* The bed was exceptionally comfortable * The heating was surprisingly adept at keeping the room warm * The staff was very accommodating - whether booking and reception through to cleaners. * Location is sweet, too. - no road noise even though it's just a couple of moments away from a motorway. * Local Off-site amenities are great - HUGE Morrissons, amd McDonald's couple moments drive away and some massive, well stocked major and independent brand stores in a couple Industrial Estates about 15 od 20 minutes drive in different directions. * Restful stay. * The car park is well lit, and the reception is manned. * Nice bar area, beverages from hot drinks to alcohol - bottles and draft .. decent selection. * Outdoor seating area is nice too.

* Room walls could've been a little thicker as at tines hearing next talking from next door was somewhat irritating. However, it didn't in any meaningful way wreck the stay and was not constant. * Full English breakfast wasn't available at the time of stay however the reception did inform before booking. (I rang up after eeading the comments as Booking.com says it's available, but some reviewers stated otherwise. The reception advised of Morrissons which was lovely though would've been nice yo pop over the car park and head back to the room. * Only 2 plug outlets. 1 for heater 1 for TV (and a 2nd one atrached to it) However, as we usually travel with an extension 4-gang lead made it of no major significance.

The staff on arrival were amazing very welcoming, the room was clean and very snug, had a nice little grass area outside the room where my 1 year old son could run about. The little bar/restaurant was nice. Beds were comfortable had a great night sleep. Staff who served were also very friendly. The book that mentioned everything from bus time tables to local takeaways was very handy. Having the WiFi password on the room key was also very handy

excellent location, clean and the room stayed cool during the hot days which was a bonus. The staff were excellent and helpful and I will definitely stay there again. The parking was free and plentiful and covered by cameras which made me feel safe.

No plug sockets by the bedside table was the main drawback and no light over the place to put your suitcase.

I like the size of the room and the fact you don't have to walk miles through lots of corridors to find your room. Your door is there and you're literally in your room. The TV was just the correct size, the bathroom was spotless, can't complain at all. The reception staff were more than helpful when we needed directions, giving us ideas of what there was to do in the area. Honestly 10/10 experience overall. Would highly recommend.

Every member of staff could not have been more helpful, so friendly and accommodating. Room was lovely and warm, beds were fairly comfortable, plenty of clean towels, working television and tea making facilities

Decor could be a little less dated, and the room could be brighter. Definitely need to invest in new beds instead of the old wooden ones that have been there for years now

Good location for our needs. Staff are very welcoming .cleaners are brilliant always happy to help.

The rooms could do with a makeover. But l think worst of all are the awful beds. Springs coming through the mattress bits of boards underneath the mattress. not a very good night's sleep. What you need to do is read the reviews.more often and act on them.

The location was very good. Breakfast was too pricey, so went else where. Staff were fab and met our needs. Could do with a small park or something onsite to keep the children entertained as it’s on an industrial estate.

My bed was squeaky and every time I turned over disturbed my daughter. Bath was high to get into, but we managed. Lack of children’s facilities ie a park/ small playground for the children to be entertained whilst adults relaxed a bit.

We just needed somewhere to stay close to Sheffield. The place is very basic but perfect for our needs.

We booked 2 rooms at the same time but the rooms were rather spread out from each other.

stayed as room only guests, room was warm, clean and bed comfy. Did go for a drink in the bar staff very friendly and helpful

Didn't dislike anything the room had been recently refurbished so was fine and did comment on checking out that only thing missing was a towel rail in bathroom!

We needed a stop between London and Scotland and we found this road hotel. Excellent value for money. Staff was nice and friendy. Reception is open 24/7 and you can have a drink if you arrive there before midnight. facilities are very basic but everything was very clean.
