We have stayed before so we knew what we were getting. The rooms are large, well heated and very clean. The bed was as comfortable as our own bed and the shower was powerful and hot. Although the property sits 300mts between the east coast mainline and the A1 there is very little noise disturbance.. I would rate this property highly for anyone wanting a break in the Newark area.

The tv is very small buy modern day standards so when the time comes to replace then please consider something bigger. Other than that keep doing what you are doing. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Have stayed on a number of occasions at Ashiana. Today stayed in room 4 (twin room woth bath). Room spacious and clean. Room was perfect temp for me but way too hot for other half (easily rectified by opening window). Some find the noise from visitors to the indian a problem - i dont find this. As we always do we ate in at Ashiana Indian. Food was 10/10 and why we continue coming back to stay here. Accommodation, staff and onsite indian are a great combination. Will be back again in another few months.

Mattresses were a little uncomfy and shower needs looking at as seal must be broken as was dropping water all night but this wouldn't put us off staying in this room again.

The rooms were massive,two twin comfortable beds, carpet in the bedroom were brand new as were the flooring in the bathroom which consists of a Large bath with built in shower and large shower screen Kettle and coffee tea and biscuits supplied TV c/w sat channels Two side chairs and a bedside table Unfortunately there wasn't a bedside lamp The Indian restaurant next door ( 25 m) away served excellent food and drinks the staff were very cheerful and chatty and brilliant service

The staff are brilliant,always happy to help,nothing is too much trouble for them. Food is always out of this world we have been coming for the last few years now we have brought family members too and never had a bad meal they go out of the way to cater for all your needs. We will be back again. Rooms are basic but what you pay for you can't go wrong they are clean and have everything you need. And perfect after a great curry instead of a 40 minute long drive back to Nottingham on a full stomach 😂.

Having the restaurant available was great, it is a little pricey but the quality was up to the price. The rooms are large, very spacious and clean. Plenty of pillows!

Allocated parking for the rooms is definitely needed. We understand we visited during the busy period. Unfortunately the car park was so full we had to park on the road. As I was travelling for work I pick hotels I can park my work van close to. Also some guest just chose to park the vehicles length ways in front of the rooms including ours I had to knock on doors and ask them to move it as I couldn't get my luggage in the gap between the car and door to the room. I'm sure if I had asked the staff they would have done this but the restaurant was so busy and honestly it was the fault of those who parked it. Discount in the attached restaurant for hotel users would be fantastic.

Accommodation was very good and easy parking. Restaurant, staff and food were excellent. Location is perfect for travel to Newark Showground and the town.

Both bedside lamps did not work but as we were only staying one night it did not spoil our stay. Unfortunately I forgot to mention this to staff. Bathroom was very good but perhaps some shelves or cabinets by the wash basin would be helpful as there was nowhere to place toiletries/shaver etc.

Was exactly what was needed. A place to stay during a festival. Comfy bed, hot shower, etc. There's no frills, but it's clean and comfortable. I can also recommend the food the restaurant serves of an evening if you like curry. Very good indeed.

Lovely clean property, and for the money great value. Staff were very helpful The adjoining Indian resultant is amazing too. Excellent place if needing a stop over.

These are really small points Side tables next to bed and a shelf in shower for shampoo etc. it is a little noisy as close to the A1 and train line, but not enough to stop me getting a good night sleep.

Restaurant is superb, stayed 3 nights found a local pub on the Trent just 10 minutes walk away with gardens overlooking the river

Furniture a bit outdated, but if it was all new then the price would go up! We don’t want that!

Very comfortable & convenient for me as doing work at British Sugar factory nearby. Extra bonus as such great food at restaurant. Thank you for my stay, will do so again. TV & hot drinks available in room, clean & comfortable giving lots of space & two large double beds. Thanks guys.

Might be nice if snacks for breakfast available, otherwise all good thank you. W/C plumbing problems, but soon fixed when staff notified & caretaker/plumber employed within an hour or so of notification. Well done.
