I enjoyed my 3-day stay at Apollo Kings Cross Hotel in a small but comfy room for two with a private bathroom, perfect for my trip to explore the city. The staff were lovely—quickly resolved an issue, let us check in early, and stored our luggage on the last day so we could sightsee without bags. Great location near King’s Cross!

I have no complaints—the hotel was great for exploring the city and a short stay. The room and bathroom furnishings were old but well-maintained and relatively clean—minor dirt was noticeable only upon close inspection. The staff’s kindness made for a pleasant stay, and the price was good compared to other accommodation options in this part of London.

* The hotel was situated a spitting distance from the station. * The beds were comfortable and clean. * The receptionist was friendly, pleasant and helpful. * There were fresh towels. * The room included a telly, kettle, an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer for us to use.

* The walls were thin and sound carried easily through them and through the doors, which slammed noisily every time guests entered or exited their rooms, which happened late at night (~12am) and early in the morning (~5am) when we were there, so it was somewhat hard to get sleep (maybe bring plugs or muffs if you plan on staying here). * The sink in the en suite was pretty miniscule, so washing my face involved a bit of contortionism to cup my hands in the sink. * The stairs were somewhat steep and uneven, though most other places I stayed at in London have also featured the same (a lot of acommodation in the area seem to mostly be tall and narrow).

Great location and great value for money. The room was clean, ready early and had everything I needed. The bathroom was a little dated but super clean and there was plenty of hot water. The room was super quiet and I woke up refreshed to go back to the office! This is a basic hotel, great value, great location. I did a quick overnight stay and just needed a bed for the night so it was perfect for me.

We arrived early but our room was ready which was fab. The room was small but had everything we needed and staff were so helpful and friendly. The location could not have been better for us as Euston station was a short walk, Coal Drops yard was a few minutes walk and we found a great Italian restaurant (Casa Tua) moments away.

Our room was on the 2nd floor so lots of stairs to negotiate...not a problem for us but could be for some.

Our room was at the back of the hotel so it was reasonably quiet. It was well decorated and clean and the beds were comfortable. It's really handy for Kings Cross. The lady who let us in and gave us our keys was really friendly and helpful.

We had a twin room and the beds were narrower than the standard 3 foot wide. Like a lot of hotels, when you try to fill the kettle from the sink, it doesn't fit! When you walk in the front door, you wonder what you've let yourself in for as its so narrow and cluttered but once you get to your room it's good.

Location ideal only a few minutes from kings cross. We were in room 2. Pleasant little room. Clean and had what we needed which was a place to freshen up and rest on a busy weekend of plans. Met my expectations and I would stay again.

Shower temperature was difficult to get right and the bed was on the smaller size for a double but I'm being picky.

Having a fire alarm at 6.30am in the morning which was a false alarm when only me and my friend jumped out of bed and ran out when no one else did then when we returned to our room we had a knock on door from the staff asking if we pushed the alarm or was we talking a shower for the alarm to be set off. Me and my friend was asleep not taking a shower very confused 😕

Staff where really friendly and helpful, allowed us to leave our luggage when we arrived before check in time. Requested a ground floor room due to mobility which they were able to accommodate. Great central location - 5 mins walk from Kings Cross station.

Nothing particular, could possibly do with a little bit work, curtain rail was a little loose from general wear and tear but nothing that would put me off staying again.

Very central location. Within 5 minutes walk to the Kings Cross St. Pancras station, which covers most metro lines in central London. Perfect location to get around London easily with the metro. Also, within 30-40 mins walk to most places as well, so if you don't mind walking (like myself) then the location is perfect too! Friendly host. Came earlier than normal checkin time and was offered a different room that was already ready, but I chose to wait for the room I booked and the cleaning of it. Great gesture though. Clean bed sheets. Clean bathroom. Stayed 3 nights and they changed my towels ones, which was fine. A great find and value compared to the money I paid for the hotel. If you travel alone , want a great location, don't spend too much time in the hotel, and don't expect anything fancy but a place to sleep, then this is your place.

The walls might need an update with the paint. You don't really know how clean the room is, since the floor is covered with a carpet, which does not look super clean, but also it looked okay. Be aware you need to call the receptionist upon arrival, but they respond quick, and they will meet you at the front door within 1-2 minutes.

Very short walk away from King’s Cross station which was ideal since we had an early train to catch the next morning, but I would happily stay longer if we had been staying longer in London. Wi-fi, I love that there were biscuits included with the tea/coffee! Comfortable bed, our room had an ensuite.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I have seen a lot of bad reviews about this place but I think some people are a bit precious.
