Excellent, clean.

The light on corridor at my room wasn’t on. And there was steps. The staff member couldn’t find the corridor light. The shared bathroom toilet didn’t seam to be working so was full of toilet roll. Luckily I used the pub toilets before coming to my room. No kettle/cups in room so in the morning there was no where to make a cup of tea. Didn’t know where to hand key in the morning as everything closed.

Very easy to find, very easy to understand things such as the gate and hotel codes, very approachable staff. YouTube on the TV was a nice surprise.

The fact that the restaurant is closed on certain days means you have to call a number to find a member of staff available if you are staying on that day. You need to remember to bring your towels with you to the shared toilet area otherwise there will be no means of drying your hands.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location with lovely courtyard. Our room overlooked the courtyard and with the window open you could hear everything but it was quiet from around midnight. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Check in and out was easy, even though we were late due to train delays. Everything you needed really for a couple of nights!

The bed was very soft but that's personal preference

The location was perfect. The rooms cleanliness was great. The staff were the best though. They were friendly, helpful and just the best.

The room was directly above the courtyard so the music was coming firectly into the room. This would of been fine if it wasn't stupidly warm weather so we had to have the window open to get any air. Not the worse thing but just a little nag.

Location was brilliant, very clean and lovely staff and the restaurant / bar looked beautiful!

Have to be picky to find something negative - parking is a short walk away around the corner and there is LOADS of stairs up to the bedrooms which is a pain with a pram (well, impossible actually) but it’s an old building so that isn’t their fault!!

There was no breakfast included

The key was a phone app which when activated unlocked the door. It worked fine, but we were worried about what would have happened if our phone battery was flat.

The room was spotlessly clean with comfy beds . It was in the centre of town so very well placed.

The only negative thing was that the room was extremely hot because of the weather . Unfortunately we couldn't open the window and there was no air con.

Ideally located in centre of Retford and 7minutes drive from Retford Golf Course. Clean and tidy and excellent value for money. Restaurant and Bar is a must! Food and service were excellent 👌🏼

Car park less than 100m away and no free. But daily rate was extremely reasonable

Very easy check in and out service , staff really friendly and welcoming, nothing was a hassle to them , would definitely stay here again .

With it being in the centre the parking wasn't good but there was a small car park to the rear of the hotel and was just a short walk

The added convenience of a cosy and delicious Italian restaurant at the hotel just makes it even more special.

The staff are always so kind and go out their way to make your time there memorable. I believe food and staff quality make a place, this is certainly the case here. I stay and eat here a fair bit. incredibly consistent.
