I liked that it was clean & comfortable - the one member of staff I did encounter was super helpful - she showed me to my room & how to work the awkward door. She also helped me with the tv as I couldn’t pull it off the rail - I was too small to reach

The lack of staff - no one was there at check in. I had to ring to have someone come down to let me in & then check me in. And there was no one there for check out so I had to leave my key at reception & I worried that I wouldn’t be checked out on time.

I have stayed twice here now and the staff are extremely helpful at the Reinshaw, the check in and out is a breeze. The rooms are always clean and well stocked with water and hot drinks. If you can afford to, the Queen Room is lovely, huge bed and incredibly comfortable with a gorgeous bath. Will stay again.

Water pressure is on the low side when running the bath water. I would also love the option of room service, being a woman travelling alone, I don't always want to come down to eat alone, therefore, the opportunity to order food to my room would be great.

A lovely quirky accommodation with a lovely bar & restaurant on site. A sandwich shop for during the day serving great food. Room was simple, but comfortable & clean with an en suite. The bed & pillows were super comfy! Great value for money.

My only gripe was a door that slammed at least a dozen times underneath my room. Either from the restaurant or the toilets in the bar area. A door stop or mechanism is needed to stop this as it was annoying when trying to get to sleep.

The room was beautifully decorated, huge queen size super comfy bed with TV positioned at the end of the bed on a bracket from the ceiling. Huge spacious room, with dressing table and chair. And loved the free standing bath. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Took our bags up to the room, booked us as taxi and even offered us a lift when the taxi was cancelled. So friendly and down to earth. Also, secure key entry system.

Just the stair climb but that's due to my disability.

Perfect for a one night stay. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Comfy bed. Room felt secure. Plenty of free parking. Can't comment on the food as I didn't try it. Would happily stay there again if I am in the area.

A minor point but the en suite bathroom had no door :-) There was no bathroom light switch but the light came on when you walked into bathroom area (presumably censor) and stayed on for quite a while. Slightly annoying if you used the bathroom during the night as the whole room was lit up.

The attention to detail on the decor was great. The rooms felt individually decorated. It was very different from a big hotel block. The communication via text beforehand was very helpful and friendly.

It’s probably my fault for not checking, but the only shower in our bathroom was a hand held one, in a roll top bath, with no shower curtain. It was fine for one night, but it was a surprise!

Brilliant room. very accessible once in the room, Difficulty with stairs which were quite big steps but thanks to the lovely staff and my own ingenuity, it was easily overcome and didn't distract from the awesome room. Breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much to ask for the staff, who made me feel super welcome. Would stay again and recommend.

I was later arriving than expected owing to traffic conditions. The staff were very welcoming and provided me with an evening meal despite the fact the restaurant was about to close. Even met my dietary requirements! Check-in and out was very straightforward.

The room was well presented overall, but there were a few minor issues with decor - mainly in the bathroom. Peeling paint and the finish around the shower. However still good value for the money.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfy. Good Sunday breakfast.

It got cold in the night. However, fed this back to the hotel and they've already got a plumber coming to install an extra boiler. So Top Marks really.

The decor was really nice. A very comfortable bed and the ensuite bathroom had a great shower and there was always plenty of hot water. Everything was really clean. For the price it exceeded my expectations. Charlotte who booked us in was really welcoming and helpful in suggesting places we could eat on a Sunday evening when we arrived. The sandwich bar on the premises also served excellent breakfasts at a very reasonable price.

There was no door on the ensuite bathroom, I know it was a single room, but it felt a bit odd. The layout of the room was a bit inconvenient because there was a bedside light and a lovely desk at the other end of the room, but, nowhere to put things or a plugpoint by the bed. But, again for the price and location of the room and hotel, these were minor niggles as I spent little time in the room.
