We needed a very early checkout as booked on early Eurostar. Nothing was a problem, the hotel had a way of managing this. Location was perfect just minutes away. Being able to leave our luggage as we checked in early was also so welcome. Room was very compact, but spotlessly clean, nicely finished and had everything we needed. Hot chocolate sachets as well as tea and coffee were much appreciated.

Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift, and the narrow stairs may not be easy for some people to manage. I’m sure the hotel reception staff will be as accommodating as possible.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to King's Cross, and it can be reached directly from Heathrow Airport by underground. There are shops, restaurants, the British Library, St. Pancras, and Euston Station nearby, and many major landmarks are within 1-2 hours' walking distance as well. The hotel staff is also extremely kind and helpful.

The walls are a bit thin, so in the ground floor room you can hear the footsteps of the guests above. After nearly 10 kilometers of walking each day, it was definitely not disturbing. :) However, apart from this, it is generally a quiet accommodation — no outside noise comes through. Only the early morning underground trains can be heard, but for me, even that was a pleasant experience.

Fairway Hotel is brilliant: great location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, reasonably quiet (some traffic noise but it is central London and some noise from people moving around upstairs, nothing unexpected), fantastic price, free strong WI-FI, sheets/ towels smell clean. We have a family room. I will say that there has been very good use of space: there is a small gap between each of the three beds to walk through and the bathroom is tiny but very functional. It is not a spacious room, there is an area to store suitcases so that they are not in the way. There is tea, coffee, TV, soap/ body wash, clean towels, huge wardrobe, small desk with chair in the room. Oh and two windows which open (one in the main room and the other in the bathroom). The gentleman on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about the place.

Really great location only a few minutes walk from Kings Cross. Surprisingly quiet in terms of location and in the hotel which I appreciated. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room and bathroom very clean. Beds very comfortable. Extra bonus was being able to leave our bags free of charge on the day we checked out so we didn't have to find somewhere else. Would book to stay here again.

A slightly larger basin in the bathroom would have been good along with a small shelf to be able to put things on. We had booked a basic room which was small and just that little bit of extra space would have been nice.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful: when I arrived early, it was no problem to leave my bag and explore the city first. The room was very basic, but as clean as can be, and that's the most important to me. The other spaces (hotel lobby, hallways, stairs) also seemed very clean and well-maintained. The room has windows that can be opened, which I really appreciated, as so many hotels don't allow for fresh air! There's no safety mechanism on the window, however, so if you're traveling with small children this might not be ideal. Finally, the location is fantastic, especially if you arrive by Eurostar: it's a literal 2-min walk from the station. This is not just ideal when you're arriving and departing, but also whenever you have to get back on the subway: several lines have a stop at King's Cross, and if they don't it's easy to transfer to one that does!

There was nothing that truly bothered or disappointed me, but there are a few things worth pointing out: - there is no elevator in the hotel, so be prepared for some stairs if you're on the third floor; - the rooms are locked and opened with a physical key, not a key card. Extra important to keep track of your keys; - the doors don't have peepholes; - reception is closed between midnight and 8.a.m. If you arrive later, you'll need to enter with your key; - while I was there, some A/C or heating unit seemed to be running outside. In the night, I heard a constant low hum. It didn't bother me because it felt like white noise, but it's worth mentioning.

Hair dryer in room. Radiator in room with thermostat. Good amount of tea/coffee. Wall mounted TV with all catch up channels. Was allowed to check in early which really helped me. Really close to Kings Cross so easy to catch tube. Shampoo & conditioner on wall in shower. Changed towels daily. Made bed for me! Room not huge but more than adequate. Bathroom was a tad small, more like a wet room but again perfectly adequate. Mirror on wall.in bedroom right by plug so able to dry hair. Nice Kandinsky print on wall.

Nothing...good value for money.

Very central to everywhere and bus and rail all at the end of the road, so makes London very accessible. Room was clean to a good standard and beds clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities updated daily as was cleaning. Very impressed and will definitely stay again when in London and the price for our 3 night stay was very competitive compared to other establishments in the area, who were sometimes offering less

One minor issue was the step as you entered the shower and toilet, not clearly marked and is bit of a trip hazard, especially for the elderly. Red t re my

The hotel is really really close to the station and we could reach any destination within 20 minutes both with buses and metro without changing lines. It also has many cafes, mini markets, restaurants to choose from.

Unfortunately the walls are very thin and could hear everything happening in the room below us (couples fighting/making up, a guy throwing up, metro passing etc.). Also the wifi was kinda weak in our room so I couldn’t use it.

The location is perfect, 3 min walk from King Cross International station, metro and train. Close to Camden Town, many food stores and restaurants. The room was small but comfy, the shower was warm and good stream water pressure. There was a kettle with coffee/tea/sugar and a cup/spoon for a quick breakfast. It was very clean, with cleaning room service. The staff was helpful and friendly. I asked for an extra towel and that was ok. And by arrival I was a bit too early but that was no problem, they hold my luggage and sent me a message when my room was ready. They even took my luggage to the room! 😊 Great value for money!

The room was on the 3rd floor by stairs. It was facing the street, which was a bit too noisy. It’s a busy area with lots of cars, buses and there is a hospital very close to it. I could hear the ambulance quite a lot. But this was not much a thing. The room is very small, for a couple of days is ok but not for longer stays. The tv is quite basic, no Netflix. But this is a minor thing.

Loved the location of this hotel - it’s just across the street from St. Pancras and King’s Cross station. I got to the major sites conveniently with the tube. The room was cozy but tidy, clean and functional. There’s reception from 8 am to midnight, staff were always friendly and greeted me whenever I entered or exited. The staff who checked me in was really helpful and assisted me by carrying my luggage up three flights of stairs to my room!

The hotel is near Euston Street and on Friday night there was occasional street noise. Some minor fixes needed in the room (room was only partially cleaned one day, but that might have been because I returned in the afternoon and stayed in my room for a while while the cleaner was cleaning the other rooms) but nothing major.
