We ate dinner outside (in the sunshine in April no less). Reasonable food, quick service. Choice of wine limited, beer good. After cereal, eggs for breakfast were just fine. Coffee (latte) out of machine tasted very sweet; not to my taste. Midweek it was quiet at night so slept well. Bed comfy and room spacious. Clean and comfortable. Parking easy and large. We would stay again.

The shower was over the bath. We are in our 70s so perhaps not as steady as in our youth. The bath was extremely slippery. No non-slip mat provided. There are no handholds. Resolved the problem by using the foot mat in the bath and taking great care when entering and exiting the shower.

We didn't eat here as we already had plans elsewhere, but we was informed on arrival of the serving times and no need to book. However we did not realise they seved breakfast as the menus in the room did not state it, that may be useful. The room was huge and the bed was so comfortable, I could not wait to get into it!

Trivial things, there was 2 half rolls of toilet paper, so just about had enough for our stay, but we was informed of out of hours service so if needed we could of asked for more. There was a few cobwebs around the room and a stain on the wall, again trivial, none of these things would put us off staying here, just more of feedback.

The price was good, as a solo traveller it was very affordable and good value for money. The room standard was spot on, for the price and everything was clean and in good condition. The guy who booked me in on reception was really lovely and couldn't have been more helpful!

I was in room 1 which was right by the entrance so I could hear everyone coming and going which isn't great when it's a pub hotel and people are rolling in pretty late. The window overlooked the bins where the glass bottles were all tipped into which was also pretty noisy.

Very good sized clean rooms located away from the Boundary Inn itself, which means you can enjoy a live band, for example, and then retire to your room for some peace and quiet even as the band plays on. The beds were comfortable.

Our room had a pretty mediocre over bath shower and no anti-slip bathmat that I could find. I also judge a hotel on the quality of toilet paper it provides guests and this was definitely at the cheap end but I guess these economies are necessary these days to keep prices down. These are very minor gripes and don't detract from an overall good stay with all the important issues that make a hotel good ticked as per the comment above.

The location is ideal for our needs when we visit family for a weekend most months. The staff are courteous and efficient and the room are spacious and warm.

On this last occasion we found there weren't enough towels left in the room (we had our own but, am sure more would have been available on request) and we noticed the shower head hook was a fixed one more suited to hanging a bathside hairwashing head and not an adjustable angle overhead shower type. (room 7)

It's a Wetherspoons so the bar and restaurant is always going to be good value and the food is good. The staff were very friendly from start to finish and helped to make my brief stay an enjoyable one. The bed was perfect, nice and big and very comfortable like my own bed.

The bathroom mainly is a little dated, some of the grout was discoloured and the paint to the window cill was cracked. Other than that all was good.

Room/bathroom spotlessly clean. Bed enormous and very comfortable. Accommodation is separate from the pub/bar which meant there was very little noise. We booked room only so can't comment on the food, but the bar was pleasant enough to sit for a drink in the evening.

The only downside of the room (as long as you can climb stairs) was that it was rather hot, even though the weather wasn't particularly warm and we had a window open. The pub is in a residential area, not close to town, so you can't walk anywhere.

The room hadn't been cleaned. I went down & spoke to the assistant manager Scott. He said sorry & give me half hour & your room will be ready. Mathew done our room & was very friendly & welcoming. Due to the inconvenience of the room not being cleaned Scott gave us our evening meal on the house. We Would stay there again.

The room is for 2 people but there was only 1 chair. This makes 1 person have to lie/ sit on the bed to watch telly. I find this in nearly every hotel we stay in.

Large room, quiet, good location to visit son and his wife to continue up as four to the Crucible. Staff friendly at breakfast. Good value for couple now retired.

Not told on check in no cooked breakfast only cereal / toast so wife disappointed as she looked forward to her mushrooms off the menu left out. Also strong pungent smell in corridor to room but found at at breakfast water leak that weekend and awaiting resolution.
