Chose an accessible room with my disability and our small dog and were given room 407. The alarm went off for about 15-20 minutes with the lift apparently the cause. I can't use steps and my wife had to navigate the steps, all 8 sets with a dog cage and our luggage. Also on arrival, it took several minutes to convince the young man on reception that we had paid for our breakfast despite his protestations. He finally found our proof online!! This after our 4 hour journey. Ever other member of staff was perfect. Love the hotel and would love to stay again.. Kind regards Paul.

Chose it for its location near to family and the motorway. Bathroom was fab, good lighting and powerful hot shower. Bar/food service was good downstairs.

The interiors are looking a little tired and at some point will need to be refreshed. Main gripe was the quality of the mattresses and the coldness of the room. Even with heating fully on, it took forever to get warm. Seriously the beds are very uncomfortable, tolerable for 1 night but that’s all!

Didn’t use all the facilities I normally would so can’t rate them higher. Locations random but lovely hotel. Very aesthetically pleasing, for a couples night away. Staff were very attentive and would bend over backwards to please all guests. Didn’t try the food but intrigued to next time I stop. Also wine selection was good.

Minor but very random location for such an all round hotel.

We stay at this property quite regular when we come up to see family it’s very handy next to the motorway, also you can charge your EV on site with the open to all Tesla charges

I always have a little moan about the beds. They are far too hard for me.

Location, and design style were all very positive, breakfast was lovely although a little pricey, 24/7 bar was great, but food offer ending a 6pm is rather limiting..!

Property is not being maintained hence looks quite aged, cladding panels are fallen from outside walls above the entrance, and carpets are all threadbare. Bedroom tv is very small and not Smart, and door woodwork enclosing the wet rooms are in a pretty poor order..! Hotel also needs a proper food offer that goes on beyond 6pm, and £10 for a cold wrap is a little too pricey for my taste..

It What is a smart modern, looking building very clean inside, Clean comfortable room, nice clean towels and bed, The shower is a good size. You’re not touching the walls in there!. We had two pillows each and we could order soft or hard pillows. If we wanted extra there is room service we went down to the restaurant to eat. The food was spectacular. I would recommend the mour burger, The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and extremely helpful. There was plenty of parking in the car park with CCTV Me and my wife had an incredible relaxing stay.

I noticed that in some places, the carpets were a bit worn, although they were clean

After experiencing a slight problem with our room (unable to turn off an extremely and dangerously hot towel rail) Reception and Housekeeping reacted superbly. We were assigned to a different room which was totally acceptable. A special mention MUST be made to a member of the Housekeeping staff who dealt with the matter perfectly. His name was Anthony and I believe on site he is referred to as Tony. He is to be commended.

When arriving in the dining area for breakfast there were no plates available and we had to wait for a supply of plates to be provided. One or two of the plates subsequently provided had not been cleaned satisfactorily. We also had to wait for a vacated table to be cleared of crockery and cleaned, Several other vacant tables also required crockery etc. to be removed and the table tops cleaned. Staff reacted reasonably quickly to address the issues but the on duty staff perhaps should have been more proactive to ensure guests were able to take their places at table without having to request the removal of dirty crockery etc and the tables cleaned.

Clean tidy and modern and good location for meeting nearby on industrial estate and good motorway access. Parking good, friendly reception staff.

The mis-trust over payment upfront for dinner even though the hotel had my room number and my card details for a tab set up. The food was good, so there no issue with that.

Breakfast was OK. understand that hospitality is generally on a budget but broader choice would have been good. however it was an inclusive price so not really a complaint, more of an observation.

I think the rooms need a bit of updating. There were some stains on the carpet and the room furniture was a little chipped and worn, carpet near the lifts ( high traffic areas ) were worn and a little threadbare.

The location of the hotel, room was spacious and facilities seemed to be good.

The mattress was too firm I know it's personal preference but perhaps something a bit more comfortable that your body gets cradled by instead of laying on top of a hard rectangle also the pillows they always seem to either be too soft with not enough filling so you have to use more than two or too hard. I know because of turn around they're standardized but could do with some pillows that actually support your neck and are comfortable because at the end of the day you're there to sleep amongst other things so I'd rather have comfort and less facilities than the other way around.
