Due to circumstances I did not end up sleeping in the hotel, but I did go to the room and stayed for a short time, washed and changed. But when I arrived I explained a problem I had, and the staff dealt with it immediately, all the staff were polite and helpful, even had time for a nice chat with the staff's family members, Everything was explained to me very clearly, really nice, location was excellent, train station one side, bus station the other, town centre 2 minutes away.

Nothing, everything was fine

The hotel was being renovated, but my room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, the bar was open until quite late, you pay a bit more than in pubs for drinks, but that's to be expected in hotels. The bed was comfy, there were drinks facilities in the room, the Freeview TV worked well, the bathroom was small but decent. Overall I'm happy.

One very basic thing they can do to make it better for guests - on the door on the side entrance that's open late at night, slow the swing door down because when it slams shut the building shakes and you can hear that in the rooms. They only provided two small towels. It was right next to the bus station so you could hear buses reversing at all hours. It didn't bother me that much but others may find it irritating when trying to sleep. Also a basic notice in the communal areas asking people to remain quiet in corridors late at night would help.

Great location lovely staff clean spacious room tea coffee milk decent size cups not them little things you can't get a finger in the handle shower was decent and got 2 shower gels n soaps plenty for my stay will be back when my next tournament is on in Mansfield can't go wrong for the price

Nothing major really but if I had to pick one thing that would be no where for breakfast as under renovation but close to town centre 3 min walk so no biggy

The location is in the perfect spot next to the train station, bus station and town centre. I've stayed before this time they were refurbishing the property and have more rooms upstairs.the bar looked different for the better and the staff were very welcoming.

Cleaners came to the door 3 times and one were quite cross because we hadn't vacated at the time permitted, she were not English so could not understand. Staff did come and tell us the correct time so all were well.

Good location for all major road,train and bus services. Great staff, friendly and helpful, who went out their way to help us in any way they can! Would recommend it for a cheap and cheerful hotel... its not the ritz... but for a great place with friendly people and close to town centre would give it thumbs up!!... Big up Louise!!! Thank you! It had a huge comfortable bed, the sheets were crisp white and the bathroom was clean with complimentary shower gel and soap. Had tea making facilities and a tv. All we needed for a nice nights stay. We arrived late and the staff were understanding that we slept in and didn’t rush us out in the morning, very nice of them, thank you very much

The beds were really comfy, and the staff exceptional, absolutely lovely people. Made to feel so welcome, and they often stopped to chat with us. Would absolutely come back

There wasn't anything we didn't like, and as they're decorating at the moment there's a notice to apologise yet the place was still kept clean and tidy.

I stayed here a few weeks ago as I'd lost my Mother, so I returned for her funeral and the staff were just so friendly and really interacted with me, so glad it was here that I stayed they really looked after me and the room was comfortable too

Upon my late arrival via train, I found a staff member readily available at the reception, facilitating a swift check-in process. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, the location of the property is exceptionally convenient.

The window lock mechanism appeared to be malfunctioning and I couldn’t lock the window properly.

Friendly staff, really spacious room like wow! And spacious bathroom, right next to a train station and not far from the cinema multiple and bowling.

Not much to be honest, for the price we paid considering other places was gunna cost twice as much and I booked the room i think around 24 hours before hand so it was okay!
