The breakfast, and the woman who operated the pantry, were both EXCELLENT!! My room was large and commodious. Although I did not use it, there was a full kitchen available for my use.
It was difficult to find the entrance to the facility. The address did not show up on several online maps that I used. And, the taxi driver who took me there from Kings Cross Station did not know how to reach the entrance to the facility. So, I had to walk, in the dark, late at night, a bit, to find the entrance. I should have been told, by the facility, to enter via Almeida Street; but, I wasn't. It was the only problem in an otherwise very pleasant experience.

Very nice studio with all the things you need for a lovely stay. Beds comfortable and modern clean rooms.
Checkout is much earlier than similar alternative accommodation, 11 am on a Sunday compared to 12 noon, which is more convenient. On the way out on Sunday we wanted to take the nearest escalators, and the cleaning staff waved us down to the other ones, in a very un customer friendly way, made you feel they were more important than customers in the manner they did it waving you away to the others and how they said to use the alternative. I understand they had carts. It they could have been more polite.

The space, light, air circulation, layout and cleanliness of the room were all excellent. I appreciated being in such a central part of London in a place where I could keep the window open at night and not be disturbed by noice. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and find myself across the street from an excellent patisserie (Paul's), close to multiple other restaurants and food vendors, close to King's Cross and Angel Station...really, I could not have asked for more. It was also nice not having to stress about having housekeeping come in every day. It really felt like "my own place" for the three-day stay. The staff was receptive when I mentioned that the drain in the shower was slow, and it was repaired the very next day.
Nothing that matters.

I've stayed here before and I love this hotel. Very large rooms, very comfortable beds, very well-equipped kitchen. The hotel is off the high street between Angel and Islington and it is a very quiet, calm area, great place to relax in your room. Very near all the cafes, bars, restaurants of the area. I left an item in my room and, after contacted me, they sent it to me home by registered mail! Amazing!
It must be said: it is very expensive! I know it's London, I know it's Islington, I know that, after Covid-19, prices soared in hospitality and they stayed that high, but I also think we need to raise this and protest rather than take it as a given. Please note it's a 10-min walk from either Angel station or Islington station. Not ideal if you have heavy luggage. Also - guys, please consider including some classier kind of instant coffee than Nescafe sachets in your rooms! For a hotel and pricing of this rate, you can do better than that!

The location is great being in the middle of Angel and Islington. The hotel has a lounge with free tea and coffee which was a nice space to work in and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Having kitchen facilities (microwave, hob, toaster, kettle) is such a bonus if you have a longer stay however, switching the instant coffee sachets and UHT milk for a coffee machine would feel much more in keeping with the style and price of the hotel.
The staff are a mixed bag, some were friendly and helpful but others very dismissive. I felt quite unwelcome on check-in and was not given any information on the hotel or its facilities. Also I would strongly suggest advising your staff not to shout out a guests room number to a busy reception, particularly when they are a young woman on their own - little things like this would have made a huge difference. The process for requesting a late check-out is bizarre. I requested this the evening before but was bluntly told I could only ask this at 9am the next day? On explaining that that wouldn't be possible as I would be leaving much earlier than that I was met with a dismissive shrug.

We booked this room last minute and it succeeded our expectations! The room was spacious, clean and really lovely.
I’m not sure if it’s an issue with Uber or the hotel. But we tried to get an Uber and I put Citadines Islington into the app and showed the correct route but the drivers map took us to Citadines Trafalgar Square and he showed us that it was routed to the wrong hotel. In the end I had to search specifically by the postcode. Which was frustrating and maybe needs to be looked into! Also the lighting for doing makeup wasn’t the best in the evening, even in the bathroom.

Breakfast 10/10 the selection was amazing and the seating area was really relaxing. The decor throughout the hotel matched and gave a really upmarket feel. The staff were lovely- I came the day before as I was getting married and they were very helpful to the photographer and makeup artist. Miriam was especially lovely and welcoming with a smile and it was greatly appreciated that she upgraded me. Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean especially the fridge which can often be missed! Also the best 2 nights sleep I've had in ages and my 7 month old was with me. The location is also good as there's so much nearby
Nothing needs changing me and my new husband only wish we could have stayed longer.

From entering the front door the front of house welcomed us and were lovely. Beautiful lobby area with free tea/coffee and even better bottles of wine for £10? In London? Easy check in. Very impressed with the rooms, large modern room with side kitchenette, plenty of wardrobe space and nice size bathroom and super comfy bed. Even temperature throughout with easy control panel. Will definitely be returning. Was the option for a £15 breakfast but we were celebrating a family event so popped into Megan’s next door which was excellent. Very central to local shops and eateries.

This is quite a new property, extremely clean, reasonably priced, near Angel - a great place if you want to spend a few days in London and not have to eat every meal out. The hotel is quiet and the rooms are quite spacious, with high ceilings, everything is brand new. If you can get a reasonable rate, I highly recommend, particularly given the exorbitant price of most London hotels.
Given the price point, I really don't have anything to complain about. A more luxurious property might feature better bed linens and pillows. The bathroom was very clean, but as with many bathrooms, there were problems with mold. Some kind of strong air freshener is used, which I don't personally care for.

The room was excellent as were the hotel facilities - loved the high ceilings and the well stocked kitchenette. Bathroom was large and the room itself was extremely bright and well appointed. Loved the ability to open the window too. Washing facilities were well needed.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable for me and I had to ask for 2 x toppers. After these were on - the bed was much more comfortable. The staff were very helpful in facilitating this to happen.
