The crowne plaza was absolutely amazing james and all the staff that are on the front desk where super helpful very friendly made you feel very comfortable and couldn't do enough for you the breakfast was amazing all the staff that was on everyday helped with all your breakfast needs and where all lovely people couldn't do enough for you the chef made pancakes everyday for my daughter she absolutely loved them and they will help with any query you might have if there isn't anything u like just ask them but the selection of breakfast food is fantastic the rooms are lovely and clean and spotless the housekeeping lady's again fantastic job in keeping the upkeep really well clean and tidy I went with my two daughters one who is autistic and overall experience of the crowe plaza and the facilities on offer and all of the staff who work at the crowne plaza was beyond exceptional 😀 absolutely loved our stay was so relaxing and comfortable beds and comfortable atmosphere a massive thankyou to everyone the works there from the worrall family hope to see 👀 you again soon I will most definitely stay again x

Lovely room with sparklingly clean en suite. Food was great. But what stood out was the approach and effort put in by every member of staff. As we entered the reception area, we were greeted by a member of staff who was going towards the lift. He stopped, welcomed us, insisted on carrying our bags and escorted us to reception. His approach was mirrored by all the staff. The barman was particularly helpful when we went down at about 16.00 for a snack. He offered to get us anything from a three course meal downward, and seemed to find it no trouble. He greeted us again at dinner. All in all, each member of staff made our visit exceptionally enjoyable.

The toilet flush in the en suite did not work too well. I thought that a flat rate of £18 per day for parking was a bit steep.

Very large nice hotel, all the public places were clean and well maintained. The room was very spacious, comfortable and remarkably quiet. The shower was very efficient (but see below) and there was a good range of toiletries to use. The hotel is a very short walk from the city centre, and the cost was reasonable for a short stay. Parking is available and was linked to the hotel, which was handy. All of the staff we met were very friendly and professional.

The single bed in the twin room was a good size, but the duvet was the same width as the bed, so it only just covered my body. If I had been a bit bigger it wouldn’t have. Normally there is a bit of overhang. The seal on the shower door needs repair, there was a lot of water escaping onto the floor, which has the potential to be a safety issue as it got quite slippery.

Central location, excellent staff. Great facilities. Fantastic breakfast.

We were woke early on the Friday morning. 😡 As it was last day after cycling Thursday, we wanted to rest a while before setting off back to Manchester. Unfortunately, due to approx 4 workmen right outside our door, banging, drilling & removing panels. Plus tool boxes all down the corridor it was like a building site. When I I looked out was told, “we got work to do”…. Completely ruined an otherwise pleasant stay. We packed our bags immediately and went to check out. When I informed to member of staff on the desk about our disturbance, he said, ah yes, 4th floor. They doing work today..we were at least refunded car parking fees, but felt too tired and unrested to argue the point and promptly left the hotel to sit in my car.

Well located for centre of Nottingham. One of the best hotels we have stayed at for a long time. We were a group up for the races which was 15 mins in taxi. Rooms were adequate but clean and no noise Hotel staff were really good. The bar / lounge are was exceptional. Spa was really good with some nice touches. Breakfast was best buffet we have had by far in the UK. Mathew Concierge was so helpful and at breakfast the greeting staff took the time to show us around which was a nice touch. Best staff member was Victoria in lounge bar - such a lovely girl so friendly chatty and helpful. The management should be very proud of their hotel and staff - it is a real credit. First choice for us in Nottingham. Highly recommended.

I love the crowne plaza and have been returning for many years now. The spa facilities are amazing as are the breakfasts. Staff were exceptional and very welcoming

As I say ive been coming for many years and was quite disappointed with our room this time around. No bath robes or slippers in our room and no sleep aids on the pillows.. ive always found these comforting when trying to relax away from home. The only issue we had was when we got up from our table at breakfast the waiting staff (a young female) cleared away our table taking all cutlery and disposed of our drinks and toast. When asked for replacement cutlery she was rather rude and commented that one of us should have stayed at the table, I am disabled and required my husbands assistance in carrying food

There was a very varied choice of breakfast and the breakfast room was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room although clean and comfortable was quite small, especially with a king sized bed in it. The bathroom was ok, but the toilet was right up against the wall so not a lot of space if you are a bigger person. Also, voices could be heard from adjoining rooms so privacy is certainly lacking. Lastly, it is summertime but the was a winter duvet on the bed. Even with the A/C on high, it was still uncomfortable to sleep under the duvet.

Matthew and Gemma went the extra mile for me during my stay. I was in a really sticky situation and they worked with me in order to find a solution to my issue. They were attentive and patient and did what they could - which ended up exceeding my expectation of resolving the issue at hand. They did this whilst also simultaneously serving other people which truly displayed their skill in working under pressure - to which I was very impressed. I am very happy, very grateful for their presence during my check-in. They really made sure my time away for work was not a disaster and the hole I dug myself in was easy to get out with them helping me. Matthew and Gemma, thank you so much. You are keeping a big name like Crowne Plaza keep up their reputation.

we liked everything from the room, the breakfast, the location....... The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and to have a fridge is always a nice touch. The air con was easy to work and worked well. The bathroom was spotless, a good size bath and a good shower. The breakfast was lovely, the Cumberland sausages and bacon were very tasty and great quality and proper mushrooms! You can't fault the location. Directly opposite Rock City and right next to the theatre royal and concert hall. A realistic 15min walk to the train station. We will definitely be back as this is our choice of hotel when ever we visit Nottingham 😊

I liked the decor of my room and bar and the free spa also everything you need in room iron ironing board hair dryer large tv etc excellent staff free hot chocolate n biscuits with tea n coffee in room plus fridge with complimentary water oh and nearly forgot absolutely loved the 12 o’clock checking out

Area for kettle had to be moved about and short lead didn’t help couldn’t get the level of lighting I wanted controlled from bed just too bright breakfast area could be better felt dated and needs brightened up maybe some separating n more green/plants etc
