The location is perfect and the breakfast was very yummy. It is made to order and has some tasty ingredients. I would say that the naming of the breakfast is slightly incorrect, the sausage, beans and bacon used are not typically in an english breakfast.

The overall quality of the room could be improved, the fittings and carpet used are incredibly tired (stains and signs of wear). It would be nice to see this hotel have a revamp over the next few years to give it the real luxury feel. There were also stains on the bedding which was further evidence of a lack of quality and care provided.

We loved the quirky rooms and feel of the hotel. Very steam-punk. The room was comfortable although we would have preferred a king size bed rather than a queen size one. The reception staff were really freindly and helpful and genuinely wanted to rectify the bad experience had at breakfast.

Breakfast was taken in the restaurant attached to the hotel. The options and quality of the food were very good. Unfortunately some of the waiting staff were downright rude. After waiting several minutes to be seated I had to ask for assistance from a member of staff. Other staff had seen us but just ignored us. Breakfast was included in our room charge but we were challenged on leaving and accused of not paying our bill.

Excellent, helpful and timely staff; extremely comfortable bed; great location for local and international trains, close to good grocery stores, shops, cafes and restaurants; spacious, comfortable room; large, great flowing shower rose; fabulous decor; extra items (nail files, cotton wool balls and buds…) in bathroom; and complimentary snacks etc.

Heavy doors not automatically opening and not enough space for mobility impaired or luggage to be easily manoeuvred through certain doorways; not all power points working in our room; no high desk or table (for working or dining); insufficient lighting when curtains closed; shower splashing outside shower area.

The location is great, you can see St Pancras station in background of one of the hotel photos, it's really just a few minutes walk from there which is where we arrived and only 50 steps from the nearest tube station entrance (I counted). The room for two adults and two teenagers was still comfortable and nicely designed with lighting that actually illuminates. The shower had plenty of rapidly warm water and fluffy towels, there's a mini-bar with free chilled still and sparkling water. The staff were friendly and capable and the WiFi was excellent. The area has plenty of places nearby for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee.

The noise from Euston road directly outside is constant until late evening although not too disruptive apart from the occasional motorcyclist speeding away from the traffic lights.

The location is super convenient and a quick walk across the road from the St Pancras/Kings Cross Station, when arriving on the Eurostar from Paris and easy to find with the striking colour scheme of the building. While our room was small, it had 2 lounge chairs and the bed was the most comfortable we had on our 3 weeks of traveling. The shower and products provided were great too. The restaurant for breakfast was fine as well. The staff were approachable and helpful. We stayed 2 nights, and have stayed before. We will stay again if ever in central London, again.

The location is perfect for anyone needed to take one of the very early Eurostar trains from St. Pancras (which is why I had booked it). Given the early morning departure from the hotel (5:45am), we didn't get an opportunity to try out the restaurant for breakfast. The en-suite bathroom was lovely. I particularly liked the coffee machine with the expresso pods as I like real coffee and the hotel branded lager plus soft drinks in the fridge, which were included in the price along with crisps, etc. I booked at the last minute and the price (by central London standards) seemed very reasonable. Front desk staff were very friendly.

We had booked in for a Friday night and one could hear live music from somewhere nearby. To be fair, it had stopped by 9:30pm, but it was annoying given that we had planned on a very early start. Otherwise, I don't recall any other issues.

The location was great! Literally across the street from St Pancras/Kings Cross. I chose this hotel as we were on an early Eurostar train to Paris, and I made a good choice! We were within walking distance to lots of cool shops etc and hopped on the Tube to get to the rest of the city. The room was super comfortable and we loved the quirky decorations. We faced St Pancras station and the street noise was not bad at all (you are in London so it's silly to complain about noise!) The staff interactions we had were courteous and helpful. All in all a great stay!

I returned to The Megaro after staying there over 10 years ago. I was excited to return as I enjoyed my stay, the hotel and my room back then. Was I excited as previous? Not so much. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a nice place and all but I was a tad underwhelmed. Maybe I had romanticised my memory of the hotel or had the hotel become a bit tired, overpriced (yes, that could have been due to it being the Easter weekend) and not that special: I still can’t answer that question. It’s in a brilliant location. Lively, busy, tube station close by. I could walk to anything. And I did The breakfast was fantastic in the cafe/restaurant attached to the hotel. Great food. Awesome coffee. Lovely staff. Overall. It was ok. Would I stay at The Megaro again? Probably not considering there are so many options available.

I was upgraded to the corner room which I usually stay at. Megaro is the hotel I always stay at whenever I travel to London via KIng's cross or St Pancras. Location is best, walking distance to Coal drops yard, Granary Square and Camden. Rooms are large enough for packing and unpacking, amenities are complete, with bathrobe, slippers, shampoo, conditioner and soaps plus lotion with a lovely sandalwood scent. The corner room overlooks King's cross and St Pancras makes an excellent choice when travelling this way. Staff are always helpful and very efficient.

Great service and value for a four star room in front of King's Cross. We had a bigger than usual room with a view with a limited deal special via booking.com. Despite the heavy traffic the noise did not come through and we did not have to use ear plugs. The complimentary mini bar was a surprise. The Italian restaurant served a decent choice of full English breakfast and offered other diverse choices. Good for dining too. If you want more quiet ask for the rooms overlooking the side street.

The shower and water pressure could be upgraded.
