The location is ideal. If you are coming from gatwick airport it’s very convenient as there is a direct train that takes you to kings cross (5 min walking from the hotel). The underground is very close and it gives you access to 4 lines. Also there are many bus stops in the area. The rooms are clean and there is room service every day. Breakfast is nice ,not something special but definitely a decent breakfast to start the day. Another plus , the 24h reception.

Two consecutive days the alarm of the hotel was activated and as a result it woke us up in the middle of the night. The problem was solved after a couple of minutes.

you cannot beat location with this hotel if you need to take train at st pancras or king's cross or need to be centrally located in London with great public transport connections. Argyle square is quiet and the hotel is recently refurbished. I have stayed at other hotels in the same square and they are a bit old and mouldy. this one is not. the carpet looks clean, the sheets are clean and bed was comfortable. the room has tea and coffee facilities, a fan and modern features. feels like a proper hotel yet not luxurious. it is a place to stay for a couple of nights only though in my opinion

no lifts. it was not a problem for me this time as I had just a light luggage but if you do have big suitcases bear that in mind. you can hear people talking in the corridor quite well as they walk past your room.

Great location in Argyle Street. Within easy walking distance of Kings Cross Station, and a lot of things I like within 30 minutes walk such as Book Shops and the British Museum! Local amenities were good, such as food and entertainment. Better Shower than the Premiere Inn I stayed in on the previous night, and actually looked like it was decorated and furnished better!

I was on the 3rd floor (top floor), my room didn't have air conditioning, and the window was bolted shut... so I was sweltering in the heat.

The hotel was the perfect starting point for your London adventures. Located opposite King’s Cross St. Pancras Station, it had the best accessibility to the Underground system with various lines throughout the city. The single room was perfectly clean and utterly cozy, offering a lovely space to come back to after your exploration of the city. The bathroom seemed to be new and in tip-top shape. The room and the accompanying bathroom were the cleanest I’ve ever had. The staff is lovely and incredibly helpful.

The only point I would bring up is that room 011 on the ground floor isn’t for someone with a light sleep. Especially in the mornings and evenings, you hear the swinging door next to the room opening and closing repeatedly. While it didn’t bother me in the slightest, I can imagine it could wake light sleepers.

Great location near underground. Few Steps from groceries, fast foods and coffee shops. Room was small, but we use it just for sleeping, so IT wasnt so Bad for us. More inportant for us was, that the Room was clean, warm, and the private bathroom, towels changed every day, cleaned every day. Thank you and we will choose it also for our next trips to London. Chiara and Monika

A little bit noisy, sometimes I thought, that our neighbours from the upper rooms were horses from Buckingham palace, but this is not the hotels fault.

Comfy bed and very clean room and new, clean bathroom and shower. Love the location across from Argyle Square. I got lucky and had a window overlooking the Square. It's never really loud in this area and it's so close to Kings Cross. The staff is very accommodating and polite. Cleaning crew nice. I didn't try the breakfast as I usually don't eat til lunch. This was my second time staying in these budget hotels and I liked this one better than the last although it was a bit more expensive. This is great if you want to be out exploring all day and have a clean and comfortable room at night. 11am check out is fair.

The room was tiny, but that was okay. It was only for sleeping and bathing. I would have liked the option for an hour later check out. Even if I had to pay 5 quid. No big deal though.

This hotel was amazing for the value. Step outside and looks right: you can see King’s Cross Station, just two blocks away. My 9 year old and I trained in to Euston Station. Walked 15 minutes to Argo. We had two beds, we had an adequate breakfast - as good as we’d have had at home. The room was clean. Some reviews said it was loud - we use a white noise app on my iPhone everywhere and it worked fine here even with a ground floor room. We had a beautiful walk to the West End to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. For the money I would absolutely stay here again.

For a three night stay this ticked all our boxes. Although not the biggest rooms, the beds were super comfortable, there was multiple working plugs, a kettle in the room, the shower was lovely and the room was cleaned and towels replaced everyday. The staff were lovely and there was a 24 hour reception. There's also breakfast on offer though we didn't go for this. Location wise it was perfect if you're needing to use Kings Cross underground and the train station at both Kings Cross + St Pancreas (a 2 minute walk way) or London Euston (7 minute walk away). There's also a few restaurants around which we found helpful for ordering food on the evenings we weren't eating out.

Although it wasn't a problem for us the rooms aren't the biggest and there isn't any storage space for bags or to hang clothes up (though there are hooks) so take this into account if you're travelling with suitcases and/or needing to hang your clothes up. I'd also say the wi-fi isn't the strongest in the rooms so bare this in mind if you're needing to use it for anything other than a doom scroll before or after bed!

Close to St. Pancras and Euston stations. The room and bathroom are clean. Check-out at 11 am. Tea making facilities available in the room. The breakfast was ok.

My room was on the 3rd floor and I had to use quite steep stairs - while for me it was fine, if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, this can be challenging. The room was tiny, like of a ferry cabin size, but it is ok for one night, if you are there just to sleep. Price - 100+ pounds for a single room in late October - but that's London...
