We needed a very early checkout as booked on early Eurostar. Nothing was a problem, the hotel had a way of managing this. Location was perfect just minutes away. Being able to leave our luggage as we checked in early was also so welcome. Room was very compact, but spotlessly clean, nicely finished and had everything we needed. Hot chocolate sachets as well as tea and coffee were much appreciated.

Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift, and the narrow stairs may not be easy for some people to manage. I’m sure the hotel reception staff will be as accommodating as possible.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to King's Cross, and it can be reached directly from Heathrow Airport by underground. There are shops, restaurants, the British Library, St. Pancras, and Euston Station nearby, and many major landmarks are within 1-2 hours' walking distance as well. The hotel staff is also extremely kind and helpful.

The walls are a bit thin, so in the ground floor room you can hear the footsteps of the guests above. After nearly 10 kilometers of walking each day, it was definitely not disturbing. :) However, apart from this, it is generally a quiet accommodation — no outside noise comes through. Only the early morning underground trains can be heard, but for me, even that was a pleasant experience.

The hotel location is really good! Very close to several stations and close to nice cafés and bookstores. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself had a hot drinks station and a small tv with many stations.

The room was quite small and cramped, which is fine for one or two nights. Opening a big suitcase would only be possible if you opened it on the bed, so one or two small suitcases would be easier. The mattress was not ideal, feeling a bit thin and springy and the blanket was very hot and synthetic. There was a small fan for if it gets hot, but it was still quite warm in the room overnight (we stayed in the beginning of June).

The hotel is directly opposite St Pancras station so excellent for Eurostar departures. We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always clean and there is a warm welcome. It’s good vfm for a a major city hotel, a treat to get a comp tea tray at this price, also toiletries and en suite shower room

I booked a ground floor room, due to having cases with us, and to be fair the description did say it would be small. However it was tiny, even by London standards. I’m not sure that it was even a full size double, and no Air con, so it was a hot sweaty scrunched up night for us.

Fairway Hotel is brilliant: great location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, reasonably quiet (some traffic noise but it is central London and some noise from people moving around upstairs, nothing unexpected), fantastic price, free strong WI-FI, sheets/ towels smell clean. We have a family room. I will say that there has been very good use of space: there is a small gap between each of the three beds to walk through and the bathroom is tiny but very functional. It is not a spacious room, there is an area to store suitcases so that they are not in the way. There is tea, coffee, TV, soap/ body wash, clean towels, huge wardrobe, small desk with chair in the room. Oh and two windows which open (one in the main room and the other in the bathroom). The gentleman on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about the place.

The room was tiny but I knew it would be Could do with some decoration in places…radiator etc But none of this deterred from a cheap over night stop and a good sleep

Really great location only a few minutes walk from Kings Cross. Surprisingly quiet in terms of location and in the hotel which I appreciated. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room and bathroom very clean. Beds very comfortable. Extra bonus was being able to leave our bags free of charge on the day we checked out so we didn't have to find somewhere else. Would book to stay here again.

A slightly larger basin in the bathroom would have been good along with a small shelf to be able to put things on. We had booked a basic room which was small and just that little bit of extra space would have been nice.

Excellent location for Kings Cross and St Pancras as it's only across the road, 3 minute walk. Perfect for Eurostar. We received a friendly welcome and our room was ready early so that was a bonus. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for an overnight stay including a good tea tray in the room and a hairdryer. Great value for money !

The bathroom was a little on the small side but I guess space is at a premium in this location. I would happily stay here again.

Hair dryer in room. Radiator in room with thermostat. Good amount of tea/coffee. Wall mounted TV with all catch up channels. Was allowed to check in early which really helped me. Really close to Kings Cross so easy to catch tube. Shampoo & conditioner on wall in shower. Changed towels daily. Made bed for me! Room not huge but more than adequate. Bathroom was a tad small, more like a wet room but again perfectly adequate. Mirror on wall.in bedroom right by plug so able to dry hair. Nice Kandinsky print on wall.

Nothing...good value for money.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful: when I arrived early, it was no problem to leave my bag and explore the city first. The room was very basic, but as clean as can be, and that's the most important to me. The other spaces (hotel lobby, hallways, stairs) also seemed very clean and well-maintained. The room has windows that can be opened, which I really appreciated, as so many hotels don't allow for fresh air! There's no safety mechanism on the window, however, so if you're traveling with small children this might not be ideal. Finally, the location is fantastic, especially if you arrive by Eurostar: it's a literal 2-min walk from the station. This is not just ideal when you're arriving and departing, but also whenever you have to get back on the subway: several lines have a stop at King's Cross, and if they don't it's easy to transfer to one that does!

There was nothing that truly bothered or disappointed me, but there are a few things worth pointing out: - there is no elevator in the hotel, so be prepared for some stairs if you're on the third floor; - the rooms are locked and opened with a physical key, not a key card. Extra important to keep track of your keys; - the doors don't have peepholes; - reception is closed between midnight and 8.a.m. If you arrive later, you'll need to enter with your key; - while I was there, some A/C or heating unit seemed to be running outside. In the night, I heard a constant low hum. It didn't bother me because it felt like white noise, but it's worth mentioning.
