Fantastic location close to Kings Cross/St Pancras. Room was comfortable and Clean. Staff were very welcoming and polite. We were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after check out which was a huge help.

An option for a breakfast box would have been a nice touch, and a bottle of water in the room/or a glass to use. It was quite noisy between the rooms, ear plugs were needed.

The hotel was immaculate. Everything looked new and clean. I was able to check in and drop my bags after getting off the train at St Pancras, then head into the city. It was only 2 mins walk from the station. I was able to leave my bags for the day after I’d checked out too.

The bed was a little hard for my liking and I would have liked extra blankets in the room.

What a little gem of a hotel!! Five minutes walk from King's Cross. So clean, welcoming, and had everything you'd need for a short break in London. Rooms are compact but have been well thought out and very stylish. Really comfy beds, had the best 2 nights sleep I've had in ages!! Superb value for money and will definitely be our go to property when we visit again!! Oh!! And if you get the chance, you must see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - it's absolutely incredible!! Wizzo!!! 🫶🪄

There was nothing we could fault with The Howard Winchester. Didn't need a hairdryer whilst I was there, but not sure if there was one in the room. I'm sure if I'd needed one though and asked at reception, they would have arranged.

Every year I go to London in October and I have been in three different hotels. I liked the Howard Winchester hotel the most. It is very close to the train station and underground. My single room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff at reception were very friendly. I will return to the Howard Winchester hotel next year, without a doubt.

So close to Train Station, clean and comfortable

I stayed in a very small room, but it had everything I needed for a short and comfortable stay. Despite the limited space, the room was clean, well-organised, and surprisingly convenient. Everything I needed was within easy reach, and I appreciated how efficiently the space was used. The location was excellent — just a short walk from London Kings Cross station, which made getting around the city very easy. It’s also close to the British Library and lots of other interesting places for tourists to explore. For the price, this hotel offered great value. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, budget-friendly stay in a central London location.

Exactly what you paid for and what you see in the pictures. The rooms are great for those who want somewhere okay and calm (compared to a hostel let’s say) to sleep, but will be out for most od the day. If you don’t want any special stuff (spa, pool …) and if you are ok with getting food on your own (eating out, ordering, eating at Pret a Manger … – there’s lots of options at different price points around), this will be for you. The location is ok, if you want to see a big part of the City there is no best area for you to stay in, as all the attractions are spread out. This hotel has great connectivity via King’s Cross Underground, and buses are okay too.

The only annoying thing is that above my floor (I was staying ground level, so floor 1) the floor (presumably old wooden boards) were squeaky, which meant hearing people in the room above. Quite loudly one night … Otherwise, no complaints.

Good location – around 6 minute walk to London St Pancras Station, which made getting around very easy. Just be aware that there’s no elevator, and our room was on the 3rd or 4th floor, so it may not be ideal if you’re not comfortable carrying luggage up stairs. Our room faced a park where lots of people played basketball, so it could get a bit noisy during the day – something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper or planning an afternoon nap. Overall, convenient but best suited for those okay with a bit of activity around.
