We stayed in the main hotel, a great room very quiet, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was fantastic lots of it and great Vegan Options to. The breakfast staff and Managers were so polite and helpful, really lovely. It is not a modern hotel but Georgian with some lovely features downstairs. It feels homely and is very good value. Not far from Rotherham Town centre, trains/buses. About a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel. It was a very good hotel and location to pick for the RHS Wentworth Woodhouse Flower Show. Would happily go back. Thank you for a great stay.

I was happy with everything

The room was large and the bathroom was fully equipped, the bed must have been a king as looked enormous to me. Tea and coffee were provided with plenty of sugar etc available. I enjoyed breakfast but didn't sample the full English, not what I would normally eat. I had a meal one evening and that was very good. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom could have been doing with a make over as sealing strips around the bath were coming adrift. The window could have been doing with a clean around the frame as was hanging in cobwebs and general dirt.

Staff friendly and it was comfortable

I didn't book breakfast, as i didn't know if times would suite. I was told that as i only booked room only they dont normally have room for other if they are not booked in advance. Luckily, the computer system was done, so she said we could come for breakfast if not full. We did friday morning, which was lovely, but wanted us to pay cash, which i had none with me but card. Offered to get cash to pay later. I was staying till Monday morning, which then she said "oh thats ok then."

Super friendly staff, both at the hotel reception and in the pub. When I requested an accessible room despite not having been able to book one on the website, I was actually given the only accessible they have which made my stay much easier. Great value for money, great location, it was just 5 minutes away from our events. The pub next door was knowledgeable about food allergies, great gluten free options, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

I was surprised to discover breakfast was only served from 8am, which was the time we needed to be at our events, so I had to skip it. But no big deal. The bedrooms are a little run down, but for the price, it is still great value for money and it was exactly what we needed.

For me & my family the location was ideal. The Brentwood Hotel was extremely clean in all areas. We used the bar & restaurant quite a lot which was very nice. I had 1 bad meal while we were there & the member of staff offered to give me something else straight away. All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The rooms were very comfortable.

The restaurant/bar area was quite cold at times which made us uncomfortable especially when eating hot meals. However the main hotel where the bar restaurant is, is almost 200 years old with many of it's old features still there. Also if you like to watch TV many of the channels are unavailable.

The location was great for where we needed to get to the next morning. The room was large with good facilities e.g. tea/coffee, TV, desk, nice size beds, towels. The staff member was welcoming. Loved the old style of the building especially the stained glass windows. This place has the makings of a great place, it needs some sprucing up and money spent as lots of things are getting tired.

The beds weren't comfy and neither were the pillows. Too hard for my liking. The bathroom is tired and cheap. It has no luxury about it even down to the tiles, flooring. The panelling behind the toilet and sink is mostly held together by sealant. Sadly there was a smell of smoke if the corridor, which the staff were mortified about and did apologise for.

Location excellent. Parking and the old Georgian hotel/reception excellent. Restaurant also excellent and very good for business or social travel. The rooms are in an annex, which is basic and getting tatty. Squeeky doors and worn carpets (feels like a care home...). Rooms themselves are very basic but clean and comfortable enough - especially for the price. A lot better than most budget hotels, especially that restaurant.

The annex really needs a refurb. That would probably put the price up though, so a bit of a 'Catch 22'. Nothing was wrong though.

Hotel was clean comfortable. Staff were all friendly and breakfast was good. Having the Flaming Grill right next door was amazing could not fault the food or service, this is the second year in a row we have stayed at this time and we had a lovely couple of nights.

Nothing to complain about generally, but a plug beside the bed would have been ideal, but it did make me get out of bed to turn off my alarm 😂

I recently stayed at The Brentwood Inn Hotel in Rotherham and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel had a charming and welcoming atmosphere, and I especially appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a perfect base for both relaxing and exploring the area. The hotel is located in a quiet, residential area, which provided a peaceful night's sleep, yet it's still conveniently close to local attractions and Rotherham town centre. The on-site restaurant was another highlight, serving delicious food with a great variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The bar area had a cozy vibe, perfect for winding down in the evening. Overall, The Brentwood Inn offered excellent value for money, combining comfort, good service, and a great location. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rotherham.

While my stay at The Brentwood Inn Hotel was mostly positive, there were a few minor areas for improvement. The Wi-Fi connection in my room was somewhat inconsistent, which made it difficult to work or stream without interruptions. Additionally, although the room was clean and comfortable, the decor felt a little dated and could benefit from a modern refresh. However, I must note that parking was ample, which was a big plus and made arriving and departing hassle-free. Despite the small issue with the Wi-Fi, these factors didn't significantly affect an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Basic room but was comfortable and had everything I needed. Hairdryer provided when asked for. My evening meal was basic but well cooked. Breakfast was excellent. A limited menu but was good for what I wanted. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The lighting in the bedroom was poor. There was a choice of centre light and bed lights, but the centre light was really too dim to be of any use in a room without a window. Thankfully, keeping the bathroom door open solves that issue in the summertime.
