I can't stress too highly how nice the people are who run this place. They put exceptional effort into making you feel welcome. Nice room, slightly funky vibe worked really well. Not cheap, but on a par with what you get in London these days.

Do ask them to turn the radiator off before arrive. The room was hot and there isn't great ventilation. The hotel is on the south side of Argyll Square. That should be a peaceful spot, but the entire block along the north side of the square is a construction site and I guess will be all year, so don't expect tranquil during the day.

I stay in a lot of hotels for both work and leisure and there is something very special this hotel: the pre arrival comms, the Marshall amp fridge, the more generous gift than any gift I have had from a U.K. hotel before, the handwritten greeting and - of course - the 8am tea trolley brought to our door for breakfast! Amazing location too - so close to Coal Drops Yard and overlooking a beautiful square.

No facilities outside the room itself, but you know the score before you arrive so that was no problem at all for us!

Location was fantastic. In a quieter street off of the King’s Cross/St Pancras area, but only 3ish blocks to walk to get there. Lots of restaurants and other resources (Tesco Express, Boots, etc.) in easy walking distance. 24-hr concierge number was always responsive and helpful! The property was cute, quirky, and had all the amenities I needed. The tea delivery every morning was an absolutely delightful touch.

The cleaning staff were a bit inconsistent about what they cleaned when (I said I didn’t need any service a couple times, and that seemed to throw them off). Some of them were also pretty loud in nearby rooms and supply areas. (I’m glad that they were seemingly having fun at their job— but it’s important to consider that perhaps folks are on odd hours due to travels and jet lag!)

Location was amazingly handy to Eurostar, and to access London by cab or tube. We arrived a little early but we were met by Niue (sorry, a delightful Brazilian man on the staff). He explained how we accessed our room, took our luggage to mind for us until we could move in, and was incredibly nice to deal with. When we came back, he had placed our luggage in the room…but not just that. He saw that we had a fair amount of luggage and were tired, and he had upgraded us to a better room, on the ground floor. He was a delight. The room was cute, had real space and a very cool window to a decorated atrium. The bed was very comfy. The minibar was free, they delivered a snack and fresh pot of tea (each) the next morning. The room wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it all. When we checked out, he stored our bags free for the day, and then arranged a cab to take us to the airport to fly home to Australia. Best hotel experience and employee of our three week trip.

Room was a tiny bit stuffy, a small fan would have been ace.

This is such a lovely and funky hotel which is so near Kings Cross and St Pancras, making it really handy for travelling onwards. The room was comfortable with lots of quirky and generous touches such as a welcoming cucumber sandwich and tea delivered on a tray every morning! The bathroom was spacious, with a great shower and there was a handy fridge stocked with wine and soft drinks, on the house. Yannis and his colleagues were such kind, friendly and welcoming hosts who took great care of use. We look forward to our next trip to The Rokxy Townhouse!

Everything was great.

I loved my room and the location really suited my needs as I had to be near the St Pancreas train station. I arrived very late and was a bit disorientated but was delighted to discover there were cucumber sandwiches waiting for me. That was beyond brilliant! Before my arrival I was asked for my preferences in terms of chocolate and drinks but frankly did not have the time to deal with those questions. On arrival I found a fridge full of an assortment of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks which was fabulous, There was a coffee machine and microwave in the room which was excellent as I like to have milky coffee.The next day I requested decaffeinated coffee pods and they were immediately delivered. I then cheekily said I liked chocolate and after a short amount of time a huge chocolate dump arrived at my room. It was hilarious!

It was all fabulous but may I make a gentle suggestion that you include in your fridge a small carton of semi skimmed fresh milk. I hate those awful processed milk pods.

Amazing location. Literally cross the road or subway at kings cross and 3 mins up a road or go right if you want to pass a Morrisons or co op for any goodies for your room.. Very good value for centre of.london. but with that it's a bit smaller than an out.of town hotel. But they make up for that with all sorts of treats and friendliness. You couldn't ask for more I won't spell out as that would take the suprises away.. Definitely going to use this hotel again or their sister one on same square.. Love that it's 4 stops from Liverpool Street my station home. Love the coal area round kings cross and it's only a few sub stops from Piccadilly china town etc etc So perfect Special shout out to Hossain for his friendly morning nature..

All good. But we was in room 12. That's the top if you struggle through injury age or fitness stay at 5 or 6 at most If your fit. 12 is best views and quieter etc

Nice room - it was all the little extra touches that made the stay more welcoming. Free well stocked mini bar, crips, chocolate and a sandwich waiting on arrival plus a jar of Fortnum and Mason's jam as a little gift. In the morning, although there wasn't breakfast, there were pots of tea a newspaper and fresh towels delivered to the door. Pre booking, lots of communication including someone calling us to make sure we had the codes to get in. In addition lots of emails to explain how there were other facilities available via the nearby partner hotels (free coffee and bag collection and storage)

The hotel is advertised as having onsite parking on booking.com but when enquiring post booking we were informed that the parking was not available and alternative arrangements should be made.

Excellent location for my needs. Communication with staff and attentiveness during the stay was fabulous. Lots of additional touches which weren't all required (e.g. Sandwich waiting on arrival, morning paper, free mini bar)

I would stay here again on the strength of the attentiveness of the owners. However, the room and definitely the bathroom required attention in terms of decor and maintenance. The bed was comfortable but there was no mattress or pillow protectors which is off putting. Wi-fi was poor and affected TV reception. Would rather attention was made to these details rather than a sandwich oin arrival, pot of jam as a gift, breakfast snacks, which I unfortunately could not eat

Great location, very central and overlooking a green. The room was nicely decorated and had all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. My bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The room was spotless and bathroom immaculate! The hosts were some of the best I’ve come across. I had cucumber sandwiches ready in my room on arrival, the mini bar was very well stocked and they really do make you feel at home and very welcomed. I had tea brought to my door in a beautiful teapot and cup and saucer in the morning. I thought it was exceptional value for money and would highly recommend this lovely hotel. Communication was also excellent with clear instructions. I had no problems at all during my stay.

Nothing to dislike! All very good! I will be a returning customer!
