The room was clean, well laid out, and surprisingly spacious. The hotel’s pub and restaurant downstairs were convenient for grabbing a drink or a meal, yet despite being on a main road and above the pub, the room was quiet and peaceful. Parking was an added bonus — especially helpful when travelling with a car. The rooms are over several floors, there is stair and lift access which is great for heavy suitacases!

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like. The car park was a little tight at times, as some cars were parked unevenly, but that’s outside the hotel’s control.

What a brilliant hotel!! 4 star hotel for the price of a 3 star. Absolutely perfect from start to finish, very responsive (responded quickly to messages) staff were all great, the rooms were incredible, and probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. The breakfast was also perfect. It's also right in the middle of Worksop town centre, but has loads of parking.

The only thing I'd say is if you're sensitive to noise, ask reception if you can have a quieter room. Our room was overlooking the town centre, and it was a Saturday night so it did get a bit noisy at times.

The breakfast was very good. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good. The room and shower room were clean and it was nice to have two chairs in the room.

There were a lot of little flies in the restaurant in the evening which were a nuisance. We some to a member of staff about them and were told it was a problem because of the hot weather. We went for an evening stroll but were not very keen on the scruffiness of the immediate surroundings. Lots of men sitting around (rough sleepers?) and boarded up shops. Not the fault of the hotel of course, but not a good impression.

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Large, very comfortable room. Good location in the centre of town.

It was a problem getting back in after midnight. I had to find the back entrance and my room card didn’t work on the keypad. I was glad my friend was there to make sure I got in ok (I am female) because I would have been quite anxious otherwise. Luckily, I had told the staff I would be late back so someone came down to let me in. But this just seems odd for a hotel of this high standard. Also, they have a nice breakfast room service menu but because there are no phones in the rooms, you have to call them on their landline to order something. Again, a bit odd.

The room was very clean and well presented. For someone who needed to do some work in the evening there were plenty of plugs for laptops phones watches etc and a good workspace, would have liked wheels on the chair, but that's just me. Great amount of tea and coffee to keep me going all evening while working.

There were stairs into the bathroom which could have a problem. Getting rudely awaken by the dustmen - felt like Blur :-) NOT the hotels issue.

Very central location with good parking. They have a bar, a restaurant with a broad range of meals, and a well-priced breakfast which also had a good range of options. Clean, well maintained room with a good bed, decent tea and coffee facilities, and a working TV.

A pity they felt the need to add a £25 upfront charge in case of damage, which wasn’t mentioned on the booking. The towel rail in the bathroom was burning hot and couldn’t be turned off which was unhelpful on a warm night. Most disappointing was the lasagne (served in the restaurant) which was terrible. It had no structure, very little evidence of meat, bechamel or pasta and was almost entirely passata and mozzarella, as though the topping of a huge pizza had been scraped into the dish.

Looks like it’s been updated recently. Nice size parking lot. Very good breakfast.

It’s located on a pretty iffy street. Lots of down and outs around. Lots of stairs and not easy to find where I needed to be. Tried to book a table for 10 for dinner and they said they couldn’t accommodate us on a Friday night. There was so much space in the dining room and the receptionist could not understand why someone had refused us.

We loved everything about are stay here. All the staff were lovely, helpful and so nice and friendly. Our room was well appointed, very neat & clean, plus it was quiet 🤗 ! I really loved the big bath in our bathroom with lashes of hot water and plenty of soft towels. We had a Wonderful selection of tea's & coffees etc in our room and yummy biscuits. Super big T.V lol my partner enjoyed ! And the Breakfasts we had every day were Fabulous ❤ so going to miss those, a great selection of cooked, hot options, so well presented plus all the delicious Continental options as well, we love all the pastries and muesli, seeds & nuts +yogurts, mix berries, etc..! Nice coffees etc...Also we loved having the onsite free car packing, makes life so much easier !!! We will definitely be going back to this lovely Hotel again, the next time we visit family...you can also walk straight into the town centre from there...Just all round great !

We had nothing what so ever negative to say about this Hotel from our experience of staying there !

Located right at the top of town so if you need to be in Worksop town centre it’s excellent from a location perspective. Our room was a good size - modern and spacious - with a very large en-suite bathroom. The place seems to have been renovated fairly recently and the room and public areas had a clean and well maintained feel to it. Staff were very friendly particularly the guy holding the fort late at night. Did not have breakfast or try the food but I have been told it’s a good place to eat. Overall a good stay at a reasonable price.

Only challenge was the car park. There are two separate parking areas but both were full when we arrived late in the evening. However there is a public pay and display located immediately behold the hotel. Good news is you only have to pay the parking charge between 10am and 4pm so as we arrived in the evening and left at 9ish it did not cost anything!

Fantastic room like a small apartment very clean lovely breakfast 😋

Taking £25 extra for breakages telling us it would be refunded on check out had to ring 2 days later as the amount we paid on check in was pending and they took the room payment again the receptionist told me it was nothing to do with them it was the bank the bank informed us it was the hotel eventually 4 days later the pending was removed A lovely hotel but our trip spoilt for just £25 and taking payment twice
