Hotel didn’t have many guests so was very quiet. No noise in corridors, no queuing for the bar or breakfast. Staff weren’t overwhelmed by rude guests so they were happy and good to be around. Breakfast Monday to Friday started at 6:30 but you could go earlier and have cereals, fruit, drinks etc. I would arrive at 6:15 so I could still arrive at work on time. The breakfast was excellent each day. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The tv I could log into Prime, YouTube etc. The air conditioning was appreciated in this hot spell. The bed was superb I had a good sleep all week. The shower was great, instant hot water and plenty of of it, clean and lots of space. The Bar offers drinks cheaper than the Blue Bell pub next door and the food is about the same price.

For anyone staying here for work, the breakfast starts at 7:30 on a weekend so for 2 days I had paid for breakfast but couldn’t have it. This is maybe enough for me to look elsewhere. I don’t think there was an option to not pay for breakfast on these 2 days. For the price the room should have a fridge, anyone staying for more than a night needs to keep things cool, especially during this heat wave, I could have bought food from the Lidl opposite the hotel to keep cool and have for my breakfast on the weekends and this would have been perfect.

The whole place was lovely ,new ,bright ,and clean. Bathroom and shower was very good 💯. Room was of a good size. Would deffo stay again if I was that way. Parking was very easy and plentiful. Having a lidl over the way was helpful. The price was excellent including breakfast which was plentiful and tasted great. Staff helpful.

The fact that it states rotherham ? It's nearer to barnsley so take this into account it added an extra hour to our destination journey. Rotherham as we found out is a large area. The room air con was on all the time and even tho it was hot out side it was unpleasant thro the night . We did try to turn it off .

Very much enjoyed the air conditioning! Spacious room, our 5 year old loved his bed and it was perfectly clean. The curtains were great at eliminating sunlight to help us get to sleep early.

Not really the hotels fault, but we could hear the people above us and some guests were shouting in the corridors late at night/early in the morning. Breakfast we had to wait a while for things to be topped up but the food was good.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Staff was very warm and friendly. Chad was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean. The bed was huge and comfortable with different pillow options. Breakfast was limited but good quality. I would stay there again.

The t.v in one of the rooms was not working, but the staff did try to look into it asap.

The rooms were excellent value for money especially with 5 guests and all having a full English breakfast of which the quality against the price paid was 2nd to none. Staff were very accomodating

We arrived late around 9.30 and the kitchen had already closed for bar snacks so we ordered pizza which we ate at the bar so not a problem more of an inconvenience

Room clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast very good, and not just continental! Staff were helpful. Perfect location for what we wanted. Pub over the road for evening meal.

Felt sorry for the reception staff as they appeared to be doing other tasks. Apologised for us having to wait to check in but it didn't worry us.

The staff were so friendly and helpful , air con was well needed and it didn't disappoint, breakfast was lovely , clean rooms would highly recommend, like to give Ryan a Thanks for helping us with getting a takeaway he was excellent and the lady who went to our room to put the air con on as I didn't have a clue how to work it

The breakfast was great, and having two children's with me gave them more choice to choose what they wanted. And of course, they went for the toast with Nutella 😂.

I didn't like some of the guests that shouldn't be there, but unfortunatelyit's not the fault of the hotel.

The.breakfast was hot and well laidj out. Staff went out their way to help you and make you feel welcome, Maxine at breakfast, the reception staff during day, and all the cleaning staff and maintenance man went out their way to make a our stay a pleasant and welcoming stay, they are a credit to the hotel.

Comfy bed. Large room. Good shower. Quiet. Good air-conditioning. Nice staff.

Breakfast was basic. Bacon all clumped together and overcooked. Beans arrived 10 minutes later by which time I had eaten. Gluten free bread available but no gf cereal even though the receptionist said there would be.
