He location across from the station is what we wanted. We knew rooms would probably be on the small side as we knew the property. It was clean, there was an abundance of tea and coffee in the room and in the bathroom an excellent shower and toilet facilities. The food at the attached restaurant was really good. We would use it again. The ratings I have given re property related to properties in general. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

I had rang in advance to check if there was a lift and was told there was, however I was not told that the lift was accessed by a flight of stairs and didn’t stop on every floor so my disabled companion really struggled to get to the lift and still had to climb a flight of stairs from the lift to our floor. This should be made clear on the description of the hotel.

If you are looking for a well located property around Kings Cross Station this is a good place to stay. Close to tube links to centre of London. There are some good restaurants around and the very trendy Coal yard area around the canal.

The mattress in our room is in some serious need of replacement as every spring could be felt. I would suggest that reception be a bit friendlier. I know that most of the people that might stay at the hotel might be more of the backpack fraternity, but there are some of us that travel for enjoyment and have taken a liking to this hotel because of its location and its value i.t.o location and comfort.

The room was clean and the bathroom was clean and modern. There was a mini fridge in the room which was so helpful for keeping our snacks/fruit fresh. I wish more hotels would have one in the room. The double bed and single bed were comfy. Just what we needed as a place to stay after spending all day out in London. The room was small but that wasn't a problem for us personally, just noting it as it may be an issue for some.

If I am being really picky, the room probably could have done with a lick of paint where it had been chipped off on corners etc from the usual wear and tear. But we weren't bothered about that for the cheap price we paid and in a great location opposite King's Cross. We don't have mobility problems but if you have mobility problems let the hotel know when booking or look for alternative accomodation. We were on the third floor, to take the lift you need to go down a set of stairs. When we got to the third floor, there was approx 3 or 4 steps up to our room.

We had to be in St Pancras at 6am and this hotel is just across the road, so excellent location. We had supper in a good Italian restaurant round the corner, and got 10% reduction because we were staying in this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful, given the weight of our luggage and our age! We stayed here as well on our return journey, and again very helpful staff organised an Uber-cab for 12.30 to take us to Victoria coach station. We were also able to leave our luggage in their luggage store whilst having breakfast in St Pancras. We will definitely use again.

Excellent location directly opposite Kings Cross and St Pancras stations with friendly staff and comfortable, but basic, room. Easy to find and access, although stairs may present an issue for some travellers. There may have been a lift however? No food provided in the hotel, but lots of places to eat right on the door step so wasn't an issue. There was breakfast provided at another location, but as we checked out early 6am, we missed it so can comment on it really. Checking in was easy enough, staff were pleasant and friendly. Our room was on 1st floor, and we had a fairly nice view of the station outside. Facilities in the room were good, kettle and tea/coffee provided, and a large under counter fridge. There was a TV, plenty of sockets/charging points, and lamps, etc. We had a twin room and beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for 2 adults and a child. Bathroom was en suite and clean enough. We only stayed one night between trains, and this hotel suited our needs perfectly. However, would also perfectly suit a longer stay if you're looking for a place to just sleep. Would definitely stay again.

Had to leave a pre-authorised deposit upon arrival which would be collected if we were to smoke in the room. Understand the reasons for it, but wasn't expecting it.

Proximity to both Kings Cross and St Pancras International was ideal for our trip from South of France to the West of Scotland. Staff were very helpful ensuring that we could manoeuvre our heavy luggage through the stairs and lift and corridors of this old hotel. The family room was room with a good shower, very clean but with original windows there was a bit of traffic noise from the streets belowl

We should have notified the hotel that we needed an accessible room which was our problem not theirs. Unfortunately as they were very busy they could not adjust the room we had.
