I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Carlton Park Hotel in Rotherham, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted warmly by the friendly and professional staff. The hotel boasts a stylish, decor while maintaining a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to make my stay comfortable, including plush bedding and a well-appointed bathroom. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and comfort was impressive What truly sets the Carlton Park Hotel apart is its exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was enjoyable, addressing any requests with efficiency and a smile. I would highly recommend the Carlton Park Hotel for anyone visiting Rotherham, whether for business or leisure. Its combination of comfort, quality service, and excellent facilities makes it a standout choice.

The people in the reception were very friendly and attentive to all our needs.Nothing was too much trouble for them.As the lift was out of order , being elderly, they gave us a room on the ground floor and brought an electric heater so that we would feel really warm.Our room was really comfortable and quiet.We had an excellen week at this hotel and we have no complaints whatsoever.

As the hotel was closed during Covid the new management team are trying to re open the swimming pool and make other improvements to the building so not all the services were available. I am sure that in the future it will return to its former glory.

We only needed a room for one night so this was very good for us. There is redevelopment going on and no restaurant or breakfast but this didn’t bother us.

The hotel corridor and bedroom was very very hot. Even with the radiator turned off and the window open it was so hot.

My room had a good standard of cleanliness, and was well illuminated at night with the curtains closed. I stayed 2 nights and both nights were quiet and undisturbed. I found my bed comfortable, and all the facilities in the room were of a good standard. I was grateful because I was up in Rotherham for my brother's funeral and Carlton Park worked out well for my stay.

Had breakfast been available, I would have subscribed to it, but I walked the short (2 minutes) distance to Brentwood Hotel and they were able to accommodate me to have breakfast there, so everything worked out well for me.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, spacious rooms with a bath, shower, safe, tv, coffee and tea. Free parking. Room was often serviced. And always nice and warm.

Some facilities like the bar area and gym were unavailable, but I could see that the new management are trying to get everything back up and running. Obviously covid had a negative effect on a lot of hotels. But with the right investment I'm sure these facilities will be open again soon.

Nicely decorated

The bed was too hard, so I could not sleep comfortably. No fridge in room no snacks or beverages available to order. They do not even sell drinking water.

We love this hotel! we stay here every year for horror con and will continue to do so if we can! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, I had a problem when we first checked in due to personal circumstances and once I explained to the receptionist he was amazing and squared us away with a room that was more accessible for me. So kind and so thoughtful I cannot recommend them enough.

I say this with nothing but love in my heart, please buy some bigger teacups 😂

Love the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. At the time I stayed there wasn't access to a bar or restaurant so they offered me menus to order food. They took it in at reception for me and also my Amazon packages. They also allowed me to park my coach in their large carpark for free. Great staff, thank you.

The undesirable clients stood outside smoking and drinking. Hot water took around 20 minutes to heat in the morning for a shower.

On entrance to the Carlton Park Hotel, it had made some major refurbishment changes. It looked fantastic, in comparison to a few years ago. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They kept my jacket safe at lost property for a family member to collect later. Thank You! The room was exceedingly clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Unfortunately, the hotel did not serve a full English breakfast. A limited continental alternative was available. Nevertheless I went down to the town centre and visited the local markets offering multiple fresh homemade food choices. The electronic key entry was a little worn.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Towels provided. Tea and coffee facilities available. They don't have a restaurant but are happy for you to order takeaway to the hotel, and if you ask. They will provide disposable cutlery as well.

The shower temperature handle was missing so the choice was hot and slow or hot and fast. There is limited lighting in the room, which makes doing your make-up difficult but thats only if you wanna wear it anyway.
