The room was really comfortable modern decor very clean and plenty of tea and coffee provided. Power shower with shower gel/shampoo provided too. The food in the restaurant and drink were excellent, great quality and portion sizes. Plenty of choice of beers cider, cocktails and spirits and a great atmosphere with live music. We couldn’t hear a thing in our room though.

The air conditioning wasn’t very cold and only had one pillow,I usually sleep with more I’m sure if we’d asked they would provide more but it was late when we went to bed and didn’t think about it when we checked in.

The location was perfect for our needs. Lovely friendly staff, clean comfortable room. The bed was exceptionally comfortable as I suffer with back ache and noted a great improvement. Thecbar was handy and had a good menu and excellent beers. There was also free water and fruit and flapjack which was a nice touch.

It would have been better with a breakfast option. However there was a garage within 10 mins walking distance that served a good breakfast. Also I thought it could have been a little cheaper.

My wife and I stayed one night to attend a local event nearby. The room represented excellent value for money. Good size room with a modern bathroom, and good toiletries There was a heater and air-conditioning unit in the room which was a bonus. of tea, coffee and water available in the room. We had an excellent welcome from the staff. Specially Sean, you helped us take our bags to the room. The night Porter was also excellent. My wife only comment would be that she would like a mattress protector on the bed, although the bed was perfectly clean. I would highly recommend this for a stay.

Lovely little hotel, great location, really lovely atmosphere in the bar & staff were super friendly, nothing was too much trouble at all. Excellent food & great that you get discount on bar/restaurant food when you stay in the hotel.

The only thing that wasn't ideal was there was only one pillow for each person, there wasn't any spare ones in the room either. But honestly, we just made do, I have no doubt if we had asked this probably would have been rectified by the staff.

We've drank and dined it the Tap Haus numerous times but have.never previously stayed there. The location is ideal for Mansfield and parking was plentiful. . The rooms are quite basic but do have tea and coffee facilities and we're very clean. We found that the Manager was very accommodating and helpful

We had only one thin pillow each, which made my sleep somewhat disturbed.

Staff were polite and friendly on arrival. While shown to our room and explained where things were, we were informed that if we ate at the lodge we would have money taken off our bill due to staying with them, which we thought was very nice. The beds were very comfy, but I would recommend having 2 pillows instead of one as the pillows were soft, but overall a very pleasant stay.

The property was a comfortable setting, friendly staff, nice room with everything you needed. The food was exceptional.. 25% off on both nights and lovely food options, very tasty food.

The heating system took a while to get used to, and was a bit hit and miss, didn’t seem to circulate the room much ( though it was very cold temperatures so I understand that would make it feel worse) On both nights there was a lot of noise, not sure if from downstairs this went on till about 11/ 12.

Really great food. Comfortable beds and helpful, friendly staff. The burger and the pizza were delicious. And you get a discount on food and drink as a guest. Great touch!

It’s just a small thing but the staircase up to the rooms is a bit stinky. Is it about the grease trap? Could do with a bit of a touch up but it absolutely didn’t spoil my stay

The room was spacious, warm and comfortable with access to water, fruit, more tea and coffee on a unit outside the room. The bar area is spacious, the food is excellent, as were the various cocktails we sampled from an extensive list of options. The staff are absolutely outstanding, came to table to take order, really friendly and attentive. Overall we had a wonderful time, highly recommend.

Didn’t have breakfast as not provided at hotel so not applicable. The location for the event we were attending was excellent . Just a short walk.It might be an idea to do a breakfast in a bag as some hotels we have stayed in do. Croissant, juice carton maybe. It could be offered as an option. The hotel was clean, parking excellent, room clean and everything you needed was on hand. For the price thought it was excellent value.
