Centrally situated for all our needs. Well appointed for a comfortable stay

In the Sconce suite the shower room was well equipped but the layout was a bit odd. It was a narrow room with the shower at the far end as you enter. The toilet was next to the entrance fitted sideways to the door with the ladder towel rail directly across from it in a narrow space. This means a person sitting on the toilet was closely facing the rail and anyone much taller than 5' 4" (my height) was likely to be in contact with it! To be fair it would be a difficult space to design a layout for and I only mention it at all because most visitors taller than me would say nothing, just not book that suite again.

Loved the ornate bath and the set up of the suite on the 2nd floor... even with a main road outside there was very little noise...the accommodation was central to everything that we were there for...we had also booked a ground floor room with a cute courtyard ...the ground floor accommodation had the better self catering options with hob and oven ... but was great

There wasn't anything we didn't like.. we did had a disabled person with us and there was difficulty getting in and out of the property due to a large step and unable to use the bath...however this didn't affect us too much for our stay and we had a lovely time Also ground floor accommodation.modation had a damaged door and a smashed plate hidden under a bowl when we arrived ...pictures were taken if required

Location great. Daniel lovely to deal with. suite was clean.

Poor facilities. Bathroom and kitchen not sufficiently stocked. Mattress not great quality. No water left by 10am the first morning and it was boiling hot the second. Had to have a flannel wash as it would have been dangerous to stand in the shower. Room heating only on early in the morning and no way to extend it for longer. Room quickly turned cold with the old sash windows. Bathroom was cold as there was no way to turn on the towel heater. TV far too small for size of room and very poor reception, so unwatchable. We got the feeling that the order of the day was 'cheap and cheerful '.

Great location. Very close to Newark Castle Station and bus routes. Suites were very clean and spacious.

I don’t like milk, and there was no ordinary coffee provided, just sachets for latte coffee. The rooms were very hot, and only one of the provided fans worked. The key pad entry system for the Gilstrap Suite was VERY temperamental.

Excellent communication from property with clear details about how to check in. On arrival, the person cleaning rooms was extremely helpful and asked if I needed anything. Room was massive, spotless and very comfortable. The location was ideal. Highly recommended.

Would be nice to have normal coffee sachets.

Room only. It was an executive suite, with a separate lounge. Lovely rooms in a lovely building opposite the registry office where we attended a wedding.

Hand soap not provided. Bathroom a little cramped. A few cobwebs. Microwave left in a filthy state by previous tenants, presumably unnoticed by cleaner.

What a fantastic Suite real quality set up bonus of a beautiful bedroom and a fantastic suite area with ssofa telly table and kitchen bed was soooooo comfy lovely bathroom nice and walm great for unloading car as well parkubg was fine not far away seemless easy che k in as well an absoloute credit to owners will rebook for 2025

Nothing all was perfecr

It would have been very useful to know as this was our first visit that parking in Newark is extremely limited. It took us 2 hours to find somewhere to leave the car for 24h (St Marks gate NCP). If I had known about the railway I would have come by train.

The apartment is in a great location. It was so easy to find and get into the room with self-check in. Parking details were provided before we came and again easy to navigate and very cheap (£7 for 2 days!). The apartment was really nicely presented and everything worked well. Really good value for money. We had an issue with the door not locking on the Friday night when we were going out so I called Daniel who was very helpful and said someone would be over to sort it quickly. We went out anyway (testament to how safe it felt to leave the room unlocked!) and it didn't take long until he texted me to say it was fixed, great service.

The bedding was a bit dated and old, new linen would make this a 10/10 for me (but we still slept well). There wasn't a mirror near a plug socket so it's a pain if you want to use straighteners/curlers.

The apartment was much bigger than expected. It had one room with a double bed, kitchenette and bathroom, then another room with a bunk bed plus single bed, and then an additional WC in the hallway.

The bathroom was cold as there was no heating. It also had damp issue on one of the walls. There was also only one mug which wasn’t great between 4 people.
