When we arrived we had low expectations £66.00 including breakfast so didn't expect much.The exterior of the hotel was, frankly, pretty awful but as we walked through the door we were pleasantly surprised. Nice design and welcoming spaces . Staff all lovely, very welcoming and friendly and all very keen to help. We were upgraded at reception to a bigger room with a sofa . Room was comfortable and bed was great. WiFi was a bit patchy and t.v channel choice not great but overall a very nice stay. Food in the restaurant ( Asian tapas) was fresh and tasty and breakfast was great.We ⁶expected that for the price we paid we'd probably justcget continental breakfast but it was full English with quality items.

Wifi patchy , t.v channels not great. Don't think there were apps on the t.v, e.g netflix etc.

The room was very comfortable and the staff were so lovely and helpful, providing us with a travel cot too. We loved the breakfast - especially the variety on offer and the green smoothie was delicious. We requested vegetarian sausages too which were made fresh and really appreciated. The breakfast staff also warmed up some milk for our 18 month old. Overall, the stay was lovely, staff super friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for having us.

The only thing I would have liked was a bath in our room but we only had a shower - it wasn't a problem but it is just easier to bath a baby than to shower them.

Well equipped comfortable room. The hotel was clean and new facilities throughout the inside of the building. The staff were great, with thanks to Mandy who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and assist us. It's a pet friendly hotel with lots of grassy patches for them to enjoy. The breakfast was great with a variety of options including meat and gluten free. There is a lot of car parking. Thank you again for a great stay.

The outside of the hotel doesn't do it justice. The interior looks a decade ahead of the exterior. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover.

The staff are lovely and very welcoming, the rooms are excellent, and the beds comfy.

I checked the menu on line and it isn't what is being served in the restaurant, at all. the food was good, tho not what we went for. We would have gone out, not a lot of choice. Plus there was no heating on in the restaurant and bar, we were freezing. The place is lovely and we may have enjoyed our meal more with a little heat in the place. It was very quiet, and not a lot of people about so maybe saving a little but definitely at a cost to those that were there.

Great location just off the roundabout, there was a big car park with plenty of parking, the lobby and reception area were very clean and airy and the bar area had plenty of seating. Staff were lovely and welcoming and very accomodating, we had breakfast there and it was really good. Room was a nice size. We would stay here again.

The food and drink was quite pricey, we found a pub about 5 mins away with a reasonably priced menu and drinks. The room was a distance away from the main reception and we had to trek up and down the stairs to get anywhere. The room could've been cleaner, the windows were difficult to open and the bathroom needed a freshen up.

We had a quick overnight stay. The hotel or some parts of the hotel have had a relatively recent refurb, so common areas looked fresh, tidy and modern. The staff were really helpful - I spoke to them before my stay on the phone and also during my stay in person and everyone was really welcoming and helpful. Dog friendly. Lots of grounds around the hotel to walk around with the dog in the middle of the night. Breakfast was superb and fresh and everything was there that we needed. Great value. Sandiacre is also a nice place to stop off if you are on a long journey and fancy a mooch about. We would definitely return again and top marks to the staff for making this hotel a great place to stay.

Nothing. This hotel is great value. This is not a stately home with a long rolling drive - it's a functional 70's style hotel. Pretty cool in it's architectural features if you like this type of style.

The quietness. The room location and easy way to get from the room to our parked car. We didnt use the bar or restaurant this time so cant comment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checking out by 12 is a big plus👍Also having a charging point for our electric car was fantastic.

Even though I tried to turn down the heating it stayed at 21 which was too high at night for us. I eventually turned it off. We found it too hot on the first night. I'm sure most people would be happy with the heat. In the description of the room when I booked it it said we had a mini bar but it was missing. The cupboard was there but no fridge.

Staff are friendly. Reception staff excellent, attentive and helpful.

The restaurant couldn't cope/seemed under staffed. We kept getting told to order later as the kitchen was too busy however observed the bar took orders from other people who went up asking for food then when we asked again told our group they were too busy again to take our order and try again later. 5 mins before the food was due to close I had to insist they take our order otherwise we would end up with no food. After our order was taken the food arrived promptly and was great.

The cost for the two nights was extremely reasonable. The staff were friendly, and informative on Reception, and in the Restaurant during breakfast and our evening meal. The clean room had all the amenities that are expected in a hotel, plus an iron and ironing board. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere in the bar area, with television screens to keep up to date with the European Cup!

I always think that in bathrooms there should be information on how to use the shower - each one is different.

Lovely front desk service when we checked in, we liked that dogs were allowed in the lounge/bar area, food and drink was fine, the service was great. Room was the perfect temperature, clean and tidy. The bed was super comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Check out was quick and good too. We bought a super large dog blanket which we put over the sofa bed to protect it and dogs slept soundly on there. Easy access via the closest fire exit (as advised by the front desk) was easy too and outside security lights came on and outside bins to put the poo bags :) All in all a great stay.

No issues at all.
