sure everything was sorted for us.

It was a little noisy on Friday night for the bedroom overlooking the square as there are some bars outside - not too bad but I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

A fabulous location with access to lots of places to eat and drink. The market was a lovely place to visit, too. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything that was needed. The only issue was that the main bedroom on the front of the property was very light and would be better with lined curtains as this meant there was no way we could have a lie in.

Lovely accommodation, which exceeded our expectations. Travelled to Leek for a friend's wedding, staying for 3 nights in The Roaches Suite. Very spacious, bright and airy 2 bedroom apartment, with lovely little touches, including coffee and tasteful decor! Came with everything we needed for our stay, including a handy, easy to read instruction manual - all kitchen appliances and utensils included, although we mostly ate elsewhere, but thank you for the recommendations. Beds were very comfortable. Had the option of both a bath and a shower, the shower was clean and powerful. Clean and well maintained throughout. Clear details provided on how to access the property, sent via email prior to arriving. Felt safe and secure during the stay. Liked the safety feature on the windows, one less worry when travelling with a child. Ideal location, right in the middle of town. Would stay again, and highly recommend this apartment to others!

The trim on the carpets going from the rooms - it was quite sharp and managed to catch our feet on it several times. Some noise from neighbouring pubs/clubs but didn't affect our stay. Access to property down an alley way, lights didn't always come on when dark.

We had an amazing time here. We booked as we were going to Alton Towers which is a 20 min drive away, an absolutely lovely drive through fields & fields with great views. We had a mixture of teenagers and our grandchildren who are 5 & 2. The property was excellent value for money and just a really nice place to stay after a full on day at Alton Towers. We stayed for 3 nights and ventured around Leek eating, drinking & visiting the lovely quirky shops in the area. Housey House shop was cool, a little hidden gem of a shop with all lovely things. There are lovely pies & sausage rolls further up the street in various shops and the market. There is a really good health shop around the corner which was constantly busy with a chiller with fresh salads/sandwiches etc. The location and area is lovely. We will deffo stay again next time we go to Alton Towers.

We stayed here while visiting Alton towers with our young family. The location is perfect if you are visiting Alton towers and is just a 20 minute drive. The flat itself was very comfortable and pretty child friendly too with 2 kids under 3. There was no excess glass ornaments and windows were safe. Bedroom is huge with loads of storage. The fan was great to have too in the hot weather. Leek is a lovely small town with cobbled street and friendly locals. Loads of nice restaurants and take aways and shops. I’d visit again for sure, I’m glad to have discovered it.

Could do with some TLC as a few things were broken. Didn’t really bother us as we didn’t spend much time inside but might bother others.

Decor, facilities, big beds, well equipped kitchen, handy position for Leek’s excellent pubs and restaurants, decent value.

I’m sure we won’t be the first to mention that the front bedroom is noisy: erecting market stalls Friday night and music from Market Place pubs on Saturday. I’m not being sarcastic when I suggest that a box of earplugs is provided. I bought some and they really helped.
