Keystone House is an ideally situated modern hotel, less than a 5-minute walk from St Pancras International railway station. It's 4-stars in terms of what it offers in its price bracket, not a true 4-star hotel. Rooms are small but functional, clean and bright. Beds are comfortable with 2 pillows each and reading lights. The shower rooms are small, but modern and clean. There is a wall-mounted Smart TV with many apps available in addition to traditional services. Rooms have an individually controlled air conditioner which we found to be silent and very efficient warming the room quickly on cold winter nights. Instant coffee and tea sachets only are provided, however there is a Sainsbury’s Local next door which offers decent bean-to-cup coffee included as part of a very good-value hot or cold food, "meal deal". So, breakfast is taken care of! Our room was on the ground floor with no windows, which was not a problem for us. It's possible that some rooms are noisy as ear plugs were provided; we did not need these as we did not experience any noise issues. There is an adjacent pub, The Scottish Stores, with an interleading door from the hotel reception area. This pub offers a 10% discount to hotel residents. Access from the street, as well as to corridors, the pub and rooms is granted with a single code provided in advance of arrival. TIP: make sure you check in before arrival to ensure you receive your access code. There is a reception desk, but we noted that this is not always attended. Apparently, there is a paid luggage storage option, but we opted to use the luggage storage at St Pancras International which is open until mid-evening, daily. In short, this hotel is ideal for short stays in London. It is ideally situated and offers good value. We'd certainly return.

3 mins walk to Saint Pancreas international train station. Easy to find and to save a problem climbing up the stairs with my suitcase, I booked a ground floor room with no window, and it was well furnished and clean. The air-conditioning was easy to control, and the facilities were fine, and I would go there again.

Everything was good about this hotel for the price I paid, but the conform of the bed was not very good at all. It won't stop me going there again, but the bed let down an otherwise very good experience.

We loved the kitchen in the apartment room, we were able to make food we bought from the Tesco Express just down the street. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower was really nice, and they had a towel warmer, which was a nice perk. It felt like we had our own little flat in London! The staff was friendly, and the location was great, being close to the train station as well as shops and cafes. It is a non-traditional hotel, where you are given a code to use to get into the hotel and room, and there is no elevator- but we knew all this and it didn’t impact our stay negatively.

Just returned from a one night stay at the Keystone. Check in was very easy and accessing the room was too. Really nice room so close to Kings Cross station. For the price I paid the room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was lovely with a much larger shower than any of the other hotels I’ve stayed in around the UK. The price really wasn’t expensive at all. A nice bonus was that the tv has Netflix and YouTube built in unlike most hotels where you’re stuck with a few freeview channels that never has much to watch. I would absolutely stay here again.

No lift but it ok because I knew as mentioned on the website so I use ruck stack instead.

Booked the apartment room for myself and my daughter, the room was clean, tidy and airy as we arrive, it was nice to know we had a little kitchen, had some cutlery, plates bowls, pans included and a mini fridge (note it was switched off when we arrived so will take a small amount of time to chill before use) AC is in the room too and was nice for the hot nights. It was a small walk of 3mins from King's Cross Station, had shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways in close proximity. Has streaming services, "Netflix" (just make sure you log out your account when you leave, sometimes it does automatically log you out). Lovely stay.

On arrival as a self check in it was a bit confusing with which door to go into but they have signs up to let you know and there was a gentleman there who helped. The stairs that are pre-warned about were very tiring, so if you book the higher levels just make sure you have the stamina for it. The bed was okay but did have a comforter underneath which for some people maybe be uncomfortable and the bed sheet was slightly shifted (lumpy) even as it was laid flat, but presented beautifully. If unable to figure it out the shower pressure was slightly weak but that may have just been how I used it, just ask in advance. All in all, the facilities was great to use.

Excellent location, close to tube and lots of bars, pubs and restaurants. Staff are so lovely and helpful—super welcoming!! Aircon works well to cool the room, our aircon did have an error message but the hotel staff sorted it straight away, great customer service. Comfy bed with plenty of plugs, shower pressure was good too. We paid to store our luggage and whilst we were out, the staff took our bags up to your room which was so so nice!! Thank you for a lovely stay. Good facilities—kettle, tea, coffee etc.. the hairdryer was powerful and good, and iron was good too. The free drink with your stay at the pub was a nice touch too, and biscuits and chocolate in your room.

You had to pay to store luggage—I’ve never had to pay for luggage storage for a hotel I was staying in before, but the staff were very lovely and took good care of your belongings, the room was locked and secure. The curtains were very dusty, we opened the curtain in the morning and dust flew on over the bed—we just fluffed up the bed to get rid of the dust and it was fine.

The room was really clean and fantastic. Location was really great, we were a 2 minute walk from St Pancras underground so we could get pretty much anywhere in London within 20 minutes. Also, we got a free drink at the bar downstairs which is affiliated with the hotel, that was a really nice touch and it's open late if you fancy a night cap.

I really could not figure out the airconditioning unit! It was either too hot or too cold. In fairness, I should have just asked reception. The only think I really didn't like was that they were fully booked for the weekend because of the marathon so we couldn't extend our stay!

The location of Keystone House is excellent - easy to reach from the airports and well connected to explore any part of London. There is a small supermarket in the next house and another one on the next street. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Getting in and out with the access code was easy. Wifi was functioning well. The house itself is a bit of a labyrinth. We did not mind the steep stairs and climbing to the 4th floor. However, it may not suit everybody.

Our biggest disappointment was the kitchenette in the apartment-type of room. Although having a proper stove and fridge, the rest of the equipment was poor. Most of all, even the basic cutlery was missing (no large spoons, no forks) and the water boiler did not work properly. Also, the function of cleaning remained a bit unclear. Although the cleaning person entered our room every day and was very persistent in making the bed, s/he did not clean the floors or take out garbage.

It was in a great location close to public transportation, bars and food. This room had a window despite the description saying there were none. Clean. Our room was quiet, which is not always the case when near or over a drinking establishment. KH provided a complimentary drink for the pub below the hotel. Overall, satisfied.

The hallway to the room was not level and had several unusual steps along its length to our room. Not a big issue for us, but it should be noted. A foldout single bed was provided that we tried unsuccessfully to fold closed. We used it to place our bags on.

The room was cosy, well decorated, quiet, ideal for my needs. The bed was very comfortable, I had arrived after a 10 hour overnight flight, and a rush hour taxi ride from Heathrow. Perfect location for my train home to Scotland, from Kings Cross the next morning, a five minute walk away. All the staff were kind, thoughtful and helpful. Suggested a great Italian to eat in, on the same street. Coffees, teas etc in the room were good quality to start my day's journeying. I am a single women travelling alone and felt completely safe, I would happily stay there again.

No complaints at all. The price was very reasonable and everything was as I expected it to be.
