Location is pretty convenient by St Pancreas train station, there is an elevator, room was clean

Not a huge deal but note that you do have to hand in your key when you leave and pick up from the 24 hour front desk when arriving back at hotel. That's fine but if the desk person goes to the bathroom you might be waiting outside for a few minutes, which isn't always ideal. Note there isn't AC, so the rooms can be a a little on the warm side. Also I stayed here twice and one room was definitely nicer than the other, even at same price. One room had a table, the other didn't. The second room also had a combined shower/toilet set up, similar to a bathroom you might find on a cruise line or train, very very compact. That all being said, this is a much cheaper option than other hotels in the area and I would stay here again.

Good value (for London). Very clean room, Quite (2nd floor & at the back.......perfect). Very friendly staff. 24 hour reception. Great location with easy access to King's Cross Tube Station & easy walking (less than an hour on a lazy Sunday morning with the sun shinning) via canal up to Camden for the Camden Markets for an easy no rush day & on to Regents Park. 3rd time staying at this hotel, can't fault it, same staff on each visit, which is a good sign. Only had the breakfast on one of the stays, not this time, it was your usual continental affair. There's a new Gym, didn't use, but it's a new addition to what's on offer, good to see a Hotel making improvements & investments.

Can't fault this place.

Amazing location, 24 hour front desk, cleaning services, clean bathroom, bottled water left everyday and towels changed daily, extra amenities like TV and hairdryer.

Stains on the carpet and duvet, the semi broken toilet flush but these were small disadvantages that did not ruin the experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect, a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross with plenty of places to get fast food, groceries or brunch nearby. A check-in time of 1.30pm is a little unusual and very handy. The reception staff were friendly and happy to store my mobility aid so that I didn't have to keep it in my room. The garden area is a welcome feature and part of the reason I booked this hotel over other similar places. Having a peaceful outside space with lots of options for seating and conversation was lovely.

Yes, the room was small, stairs to the entrance, no aircon, this is all pretty standard for a non purpose-built hotel in London. As is traffic noise, to an extent. But the traffic noise in a ground floor, street-facing room was significant. Even with the double windows closed it was maddening at certain times of day and late into the night. The road outside is part of the A501, and it shows. Another thing I'd point out is that there is work going on in part of the building that is closed off, but detritus seems to have spilled out into the garden so it was quite untidy in places. Finally, the bathroom was way past its best and in dire need of updating, so whilst it may have been as clean as possible it still looked grubby due to age, rust stains etc.

This was an excellent location as it was just a 10 minute walk from King's Cross. The hotel is off a side street so less traffic noise than main road. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly

The room was very small but for a single night it was fine.

We stayed for one night and overall, it was a decent experience for a short stay. The room was very basic but had the essentials, including a kettle with tea, coffee, and a few extras. The shower looked newly renovated and was quite modern, although it only had cold water during our stay. With the temperature around 25°C, it was a bit of a shock at first but not a major issue. There were a few small fruit flies in the room, possibly because the windows had been left open before we arrived. A bath mat had been neatly placed by the shower, but it looked used and wasn't very clean, which felt a bit questionable. The bed was already made and the mattress looked brand new—very clean—but extremely hard, which made it tough to get comfortable. The mattress protector also had a stain, so housekeeping could be improved a little. There was also quite a bit of noise from upstairs during check-in and check-out times, which sounded like furniture being moved around. That said, the staff were great—really friendly and helpful. They also let us store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which was a great perk and made things much easier for us. Despite a few small issues, it was perfectly fine for a one-night stay.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. They also allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel the next day while we explored London. Excellent location, 5/10 min walk to Kings Cross. Welcoming reception area and clean rooms.

The room was immaculately clean and freshly painted. It’s very near to several Rail stations. Really good value and friendly, helpful reception staff.

The hot water takes quite a few minutes to come through. On the hospitality tray disposable cups gives a cheap hotel vibe.

Everything was exactly as described. I got clean sheets and towels every day, plus water, coffee and biscuits. The TV was also in the room with lots of channels to choose from. I was placed in a room looking outside on the street which is quite noisy, but if you close the window during night, you won't hear it. Great location close to King's Cross Underground station and British Museum. Overall, very plesant and enjoyable stay.

Nothing much. The hotel would benefit a restoration, but everything is functional, so it is a great offer for someone looking for a budget friendly accomodation, especially solo travelers and those with short stay.

The hotel staff where very welcoming, polite and kind. The hotel was really well placed, not noisy and slightly away from a main road, so not much traffic noise. The bedroom was basic, very clean with tea/coffee and biscuits. On our departure we where offered water and use of the toilettes. We would definetly return here and recommend. Very good value for money. We didn't take breakfast, but i think the price was resonable considering how expensive it is to eat out in London.

A small side light by the bed would of been great! And maybe a couple of extra pillows on the bed. Apart from that couldn't fault this hotel!
