Great location, close by St Pancras International & King Crossing's station so it was easy to utilize public transport. They offer a few amenities in the room like a kettle and coffee, soap and shower gel, etc. Room was cleaned daily and they provided new towels every day. The hotel will store your bags before check in and after check out.

There's construction work right in front of the hotel and the noise was audible in the morning during the week days. Our room was right underneath the outer smoking area and that was the pathway that lead to the rooms so we'd hear people walking by and talking outside. I wore earplugs to sleep to avoid all the noise. The safe in our room was obsolete.

Very central to all the sites & accessible to the tube/ train station, reasonably priced. There is 24hr concierge & all are very attentive & helpful.

No breakfast option.The street to get to the hotel is a little dodgy . A group of men are always standing to where we pass by that can be intimidating especially at night. The hotel has Tiny bathroom/ showers.

This is a very convenient hotel for Kings Cross/St Pancreas. We stayed following a trip by Eurostar. It's a collection of town houses so lots of windy stairs and rather old fashioned but clean and perfect for a one night stay. The guy on reception was friendly and helpful and the desk is open 24 hours. There are great restaurants nearby (try the Spagnoletti for great Italian).

There's no lift to the upper floors - it's mentioned in the small print but not highlighted - so if you have large cases or mobility issues, you need to specify a ground floor room.

I stayed at The Crestfield Hotel while on a solo trip to London for a few days of West End musical binge-watching and sightseeing — and it turned out to be the perfect base for my stay! The location is amazing — literally a few minutes’ walk from King’s Cross and St Pancras stations, which made getting around London (and to all the theatres) super easy. My room was small but spotless and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. including a Free WiFi service with a good connection. The staff were friendly, helpful, and happy to store my luggage after my check-out time so I could head straight out exploring on my last day yesterday, with my mind at rest, as my flight was in the evening. The area felt safe and convenient with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and transport links right on the doorstep. If you’re travelling solo and want a clean, affordable, and well-located hotel in central London, I’d definitely recommend The Crestfield. It’s simple but has everything you need — and for theatre lovers, you couldn’t pick a better base! I will definitely be back that's for sure...🎭

It's not a question of liking or not liking.....the only thing that comes to mind is that there is no lift to the upper rooms.

Located in walking distance from St. Pancras International Railway station it's ideal for a trip to (central) London. The staff at the reception are friendly and it's nice that they have 24/7 presence and you can pick up your room key from a real person instead of having to memorise a door code. My room was cleaned and the bed was made every day. One small and one larger towel were provided fresh every day. The bathroom was clean and the shower had enough hot water. The liquid soap provided smelled nice. The ventilation in the bathroom worked well (no dampness or odour). You can leave your luggage at the reception if you arrive before check-in time, and also after check-out until your train departs.

I've stayed at the Crestfield Hotel several times already and this was the smallest room I had, to date. Especially the bathroom didn't leave me much manouvering space. The small sink was positioned very low for me (I'm 175cm tall), and the little step to get into the bathroom is something to remember when you're sleepy (!!!) The windows (I had a room at the front of the building, 2nd floor above the entrance) have an extra sliding pane to keep out the street noise (which was good, as there were construction works going on outside), but that also meant that you had to accept the noise if you wanted fresh air during the night.

This was a low cost, near the train station hotel/option that I specifically chose. It was a very tiny room, but not at all inadequate. The purpose was for sleeping as I was sightseeing all day. Staff were on duty 24/7 and each person I spoke with was helpful and kind. TIP - several takeaways in the area for breakfast (within 3 blocks) and there is a lovely courtyard at the hotel with 3 tables to sit at. There is a self-service coffee machine/bar and snacks available for purchase. There is a room dedicated to luggage storage - we arrived at 8:30am and left our luggage there until 6:30pm without any issue. This is NOT a place for people in a wheelchair or with mobility issues - stairs are everywhere. Some small sets of stairs, 2-3 going down to a small hallway where 4 rooms are located and longer stairways to upper floors. Interesting - there are numerous outlets and USB chargers in the room. A single bed, small room, yet there were 6 electrical outlets and 4 USB chargers.

I suggest adding a dim light in the room or on the desk - there is a step up into the bathroom which is a bit hazardous in the dark. I realize this is an older hotel, yet I could hear the people next door talking - very thin walls. I put in my ear plugs and I was fine.

Thing my wife and I liked most was the combination of the price, location, cleanliness of the room, and how great the staff was. Located just a block away from Kings Cross & St. Pancras, it was super convenient to travel to other areas of the city, and it was walking distance to great shopping in dining in SoHo, Camden, and around the train stations. Room was clean. And the staff was very accommodating - notably we asked if they had any desktop fans we could borrow since the oscillating fan on the wall in our room didn't reach the bed, and the staff member at the front desk gave us one of the fans they were using right there at the front desk, no hesitation. And that second fan made all the difference to help us sleep at night.

Honestly can't think of anything that we didn't like. We had zero complaints.

I've stayed at Crestfield previously when I needed to be close to St Pancras for an early morning Eurostar so I knew the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the Eurostar terminal and lots of shops and restaurants for anything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet - small, but perfect for me. I had a kettle and range of teas/coffees, biscuits and choice of water. Shower was perfect. Happy with my choice.

Not a problem to me but as there are no lifts in this or similar properties close by, and as my room was on the third floor, it wasn't easy getting my case up there, help was offered though, so not a problem to me. There were ground floor or easier access rooms so if you need them, please ask.

Everything!! The hotel is in a great location. The staff are amazing.....a big "THANK YOU" to you all!!! The room was made up everyday, the beds were comfortable and the cleanliness could not have been better. All in all excellent value for money.

Due to the age of the building, there is no lift and we had to carry our bags all the way up (and down when we left). There are building works going on across the road and it can get noisy if you open the window. This is not a gripe, rather for the information of others. None of the above bothered us.

Absolutely marvelous location, close by the trains/ underground. Easy access, the room was small, but adequately organized and equipped. Very smart storage under the beds, clean towels daily, complimentary water, lovely shower/ great water pressure. Soundproof windows to block city centre noise was the best surprise and gives you a good night's rest. The ventilator brought some cool into the room.

The only little thing I missed was like a drawer or some other way to have a mini fridge in the room. It was really warm in the room and it would've been nice to have an option for like a small drawer that'd function as a fridge to put like bottle of water or a soda can in to have a cooled drink.
