Lovely building in a gorgeous location, Georgian Hall which still keeps many of the features from then including the reception hall as it greets you. Dinner and Breakfast were spot on and vary fullsome and flavoursome. Staff were so very helpful and as it was one of the warmest days of the year I was offered on asking a room that proved to be cooler than the iniitial one i was allocated on booking.. As and when in the area visiting friends I will return and recommend to others too.... thank you to all at Aston Hall

This hotel was a perfect location for us, it's easy access to M1. The staff were extremely friendly. The food in the bar was very good. I had a standard double room, ground floor, it was warm & comfortable. Breakfast was also very good.

Very little. Perhaps walk to the lift is a little unorthodox, but my mother had to use it as she uses a mobility stroller but the hotel is an old building so difficult to accommodate a lift in it. Lift is in newer building. But it was fine. The only other thing is that the bathroom floor is very wet after a shower due to type of screen used.

I was a wedding guest. Everything was great n well organised. All staff was friendly n helpful. Facilities in the room were perfect. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious n filling. As a bonus the weather was great.

The only thing I didn't like was the air conditioning in the dining hall. I had to move tables to get away from freezing air blasting at me. I was not the only one who found it unpleasant. Maybe it could be a more subtle cooling system that adjusts to the room temperature instead of a cold blast.

Room was large, clean and comfortable with a large bed. Quality of food, drink and service. Staff are excellent. They put me in the same room I've stayed in before which is a nice touch and one of many small things which shows how attentive to detail the staff are. It all adds up to "feeling at home" and having a good over all experience. There is a free electric car charger.

The lighting in the bathroom and bedroom isn't good for putting on make up. It's literally the only fault I can think of and it wouldn't put me off staying again.

Everything was really brilliant, so my comments is not about what I didn't like. But I have to note only that there was no tv remote control in room 103. The walk-in shower made a whole bathroom flood until morning time. We didn't take any shower footwear. After all the bathroom was clean,estetic, good qualiry, there were hooks to hang up the clothes ( not every hotel provided !) Lots of space for cosmetics.

Beautiful setting and grounds. We booked a standard twin room and was pleasantly surprised! The beds were large and comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space, a large tv, tea and coffee making facility, a lovely bathroom with shower over bath and two small armchairs. It was much bigger than expected and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and approachable.

The shower head was fixed and could not be detached .

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the friendly reception team providing all the necessary information about the hotel’s amenities. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were fresh and soft. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into maintaining the cleanliness and quality of the room. The bathroom was also spotless, and the shower had great water pressure, making for a refreshing start to the day. Overall, my stay at the Best Western Hotel exceeded my expectations. The combination of exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and a great location makes it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again on my next visit

Lovely old building. Spacious clean and comfortable room. Good food in the restaurant. Despite being near the M1 it was quiet and peaceful.

Pillows we're a little hard. Paying for restaurant food wasn't clear. The waiter took our room number so we assumed it would be added to our final bill, but then we got a call to the room saying we hadn't paid for dinner and needed to go to pay, yet the breakfast we had we paid for at the end of our stay when checking out.

Lovely, good-sized bedroom with a very comfortable bed and pillows - also had air con if required (but could just open the window as it was quiet outside). Clean and nicely decorated bathroom. Extremely helpful and friendly staff at reception. Didn't have the time to use any of the facilities or walk around the hotel, but the grounds looked lovely and it was very quiet despite being close to the motorway. Had very tasty dinner (room service) and the continental breakfast was also very good - the cooked breakfast was nice, although not as impressive. Plenty of parking.
