Everyone was very helpful. One young lady particularly stood out going the extra mile, thank you Eiyesia for making our stay enjoyable. Couple that with a comfortable bed and an amazing shower, both my wife and I enjoyed the mini break.

The disabled parking bay outside the hotel, two nights I had to park in the bay next to the fruit tree. The branches were overhanging the bay and made it difficult to get out of my carr. Perhaps the tree could be cut back? As this was the last disabled bay I had no choice but to park In that space..

Perfect for an overnight stop as away from the town centre. Choice of restaurant or fast food close by. Nice, welcoming staff and comfortable communal seating lounge area with seating for those taking breakfast.

Our room was at the side/rear overlooking the service area and was very quiet at bedtime. However, the laundry lorry arrived shortly after 7 am and parked directly beneath our window. Loading and unloading was really noisy (metal cages trundling on the tarmac) although completed quite quickly. As we were on a break and not travelling for business we didn't need to be up early so being woken up was a minus for us. Worth packing a phone charger as no USB point in the room.

The location is just off the M1 so is easy to get to. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bathroom is super clean! There’s a Harvester on site and a Macdonalds across the road so options for eating are available! The breakfast is good, with several options including full English.

The room was hot and there’s no AC or fan. The windows only open a fraction, whilst I understand the safety concerns, a couple of inches to allow the air in would be super helpful.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Much better value for money at £45 room only than Travelodge Retford at £70+ the previous week. In fact it was excellent value for money. Costa, Wendy's and McDonald's within a stone throw. Plenty of parking. Unlike other hotels WiFi didn't harvest e-mail address to connect.

Can't think of anything. Microscopic quibbles: No instructions for WiFi, but it was pretty intuitive. I'm ultra paranoid, so prefer to see the WiFi SSID written down in the room. Stairs not next to the lift (I'm not a fan of taking lifts).

The room is large and very clean. There are tea making facilities .The hotel has a restaurant, however there is also a pub, "Harvester" right next door which provided a great range of meals. The Ibis and Harvester share a very large off-street carpark, making parking a breeze.

The rooms aren't fully soundproof, f however the hotel is located far enough away from roads for this to be only a minor issue. Some noise could be heard from other guests in the corridor.

I was not expecting a lot as this is a budget hotel but I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room and the small touches like the hairdryer is on the wall next the mirror. I've stayed in more expensive hotels and had to hunt for the hairdryer and find a convenient plug. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious Breakfast was good, they had what I liked. There was full english and pastries Staff were very friendly and very helpful Wifi worked well and was included in the price, unlike Travelodge, so much easier

Really convenient location just off the M1 and great having a Harvester next door. Loved having the bar in the hotel to just sit and unwind. Staff were friendly and helpful and sorted out issues promptly.

Had to ask to move rooms because window didn't shut properly and the wind was blowing through, although this was sorted quickly by changing rooms. A little irritating having 3 of everything for making tea and coffee. I know we could go and ask for more at reception but with 2 people in a room who would both like a drink in the evening and again in the morning, always being one short is a minor annoyance.

So close to One Health hospital where I was booked in for a procedure. Travelled up to Barlborough with hubby and son and needed somewhere comfortable for them to stay with facilities breakfast, evening meal bar and where my son could work from during the day . This was just the ticket. Very enjoyable stay with choice if I should have been in hospital any longer. Very pleasant staff. Parking. Near to other bars and restaurants.

Scored not on luxury but value for money. Tired decor but it is a budget hotel that allows dogs and it was clean and comfortable. We were going to a nearby dog show and it was ideal. Good Parking. Food choices nearby a bit limited but very adequate and with a car you could go further afield. There is plenty of other eateries a very short car journey away. Very happy I could take the dog in the room. Lovely friendly staff. For the price we couldn't ask for more really. Be aware though if bringing a crate in for your dog ask for a ground floor room as the lift is quite tight. Not the hotel fault though and we will ask for a ground floor room next time.

Breakfast very expensive and the keycards very temperamental which is the only reason why it didn't get a 10. Everything else was good.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were great with our little one. It was a spur of the moment booking and was a comfortable night's sleep. Good substancial breakfast, well cooked and presented. We felt safe given you need a swipe card to access the lift/rooms. Free parking, and lots of it. Basic facilities at the hotel as you'd expect for the price, but clean, in good condition throughout and friendly. Thanks.

No pasteurised yoghurt available (required due to pregnancy). Staff were very helpful at finding out this was the case though. Not a big deal either as plenty of alternatives available for breakfast.
