Every member of staff was polite, cheerful, welcoming and efficient. The hotel is spacious and in very good decorative order. The food was of exceptional quality and variety, especially at breakfasts. There were a few minor issues with our room (see below) but the Front of House Manager, Joshua Chinn, couldn't have been any more helpful and courteous in resolving the issues to our total satisfaction.

We had problems with the bedding (too small for the bed) and there were shortcomings every day with re-stocking the room with coffee pods, coffee bags, milk and biscuits but reception were able to help with these issues.

The hotel is very beautiful and rooms are of good and high standard standard as well as deco and facilities supplied. It was very clean inside and outside. The breakfast service and staff were excellent explained everything and the breakfast was nice except ran out of mushrooms and I wanted some. Dinner was awful to be honest with you your chef needs reflecting as they spoilt a beautiful stay

We were celebrating our cousin 65th birthday and had paid £45 each for the evening meal. It was a disaster for a celebration meal or any ordinary meal in such a high spec hotel. The meal was nowhere near our cultural needs. The rice was raw and how a chef could have saved that rice is beyond us. These days there are slow cookers and rice cookers so how your chef could have come up with saving us raw rice is disturbing. Frankly we are owed our money back as this spoilt our night. The service of the meal was late, and replenishment took a lot time, the food was left uncovered and got cold, the chips which I dont have myself I believe were not nice at all.

A Perfect Stay – Unforgettable Experience! I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering breathtaking views and all the modern amenities I could ask for. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping everything pristine throughout my stay.

Tv not working on arrival Phone not working on arrival- phone replaced by staff who tried but was unable to make it work , so unable to order room service and had to leave hotel for food on Christmas Day. Room was a connecting room to a family with a young child who cried continuously, parents shouting until shortly after midnight so struggled to sleep. In my pjs & no phone connection made it difficult to leave room to query a room change. Alot of inconvenience when it could have been a nice stay as hotel facilities were great.

I felt line our room was a bit unprepared. TV was not working, one set of towels and a pillow were missing, no conditioner in the bath and shower cobweb on one of the lamps. The Asian lady I spoke to at reception told me there was nothing she could do as there were no technicians on Friday and Saturday to fix tv. I said that would ruin my experience therefore it needed to be reflected on the cost. I mentioned that to one of the managers too. Luckily one of the guys at reception was able to fix the tv on the Saturday and I was happy.

Staff were great especially the staff at breakfast. A very cheerful chap who's name I didn't catch but he was very attentive and they were very good when enquiring about allergies. Breakfast was fantastic, plentiful and lots of plant based milk options which were good for dietary requirements. Our room Wren Suite was welcoming and very spacious with complimentary drinks which was a nice touch. It wasn't noisy at all but I think we were lucky with where our room was located. Pool area was good for the kids to swim although the times are a bit restrictive and it was very busy with lots of people on spa afternoons. We'd come back again if we got a good price.

As other guests have commented the place could do with a bit of a refurb some of the corners of the rooms where the carpet meets the skirting board where a bit grubby and the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The pool changing rooms where a bit worn and grim in places. The pool was very busy with people having spa experiences - I wouldn't recommend this for a spa for large groups as there's just not enough room.

Friendly staff , breakfast was very tasty and the waiter couldn’t do enough. It was abit to much but was harmless enough. The bed and the pillows especially was very comfy.

When arriving the main desk was eating his lunch while we was waiting to be seen too. He was very apologetic, however he should have time to sit down and enjoy his break. The room only had a few working channels I thought with having its expensive look you would have had apps on the television. There was a switches that didn’t work in the room wasn’t the end of the world but I think what’s the point then being there if it doesn’t work.

The heating in the building and room was really good (though it may be too hot for some people) - Beneficial especially during the winter time. The room was spacious for a standard double and the bathroom provides both a shower and bath so you have options of having a quick shower or a long relaxing bath. The spa facilities were a bit smaller than expected but standard otherwise. The spa treatment offers the opportunity for a dual room - a nice choice if you and your other half want to have one together.

Part of the spa treatment massage was a bit too hard for my partner - ended up with a sore upper back instead of a relaxed after the treatment unfortunately.

I truly enjoyed the spa facilities and the food was great, the room and bathroom was clean to a high standard. Overall the hotel is lovely. Oh yes you never know what famous person you may see/ meet at breakfast.

There was a delay with house keeping. We had to wait around 40 minutes or so for the room to be ready. A good gesture would have been to offer a free complimentry hot or cold drink. The toilet in our room seat/rim was super slender, and the toliet lid fell forward on my back quiet a few times. The toilet flush bitton was directly behind the toliet lid, not on top like all other toilets. When housekeeping refilled our room with water, it would have been nice to receive two mini packets of biscuits. It would have been even nicer to have had and extra blanket or pillow in the room.

Room was very comfortable and well equipped. Bathroom had clearly just been renovated and was very nice with plenty of good quality toiletries supplied. Bed was very comfortable and nice touch having complimentary bottles of water and tea/coffee as well as take away cups which I have never seen before in a hotel but is such a good idea! Breakfast was really good. Fantastic choice of options and very good quality. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a long time. Very friendly staff at breakfast too. In fact all the staff we had contact with during our stay were very friendly and helpful. Definitely makes a difference having smiley, friendly staff! If we visit Nottingham again, I would most definitely stay here again.
