Gorgeous and spacious room, late check in available until midnight, location was lovely, bed was comfy, value for money was superb and it was a very peaceful night with no noise. Couldn't recommend more!

Generally clean. Good location, with nice restaurants around.

The third bed was too small in height. If your child or 3rd visitor has a normal height it is impossible to sleep there. The room was clean in general, but in details it needs attention. The second staircase is too narrow. 24hrs before our arrival they asked for a guarantee of 100£ (refundable). Even though we book our stay 1 week earlier, they did it 24hrs before without considering if we already started our trip. The guarantee refunded 1 week later, after our email. They send entrance details just a few hrs before arrival, causing some stress during the flight. Communication is very typical, not friendly at all.

I love the contactless check-in and the fact the property is immaculately clean and the facilities with the shared kitchen, lounge area and bathroom. My room was small but very clean, great stowage, TV, comfy clean bed and pillows and towels provided. I was overjoyed to find my room had a small private (London terms) terrace rooftop access which as the sun was shining was a fantastic bonus. I think it was incredibly good value for money as a solo traveller so would image even better as a couple. The location was just off Therberton Street with its character full eateries and was not even a minutes walk from Upper Street. As a budget traveller I feel it's a real hidden gem.

This place is a hidden gem in the Islington area and so close to the station. We stayed here on a Friday night for a gig and loved it. The place seems like it had been upgraded recently as everything felt very new and smelled fresh. Very easy to access using all the smart technology locks. We would definitely book again next time we are in London!

Would be great if breakfast was available but not too bad as it is located next to so many cafes!

The room was clean and comfortable, There was a fully equipped kitchen downstairs which had been laid out for breakfast. There were even jars of cereal provided. Unfortunately no milk in the fridge so I did not partake on this occasion!

Tucked away in a side street and appearing like an ordinary terraced house, the property was a little difficult to find. There were no staff on site but there was a useful helpline enabling me to gain admission to the building and bedroom. The toilet was blocked on my arrival but this issue was dealt with promptly.

Very prompt response from customer service. I called their helpline as I couldn't work out the entry system, but the lady over the phone helped me right away. Also, clean and regular size room. Although the communication is clear that it is shared bathroom, I wish you could have the choice of a private bathroom.

It was a one night stay for a concert at the O2 Academy and it’s a perfect location close by walking distance! Lots of shopping and restaurants choices; great night life even during normal week days. Easy access to the property and private bathroom were a bonus! If you aren’t used to busy city night life you might get spooked by the noises.

Ideal location, lovely and comfy. Shared bathroom, but as I had the only ground floor room I was the only one using the ground floor bathroom.

Shared bathrooms are never ideal, but this one was lovely and clean so nothing to complain about.

Call from staff to make sure I’d got in ok. Kitchen space had what I needed. Really close to the venue, so nice to have a short walk and not have to worry about finding trains. Surprisingly quiet considering room was so close to the road.

Finding out I was on the ground floor, I would have paid extra for a bigger room if I’d known. The front door didn’t close or lock properly. This was fine getting in but made me feel a bit vulnerable once inside.

There were some misunderstandings in the process of confirmation, but after I contacted Booking.com customer service they willfully upgraded my reservation to a superior level room, full equiped, clean, peaceful, in a nice and animated neighborhood, well communicated with the center of the city, so I enjoyed a very confortable suite.

The process of confirmation, where a passport scan, and an unannounced required deposit (theoretically refundable but with the currency conversion rates it has a cost) were asked, the check in codes arriving later than the check in time... if you come from abroad, the internet phone signal is not very good in London, so having to manage so many messages, card payments in the middle of the street... it was quite stressful for me. Besides, the bathroom was cold regadless there was a radiator. It would be a very good idea to have had an air heater in the place. The rest of the facilities were in perfect condition.
