It had everything one needed. Basic but very comfortable. Perfect location and lovely friendly staff who went out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. Lovely comfy bed. Really nice atmosphere and good vibes. I'll be back. Next time I'm looking forward to trying the food which I've heard good things about.

A bedside lamp would have been nice. The stool was lovely but I would have preferred a comfy chair with a back to watch TV etc. Also more charging points would have been awesome, although 2 turned out to be enough for my short stay. It would have been good if some of them were near the bed. The shower was warm enough but it could have been hotter and had bigger portions of soap.. But overall it was brilliant value for the money and I had an awesome time.

This was a repeat visit to a hotel which suits us very werll, as it is near to our family we were visiting. Everything was very good and the staff always respond promptly to anything you need to ask or query. Parking is always available, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. No complaints. For the money this is good value. We don't eat at the hotel but with our family so cannot comment in this respect. We usually slightly upgrade our room from the cheapest option.

No frills but a good base from which to visit family. Staff were friendly and helpful, parking was right outside and spaces were always available. This was our second visit and won't be our last.

We had a superior room this time but apart from it being a little bigger, it was the same as before. There was just one dining type chair, an armchair would have been good, but one of us had to sit on the bed.

Towel deposit. Not bad and understand why there but just a pre warning maybe that you will be charged a £5 for towels and refunded if you don't steal them. Karaoke that was reticent of phoenix nights was a surprise but once again not bad just pre warning of noise. Ordering breakfast at reception is unusual. Decent value though.

Loved the location and the staff were all lovely the beds were comfortable and there is a bar and lounge area which serves food and also a pool table, dart board and 2 slot machines for anyone that likes to enjoy a few games as you sip your drink also there is bingo in the bar during the week so everyone is entertained ...in my eyes great value for money

The receptionist who works on a thursday and saturday is absolutely amazing.. very friendly and helpful warm and welcoming. Id visit again tome and time again just to see this lady she is an absolute gem. Thankyou for making me feel so welclme and going above and beyond your duties when i was going through a hard time. I had to visit regularly to see my son in hospital and she always made the time to ask if we were all ok. Love for that.

When I checked in Rachel was brilliant and then we had Emma. Got into the bar we had lewis and Ian,sharron and jodie all the bar team were amazing. I had a few meals and the food was very good and very tasty. Chris the chef knows how too cook. Highly recommend staying here.

I know they have functions here and it can get a bit loud and noisy. But the room I stayed in all I done was turned the TV up a bit and it hid the noise

Room was a good size , beds were comfortable , ample space to put clothing . Tea and coffee facilities in room, Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Also a friendly bar down stairs.

It wasn't a problem as such ,but because of the warm weather ,we could have done with a fan in the room because there was no fresh air coming through the open window ,This made sleeping uncomfortable.

Clean comfortable room as always. My go-to hotel when returning to my old home town. Fantastic price for a Saturday night to see The Reytons at Clifton Park Also they were more than happy to look after our bags while we went for a walk. We came back for the Sunday carvery. Which was exceptional. Incredible value for money and absolutely delicious. Couldn't find fault 10/10

Only very minor negative was no shower gel.

Good value but could do with a touch of paint and a bit of a refurbish- but it was nice and warm and clean - for £65 it was close to where I was staying and ok for one night - I found the reception staff friendly and welcoming but the cleaning staff were a bit hasty and knocked on my room before the expected departure time but she did apologise for this.
