We liked everything about our stay, From the staff, hotel, the location was clean and room was ideal..

There was nothing I didnt like it was a fantastic few days away..

It was clean and well presented all the staff were exceptional couldn’t do enough for you and the parking is free which is a bonus

Really nice hotel, checked in at midnight and the dude checked me in was awesome. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The hotel was undergoing some renovations but the staff went out of their way to be helpful including letting us in a fire door to save having to walk up and down the stairs with heavy cases. (lift available by reception) Excellent large room with very good amenities including huge shower. Breakfast supplies were fantastic including self service Continental, full English, cereals, fruit, pastries, juices, tea & coffee, GF choices were available on asking as well. Hotel restaurant is not doing lunch or evening meals at moment but there are plenty of excellent choices nearby. Fantastic local bus services to city centre stopping literally to the left of the Hotel, check out the all day ticket options. Lots to see and do, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Very hard to say as any problems were soon sorted out by the friendly and helpful staff who were full of useful information. Suggest using crossing point near the Hotel as road can suddenly become very busy due to nearby multiple road junction.

Lovely warm spacious room with king size comfortable bed. Free on site parking. Very frequent bus service to city - every couple of minutes. Lovely en suite with a walk in shower and upmarket gels and lotions.. Several shops including Lidls opposite

No coffee maker despite what it says in description- only a kettle plus instant coffee etc.. Sofa had been repaced by a grey armchair and a yellow upright chair. No cupboards or drawers, though plenty of shelves .Mirror and cabinet lights not conected.Needed ear plugs as on main road.

The hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations! Everyone was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Every bit of the hotel was really clean. The room was lovely and the pillows were amazing. Location was perfect. There was plenty of parking right outside and there was a fantastic Indian restaurant over the road. There was also a local shop, a pizza and kebab restaurant, a fish and chip shop and Lidl! The hotel sorted a taxi for us to take us to the venue and it was much cheaper than we expected. They also picked us up after the show. Breakfast was really good - again nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. Lots of choice of both hot and cold food and all very fresh. Checkout wasn't until 11 too which was really appreciated! The decor was fresh and quirky - we loved it! Comfy sofas and armchairs and all very relaxed. And, very importantly for me, the disabled facilities were excellent! Large, clean, easily accessible and many extras.

There actually wasn't anything! We would definitely stay here again.

The room was huge with a super king size bed and a single bed. The shower was very easy to use and powerful - rain showerhead as well as normal. We were at the front on the ground floor and did wonder if the frequent bus service would be a problem but we didn't need to worry as the glazing and heavy curtains cancelled the noise. Save the beat till last..... The customer service was excellent. So friendly and helpful. I won't name individually as they were all equally brilliant. We stayed in room 105.

There was a bar but none of the pumps were connected so only served bottled beer. Also no food availability. A vending machine would have been good so that we could have at least bought snacks.

Excellent value for money. Good location. Big room, comfy beds, clean, excellent shower. Breakfast was lovely, lots of options. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Lovely interiors in the bar/restaurant areas. Will definitely be staying again.

Birthday celebration with family, no issues, staff friendly, room was upgraded to a King, was all very nice and clean. Breakfast was nice. Staff cant do enough to help. Comfy large bed and lovely bathroom. Short taxi ride into City Centre, but you could also walk it. Taxi firm that the hotel used were very friendly and good service.

Bar was not open until 5pm, (and no staff), but the reception gave us a drink earlier so we could start our break away in Nottingham, before heading into the town for birthday celebrations. Staff member was new so had little knowledge of bar but was friendly - took her time and asked us a few questions - she was lovely. I feel the bar should be open earlier in preparation for paying guests being in the hotel on a weekend, also when we got back later, it looked like the bar was open but 2 guys just sat in front of the tv watching football, no atmosphere, didn't feel I wanted to go in, which was a shame as it wasn't that late. Music and a welcoming bar would feel more appropriate.

Great find! Well presented place. Pleasant room,comfy bed, nice staff good food and unbelievably good value!breakfast was plentiful,well cooked and wide choice. Excellent location with restaurants, fast food,wine merchants and a Lidl directly opposite! Plentiful parking right outside the front door. The layout of corridors a bit of a maize quirky up and down small flights of stairs but hey it’s a characterful old building so cant be helped and fine by us.
